My husband and I are a quiet, responsible, and conscientious couple looking for our next home in Brisbane. We don't smoke, have no pets, and have no children. I'm currently studying at Griffith University while also working, and my husband is working as well — so we're both financially stable and have no trouble covering rent comfortably and on time.

We're looking for an independent one-bedroom unit rather than a shared/share-house arrangement, ideally with a formal lease agreement, as we'd like to establish a solid rental history here in Australia. We've been in our current rental for about six months, and our landlord is more than happy to provide a reference for us — we've always paid rent on time and kept the property in excellent condition.

We're hoping to find a long-term home and are happy to commit to a longer lease, and to keep renewing it for as long as the landlord is happy with us. If it helps strengthen our application, we're also able to pay one to two months' rent in advance.

We lead a calm, tidy lifestyle, take great care of any property we live in, and are respectful of neighbours and shared spaces. We'd love the opportunity to chat further and are happy to provide references or any additional information you might need.
