Hey! I'm a super easygoing and active 25y/o woman, who's decided the solo-living life ain't for me so I'm on the prowl for a friendly and social sharehouse, ideally with at least 2 other people! I've lived in a co-ed sharehouse before so I'm comfortable with a mixed-gender dynamic, but would prefer at least one other woman in the household. I'm also vegan, but as long as I can keep my own pots and pans separate I don't care what everyone else is eating.
I have a very busy lifestyle working 30+hrs/wk in healthcare and studying nuclear medicine full time at Newcastle Uni, so I'm out of the house most days of the week and am definitely after a place with good access to public transport (especially metro or trains). When I am home I thrive in a shared common space with friendly people, and I'm trying to expand my social circle so a house thats down to host and/or attend the odd gatho/event is ideal!
Something worth knowing is I have an axolotl who would be coming with me; his tank has about a 1.5x0.5m footprint and would ideally be kept on the ground floor for ease since its very heavy. He's very low maintenance, basically a decoration and I'd maintain the responsibility of taking care of him including any excess $$ to the electric bill from running his tank.
Side note- a private bathroom or ensuite is HIGHLY preferred, but I'm definitely willing to sacrifice this for the right place. Just know I am a bit of a bathroom hog (3 years of living alone will do that to ya), but not the inconsiderate type and would vacate asap if anyone needed it!
