I'm in a period of my life where I really want to put my head down and make progress.Im fairly calm and reserved, but friendly and honest.Ideally I'm looking for a place where everyone is respectful and openly communicative.Im looking for a sharehouse where everybody has their own space and hopefully sort of seperate areas. I always clean up after myself and consider my affect on others.Ive lived in share houses before, and I think the ability to communicate honestly and respectfully is important.I don't like tension and would much rather address issues as they arise. I'm looking for a medium term lease of around 12 months or so to begin with.I have a car and require parking. I'm looking to move immediately, and would like to meet the people I'll be living with to see if it's a dynamic that seems good. I have a preference that I try to avoid strong perfumes, spray deodorants and things of this nature.Im very conscious of these things as exposure to these various chemicals brings me immense distress. I'd like a place with tiles or wooden floors, this is a preference but not absolutely necessary. I think finding the right group of people is really what I'm looking for. Hi, my name’s Tayla and I’ve been living in Brisbane for about two years now after moving from Cairns to begin studying a dual degree of marine biology/mathematics at UQ. I’ve been working full-time for the past four years before moving and am now working part-time during the uni term and full time in the off season. I am looking for a room for at least 12 months in a 2-3 bed dwelling, and would prefer to share with other like-minded, clean and tidy students or working professionals (women only). I am also looking for places either close to the city or close the the UQ St Lucia campus (or both!) I have built up a good rental history in the last five years since I first moved out of home in 2019. My current lease ends mid-June, so ideally I am looking for a place available no earlier than the beginning of June. I’m open to 6-12 month stay times. In my free time I enjoy walking in nature, going to the markets, snorkelling, catching up with friends, and exploring new places. I’d like a roommate/s who’d be down for a glass of wine and a chat but can also respect personal space. Would prefer not a party house as I’m not much of a party animal myself, but the odd party here and there is definitely not a bother ☺️
