Hi there! I'm a mature female student at ANU from Indonesia who will be studying environmental management and development. Planning to arrive in Canberra somewhere in mid-January.
I am looking for long-term accommodation, preferably near ANU. Although short-term could also be an option for my temporary stay while searching for firmer accommodation,
For living preferences, I prefer the cozy simplicity of a studio apartment, although I am open to living in a shared house that values diversity. I also enjoy the homestay experience, as it allows me to connect with locals and learn more about their way of life. You can count on my cleanliness, and I will try my best to keep the flat tidy.
Besides my studies, I am keen on learning French and Dutch and will spend my spare time doing some light sports like swimming or yoga. I love traveling, exploring cities, and immersing myself in different cultures. As a child, I was a fan of Steve Irwin; it would be great to explore Australia to follow his footsteps, and it would be even greater if we could be both flatmates and travel companions ;)
I don't smoke, and I don't have any pets or kids, though I wouldn't mind sharing space and time with them. I am open to any recommendations; let's have a chat!
