Josefine and Lara

Hi! 😊 We’re Lara and Josi, two best friends from Hamburg, Germany, looking for a place to call home during our time in Sydney.

We’ll be in Sydney from 31 December 2026 until 21 February 2027 for an internship as part of our studies. We both study Early Childhood Education and also work at Hamburg Airport alongside university.

We’re friendly, responsible, clean and respectful. We’re not big party people and prefer relaxed evenings, cooking together, exploring the city and travelling. We love discovering new countries and cultures – earlier this year we travelled to Africa together, where we also completed an internship. Now we’re fulfilling a big dream of ours and visiting Australia for the very first time! 🇦🇺🦘

We’re happy to share one bedroom and are mainly looking for a furnished and affordable place in or around St Leonards, but we’re flexible with the location as long as St Leonards is reachable within about one hour by public transport.

We’d love to live in a friendly and welcoming home and will always treat the place with care and respect. 🏡✨
