Hi! I’m looking for a room anywhere inner city! I’ve got a little shih tzu, Rosie, she’s lived in plenty of apartments before and is trained on pee pads as well as on grass (she also doesn’t shed!!). So we would prefer a little yard but an apartment is ok too as long as it has a balcony :) I work full time in the city and from home a couple days a week so enjoy my weekends hanging out with friends, exploring, trying a new restaurant or getting a drink. Otherwise I’m very laid back and love having a chat and hanging out with my housemates. However I also understand peoples privacy and space. Hi! I just finished my PhD in developmental/comparative psychology and am looking for a place to stay for 6 months or so while I scout for post-docs! I moved back home to finish my PhD after a break-up and stayed to see my mumma through cancer treatment, but now that we're on the other side of that, I'd definitely like a bit more space, privacy and independence again! I have quite a bit of furniture in storage - couch, armchair, coffee table, rug, bookcase, small dining table with 4 chairs, small outdoor table with 2 chairs, bureau etc. But I'm lacking appliances like a tv, fridge and washer/dryer. My ideal set-up would be a granny flat or one bedroom unit or a share house with at most 2 flat mates, preferably girls (also LGBTQI+ friendly :) I'd be willing to pay a bit more for the space of a master bedroom with an ensuite and at least a small yard for my doggo (though he'll get taken for walks/to the dog park regardless). Koda is 6yo chocolate border collie! He would do well with a medium to large sized pal (he's not a huge fan of tiny dogs), but would otherwise lavish just having the attention of more people for pats! Total sook. I'm quiet, clean and can bring a robo vac to help keep on top of the dog hair! I'm happy to make friends and hang out occasionally or play board games, but also enjoy my own space!
