I’m a 33-year-old queer guy looking for a private room in a share house in Sydney. I’m hoping to find somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a place to rent a room.
🐶 A little bit about me:
I have a gorgeous 6-year-old Maltese named Henry. He’s house-trained, friendly and very much my little shadow, so I’m looking for somewhere that is pet-friendly and happy to have him.
💻 I work full-time and work from home a few days a week, so having a reasonably comfortable and quiet space is important to me.
🌱 Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, cooking and generally having a pretty relaxed lifestyle. I’m definitely happy to cook for the house from time to time and I’m always up for a chat and a drink together. 🍻
I’m respectful of other people's privacy and personal space, and I’m looking for housemates who are similarly considerate. I’m not really looking for a party house — I’m much more into a relaxed home where everyone can do their own thing but also enjoys hanging out occasionally.
🏠 What I’m looking for:
• My own private room
• Pet-friendly 🐶
• Ideally a car space, but street parking is completely fine
• A relaxed, respectful household
• Ideally not a party house
• Somewhere I can feel comfortable working from home
• Sydney — open to different areas depending on the place
💰 Budget:
$500 per week, depending on the place.
I can go up to $550/week if bills are included (electricity, water, gas and internet).
I’m pretty easygoing and not expecting a perfect house — just hoping to find a good home with some nice people where Henry and I can settle in. 😊
