Jess

Hi! My name is Jess, a 22-year-old woman from the Lake District in northwest England. I’ve been travelling around Australia for the past two months and am now looking to settle in Sydney from mid-December to late January while finding work in the hospitality sector.

A bit about me — I’m easy-going, extroverted, and always up for a good laugh. One of my favourite parts of travelling has been meeting new people and building great friendships, something I hope to continue in Sydney.

I like to stay active, whether it’s surfing, running, tennis, swimming, or hiking. I think sports are often better with others, so joining a Sydney run club might be on the cards! I graduated this summer with a Psychology degree, which I plan to take further once I’ve satisfied the travel bug.

As a flatmate, I’m sociable but also respect everyone’s need for peace and space. I genuinely enjoy cleaning (strange but true) and love cooking — especially for others. I’m also fairly handy around the house (no promises though!). After living in shared houses and flats since I was 18, I consider myself flexible, patient, and easy to live with.
