I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
Hi! I'm a 21 year old working professional. I currently work full time in Barton and I'm looking for a house share, can be mixed gender, for sometime in early June. I'm flexible on location but preferrably no more than 12-20minutes from Barton. I have no pets either.
The front and back is newly landscaped with a new entertainment deck out the back. Great inner south location, close to Manuka, Kingston and the parliamentary triangle. Large bedroom option of being furnished or unfurnished, own main bathroom, with bath and shower. Room has built in robes. All bills including gas, electricity, water and internet included in rent. Responsible for all own other food and house hold responsibilities.
Hi! My names Martina, I’m 28yrs old and moved to Canberra 18months ago from Queensland. I’m an easy going, quiet and polite person who spends a lot of time at work. I’m respectful of others possessions, belongings and personal space. I’m hoping to find someone with similar traits to live with, who isn’t opposed to hanging out with wine in the evenings or whenever suits.
We have a large unfurnished master bedroom available in our lovely house. This property is a 3 bedroom house situated on a leafy street 5 minutes walk from Griffith shops. Only one other bedroom will be occupied by my partner and myself, meaning the other room is a spare bedroom for when friends/family visit. - The house is fully furnished (TV, kitchen appliances, dining table, etc.), however the bedroom is unfurnished - One bathroom with an additional toilet/powder room downstairs - Modern kitchen appliances - Formal dining area - Two seperate outdoor entertaining areas - Seperate study - Seperate spare bedroom - Timber flooring - Three water tanks, solar panels and a functional fire place (great for Canberra winter!). - Garage not included but plenty of street parking - Bills (internet, gas, electricity - possibly subsidised by solar panels) split equally between the 4 housemates - Washing machine included - Please note we have a dog. Hugo is well-behaved and will be kept outdoors Please feel free to message me if you would like to take a look. I am super flexible with inspection times :)
We are a couple who love socialising and having a good time. We are easy going however we both work quite a bit during the weeks so we like our weekends to chill out. We are looking for someone who is tidy, respectable and easy to get along with. We are super easy to live with and love to have a quiet beer after work. I (Calle) am a second year Social Work student and work casually as a bartender, I’m a home body when I am able to and enjoy cleaning weirdly enough. Craig is a refrigeration mechanic and works quite a bit. I am crazy about plants and we are both suckers for animals. Please if you think you could live with us, get in touch and we can go from there. Thank you!
Private bedroom available in Narrabundah, South Canberra. Beautiful townhouse. Close to shops and public transport. - The room is equipped with a double size bed, beside table with lamp and built-in robe (the room can be empty if you bring your own furniture:) - Nice home to chill and relax after your hard work or study - double car garage and extra storage space, plenty of off-street parking - The house is very clean and quiet - unlimited WIFI internet - Swimming pool in the complex - Close to shops and public transport - short drive away to the Fyshwick Fresh Food Market, Woden town centre, Canberra Centre and the new Red Hill shops
My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
27 male, respectable individual. Working Professional, who mostly keeps it to himself but enjoys casual chats at times. Love star gazing - have my own telescope. Recent engineering graduate, so have been a student myself and I will be great with students. Happy to help with your coursework as well at times ;) just ask me nicely. HaHa
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Hi! I am a 24yo male working full-time as a corporate management consultant. I am social, clean (maybe a bit overly hygienic). Looking for long-term stay, my own bathroom, preferably a garage space. Would like to discuss if pets can be an option for the future :) I am looking to get a doggo.
Hi 47 yr old recently separated country gent. Neat, clean and tidy. Yes I can cook and clean. No pets. Sociable and friendly. Non smoker and rarely drink. Don't have much gear as it was all left with my ex to look after my children. Travel away every other weekend to visit kids.
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing before so I definitely know the dill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka. For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I enjoy watching Netflix after work and enjoy socialising over dinner. :) *must be in walking distance to a bus stop too Lauren x
I am a 25 year old female who is looking for a place to stay long term. I am currently working 4 days a week and studying 1 day a week. I work and study on the North side and am hoping to be closer to both locations. I am clean, respectful and give people their own space, however, I am also happy to have a chat and watch a movie! I am an active person who likes to exercise and volunteer in my spare time.
I am a working professional moving to Canberra in May. I get along well with people and overall a clean and tidy person. I am looking to house share or flat share and prefer the location is close to Canberra Hospital. Rent can be negotiated.
The house is a two-story brand new house in half year old. Totally, five bedrooms, three bathrooms and 4 toilets. The owner live in upstairs, and the two private rooms are available for rent at ground floor. There will be one bathroom and one separate toilet which are specifically to be used by these two private rooms. The rooms are fitted with internal locks.
