Housing for the summer?

Hi there! My name's Meredith, and I'm looking for a room from early November until early February while I'm in Melbourne on a Working Holiday Visa.

I'm currently in my second year of a four-year Bachelor of Social Work, with a minor in Spanish, at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. I'll be in Melbourne over the summer and would love to live in the inner north—Fitzroy, Collingwood, Brunswick, Brunswick East, Northcote, Thornbury, or Preston are all ideal.

Budget: $250–300/week.

If any UniMelb students are heading home for the summer and looking for someone to take over their room, I'd absolutely be interested! Would love to get something sorted early if someone knows they’re peacing out for the summer and wants somebody to take over!!!

A little about me: I'm originally from Baltimore, Maryland (USA), but I've been living in New Zealand for the past two years. I'm a lesbian, love exploring cafés, cooking, going for walks, finding good food, and getting out to see new parts of the city. I've worked in hospitality for several years, so I'm very used to living and working with people. I'd say I'm clean, considerate, easy-going, and enjoy a good balance of socialising with housemates while also respecting everyone's personal space.
