Hi! Name's Roy, a 28 year old English as a second language (ESL) teacher from Indonesia. I just graduated with my Master of Applied Linguistics from Unimelb last year, and currently working on a full-time contract as a Language Testing Officer in Laverton, so I'm looking for a room in the western suburbs for the next 6 months (with a possibility for extension).

I'm quite introverted by nature; however, I do enjoy getting to know people from diverse backgrounds and going off on tangents between different topics. My hobbies include baking, reading, thrifting, hitting the gym, trying out different cuisines from around the world, and visiting various cultural events around the city. Additionally, I can get a bit nerdy about languages, culture, geography, and alternate history.

When it comes to lifestyle, cleanliness and keeping an organized life are very important to me. I'm highly respectful of other people's spaces, and I appreciate my quite times. At the same time, I'm pretty easy going and enjoy occasional game nights, dinners, drinks, and other social activities. At the end of the day, I do believe that it's important to maintain good rapports with the people you live with, even though we're living our own lives.
