I'm moving to Melbourne to find work in the environment, renewable energy and sustainable policy field (a career change for me after owning an optometry practice for the last 7yrs… long story, ha). While I’m currently on a job hunt, I’m financially secure and won’t have any problems paying rent.

It’s my first time in Melbourne so I’m looking for a place to call home and to start exploring the city. I’m more of a daytime person than a night owl and I usually volunteer a few days a week so I’ll be out at landcare or maybe rural fire service group until a full-time role presents itself :)

I’m mid 30’s but honestly people are often surprised and mistake me for being in my late 20's... am I young at heart, great skincare routine, bath in the blood on my enemies? who knows? ha. I’m 50% homebody that likes to bake cakes, cook vegetarian meals (no issues if you're not vego) and watch old films and 50% extrovert looking to make new friends in a new city and find arts, music and cultural events.

I'm pretty active, love to alternate between running, cycling and napping to keep things balanced. Prepping for a triathlon at the moment…

Melbourne is totally new for me so I'm looking for somewhere that's peaceful and cosy to come back to in the evening's. I love to nest and look after the places I stay

I'm looking for housemates who sometimes like to hang out and talk about interesting ideas or go to a pub trivia night or two and who sometimes like to be left to to do their own thing
