I'm a clean, friendly and relaxed person who is always up for a chat, but also respects other people's space. I work full-time as a Communications and Design Officer in a secure position so I'm out most days. At nights I generally go bouldering or just like to relax, chill out and have down time. If you feel I would suit your place please contact me to arrange an inspection time.
The property itself is a huge house, it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one is an ensuite) and this room has its own downstairs toilet. The room is definitely the largest in the house and has a large wardrobe with mirrors on the rolling doors. It also has a bed already in it that you are welcome to have - it’s a double with a mattress. An Ikea purchase made on 6 months ago! The location is great as well right near parliament and other government departments - if you’re studying and/or don’t have a car there is a bus at the end of the street that goes straight through parliament towards ANU. The whole trip takes between 15-20 minutes. I’m leaving but there is two housemates (one is a doctor and one is a pharmacist) who are both really nice people. Electricity and internet are shared, which came to about $150 each for the last quarter. Internet is $20 each a month for VDSL. Water is included in the rent and this is a gas less property! Canberra outlet centre is about a 10 minute drive as well!
Son Thai. 51 years old male software engineer. Work Mon-Fri in Canberra and go to Sydney on weekends. I only stay in Canberra 4 nights per week, usually getting home late. I am clean, tidy, don't usually cook (I use the microwave mostly). I work and study so would not make much noises. I am a non-smoker and have no pets; I expect my flatmate to be also a non-smoker and have no pets (i.e. dogs, cats). Details from other fields in case you have not noticed: Move in date 12-th September 2018. Subburbs: Kingston, Fyshwick, Griffith, Narabundah. Need to have internet connection available. No car so don't need a parking space, except on moving days.
Coming across to Canberra to join the public service after studying in Sydney. I've lived in share houses in Sydney and in Munich, Germany where I did an internship so I'm well house-trained and also love meeting new flatmates. I'm independent but also enjoy a fun, friendly and relaxed household where we can occasionally go out for meals/movie/netflix binge. I am also more than happy to leave people to their own space as well - highly adaptable.
I’m positive, outgoing and super friendly. I’m into yoga, great conversations and I love to cook! I am a solicitor who has a passion for social justice. I am currently working in Indigenous Affairs Strategic Policy. I am vegetarian, sustainbly conscious and shop at the markets on the weekend. Would like to live with housemates who are recycling and composting too :) I would love to share a cottage style house, with French windows (one can dream!) and a small garden. I am ideally looking for a studio or to share with one other. I am open to a 3 person sharehouse if it’s the right fit! Having lived in a number of sharehouses, I’m considerate of others’ space and am looking for a home that is a cosy sanctuary respected by all.
One room for rent in a quiet Narrabundah duplex house. This property is 200 metres from the shops, restaurants and cafes of the local village, and Kingston and Manuka are just a short distance away. The property has a large back garden and a garage if you wish to store your car under cover. The house is furnished but also has a shed behind the property for storage. The vacant room (will be unfurnished) is the main bedroom and has a large closet space to store lots of clothes. The room can easily hold a king size bed (as seen in the photo) The house has a split cycle air conditioner/heater and the bedroom has its own heater for those Canberra nights! I have a dog (golden retriever) who is very friendly and house-trained.
Hi, I'm new to Canberra after moving from QLD. I'm an electrical engineer (Dr Brad) with a full time job. I've lived in share accommodation most of my adult life so know what it takes to make a great share house. Outside of work I enjoy a coffee and keeping fit. Im just a down to earth bloke looking for similar flatmates.
Hi! I am looking to move out of my parents place again. Moved back to Canberra after being in Melbourne for 3 years. I work full time at a law firm and study law at UC part time. When i am home i am studying or cooking. I am looking all over Canberra, i work in the City and Uni is in Belco, but i am living in Jerrabomberra currently. I have a cat (2 years old, lovely, big boy) and also a dog (mini fox terrier, 1 year old, full of energy). Cat is indoors at night, on my bed or the couch and outdoors during the day. Dog is the same, back yard preferably so she can play during the day. i then take her for walks every night and on the weekends. She is trained and doesn't make a mess. Just wants cuddles and to pay tug of war! Looking for a 2-3 bedroom house with ultimately my own bathroom. A house mate that is clean and tidy and doesn't mind if i have my boyfriend over a few nights a week. I am an Australian girl, 23, a hard working professional and will keep the house tidy. I am not a vegetarian but not opposed to someone that is. I am LGBT friendly. Don't mind if you smoke outside. Let me know if you have any questions!
I'm looking for a nice home to share with someone equally as considerate, tidy and quiet at night. I'm a working professional and recently moved to Canberra. I'm reliable with rent & bills, I cook occasionally and keep busy with hobbies and keep fit. I need a LUG or drive way for my car, a largish room for my queen bed, and space for my desk. I'm hoping to share with another professional with standards. I can't live with night shift workers or students sorry. I'm open to an occasional film, drink or share a meal and chat.
Hi all! I moved to Canberra beginning of this year for work and I'm enjoying this city so far! My lease is coming up in August and I'm keen to find a house for myself and my dog, somewhere a bit closer to work than I currently live. I work full time and on weekends you can find me exploring Canberra's hiking trails, pampering my dog or playing video games.

Large bedroom in a newly established sharehouse. Sharing with one professional in her late 20s and an ancient, decrepit cat. The bedroom has built in robes. I’m in the process of furnishing the house, so pretty sparse at present, but will be furnishing over the next month. If you have furniture you want to bring, there shouldn’t be any issue fitting it in. There is off street parking available and a good sized back yard. The neighbourhood is lovely and just a short walk (or stumble) to Kingston and Manuka.
I'm a 27 year old professional who works full time, whilst studying law part-time by distance. In my limited spare time I like to sit back with a good movie, game; but am also keen on a cheeky wine and a chat from time to time.
great furnished 2 bedroom apartment in Narrabundah, recently renovated with near new appliances. Full kitchen set up. 2 cats in the property, both friendly and loves cuddles. lovely 20m sq balcony with a view over towards the airport. Off street, CCTV monitored car parking. Room furniture can be removed if required. Room may also be available earlier.
Hi, I'm a 27yr old graduate architect working full-time in the city. I enjoy creative arts, food, various sports and the outdoors, and love disappearing to go snowboarding most winter weekends. I am easy going, respectful and considerate, and can appreciate quiet nights in, as well as enjoy a night out in town. Ideally looking for something central so i can ride or walk to work. Let me know if i fit in with what you're looking for.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
Two rooms available in a large, homey sharehouse. PLEASE NOTE - I charge a flat rate which includes Netflix, unlimited internet and utilities for both rooms at $230 and $240 respectively. Any potential pets are welcome but would increase rent by $20pw. The place itself is great. It includes ducted heating, dishwasher, wooden floors, a large backyard which is fully secure and suitable for pets, and directly adjacent to beautiful woodlands in Narrabundah. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. Who we are looking for: Our house is an all-female, LGBT friendly space. I am ideally looking for individuals who are employed full-time and not room hermits. The space is really big and there to be used. That being said as I am out a lot, I am also looking for individuals who are independent and happy to do their own thing. Really a balance between someone who is friendly and happy to chat/have the occasion bevvie, but respectful of personal space. Another key criterion is cleanliness. I like to share the cleaning with my housemates and would ideally be looking to clean shared spaces once a week. I'd like housemates who take the initiative to clean without having to be asked - of course this goes for me as well! Think you'd be a good fit for our home? Shoot me a message! To help me get to know you, please include answers to the following questions: 1 - What do you think makes an ideal housemate? 2 - What do you like to do for fun? 3 - What is your ideal weekend?
