Tomie

Hello there ~
I am Tomie! I am moving down from Brisbane to Melbourne in April 2026 (flexible date). I love Pokemon (cards and games!), horror manga, journaling, and so much more! I study Japanese in my spare time and once I’m settled in to Melbourne I’ll be studying and working.

I love to have a laugh in life and am super easy to get along with. Absolutely not a party person. I don’t smoke, and don’t drink (except for maybe ONE cheeky marg if I’m out with friends!). If you’re looking for a quiet housemate, that’s me! If you’re looking for a housemate to socialize with, that’s also me! I’ve been share living since I was 18 so I’m very respectful of space and house resources. I love to cook dinners for others and would love to do like a once a week movie night if you’re up for it! If not, totally fine!

Coming with me are my two small pet birds who would live in my room with me and not go into any other parts of the house. They are very sweet and silly and have a 7:30~8:30pm bed time routine. Their cage is covered until at least midday so that they are only “awake” for the afternoon hours. They are both microchipped and their registered names are Mr Ramen Noodle and Mr Udon Noodle. You’re more than welcome to get to know them if you wish! I also have a birdie backpack and take them on picnics sometimes that you can also join in ☺️ I’ve had them for 18 months now and have never had any issues from my real estate or neighbours.

Preferably looking for an unfurnished room but not a deal breaker. Not open to room sharing. Rent and bills up to $450/wk is my budget. I’m on a fixed income so have no issues!
