Dorsa Majidi

Hey! My name is Dorsa, and I am a prospective Ph.D. student in astrophysics at the University of Sydney. I am currently in the U.S., but I will be moving to Sydney by March 1st, 2026. I will be moving on my own, though I hope to have family and close friends visit.

A little bit about me: I am 28 years old and have been living in the U.S. for more than a decade. I was born and raised in Iran, and my family and I moved to the U.S. when I was in high school. I really love what I study—so I am definitely a bit of a nerd. I also enjoy learning about a wide range of topics, including history, theater, and literature.

Some of my hobbies include swimming, watching movies, café hopping, and exploring different types of art. That is all I can think to share for now. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
