Hey :) I'm woman in early 40s (with rental refs) looking to join or establish a share home with 1 or 2 others. I'm a creative and social justice minded person with a lot of experience house sharing looking for similarly experienced share housers. I'm open minded and compassionate and would love to live with like-minded LGBQTI friendly folk - preferably female identifying or folk who are respectful to women. Keen to foster a home rather than house atmosphere, and appreciate a chat over tea or shared meal when schedules align. I do also appreciate some quiet time and can see when others need theirs. I work in the environment and creative sectors (music) and am reliable for paying bills on time. I like pets but don't have any - sometimes have allergies/ sometime not - not sure why. Interests/hobbies include cooking, languages, yoga, reading, music, singing, seeing live music, dancing, spirituality, personal development, gardening. Preference to use recycling bin, using energy efficiently. Fan of a clean home with a lived in feel, open to roster if needs. Would be good to have own bathroom or at least a loo separate to bathroom (would love a bath!). Keen for a decent heating system for colder months. I am in to jazz and folk - have electric keyboard with headphones, learning some songs currently. I am mindful of sleep needs too - I need to sleep too and go to work in the morning so I understand. Regarding space I need for my stuff: a queen bed, electric keyboard, desk, wardrobe, and space to do some stretches/ yoga. Be great to have an extra living space to bedroom or big room for desk/instruments for work/ practice. I have some book shelves but things in those could maybe go in a wardrobe, and some extra storage space would be welcome (otherwise I keep my storage unit). Also keen for a place where it's ok to have a well mannered and respectful partner visit roughly one or two nights per week, and am ok with that from others (I place a high priority on me and housemates feeling safe at home). Preference for people with references. Like getting to coast/sydney every so often.
