Sally

Hi future roomies! My name is Sally and I am a travelling burlesque performer, production coordinator & dance teacher currently living in Adelaide. Earlier this year I was in Perth to perform at the FringeWorld festival for the second year in a row, and not only did I fall even more in love with the city of Perth than I did last year, but I also fell in love with someone while I was there too… 🤭 Being in a long distance relationship is really not cutting it for us at the moment, so now I’m looking into taking the next step and packing my life up to move interstate. I had already been wanting to move out of Adelaide for a while, then once these recent events took place it has kind of helped to make the decision for me!
A little bit more about me… At the moment for work I have been doing lots of travelling and performing interstate, so I am most likely not going to be home all that much. When I am in Perth, I will be teaching dance classes in the evenings (I have already lined up a teaching job for when I move), performing, or otherwise out a lot at night. I already have plenty of friends in Perth that I have made when visiting there and I am quite the social butterfly so when I am not working or performing I am often out and about supporting other shows or at community events.
The big catch with me is probably that I have two small dogs who will also need a home, they are both 8 years old so very chill and mainly love to sleep, Coco the chihuahua and Molly the toy poodle. They are very friendly, cuddly and make a great addition to any household. They are used to both sleeping outside in a kennel or inside in their bed, whichever works for the household. I know that having pets is probably going to be the thing that makes it hard for me to find a place, but I am optimistic.
At this stage, I am seeking somewhere short term (3-6 months) just to get me over to Perth, so that once I am there I am able to attend rental inspections and apply for a property of my own to live in with my partner.
