Martha and Lydia

Hello! Martha (she/her, 26) and Lydia (she/her, 27) here. Queer couple from the UK.

A bit about us: after travelling Asia for 9 months we’ve decided to get a working visa and settle in Melbourne. We’re arriving at the beginning of December and we can’t wait!
Martha is a nurse and is applying to work at the children’s hospital & Lydia is a psychology graduate/teacher for special needs. Both looking to work full-time.

We’ve both lived in house shares for the last 9 years, are both clean and tidy and both have been vaccinated against COVID.
Super friendly girls who enjoy a balance in life of socialising, meeting people and having fun but also taking time to wind down. Our interests include diving, hiking, travelling, skating, sustainable fashion/ shopping, festivals, veggie cooking, reading, activism and being creative. We love all things environment and love being outside connecting with nature whenever we can. We’re both veggie/vegan & are excited to get back to cooking up a storm at home!

Super excited to meet new people in Melbourne and feel like it a the most ‘us’ place in Aus! We would love to join a few clubs/ sports whilst in Melbourne too. Always up for trying new things, having a laugh and looking on the positive side of life.

We are hoping to share a room in a flat share, and looking for some fun but wholesome Flatmates who think we would be a good fit, if you would also like to cook dinner together that would be a plus, love dinner parties! We adore animals so more than happy to live with pets. Despite being veggies ourselves, we’re happy and comfortable to live with meat-eaters :) you do you hun!
