Hi I'm Sophie! I'm 33 and work full time as a Graphic Designer. I'm a friendly, neat and tidy low key kind of person. Looking for some friendly cheerful housemates who like a chat but also appreciate down time. I love art & design, Netflix & pizza and wine & chats. I’m usually pretty busy at work during the week, some weekends I’m out and about and others I’m relaxing at home. I have a 3 year old whippet, she's very quiet and fully house trained. It would be great if my future housemate has a dog to keep her company but not a deal breaker. My dog has lived with cats before and is fine with them. She's lazy and very affectionate. Looking for a calm, cheerful, quiet & relaxed house. I’m looking to move March 2018.
Hello! My name is Mary and I am a 27 year old Canadian female looking for an all female flat or studio in the Melbourne area. I am on a 1 year Working Holiday Visa and I just got a job working full time in the finance industry. I love the social aspect of being in a new city! Meeting new people, finding amazing restaurants, and exploring the sites! But I also love just hanging out at home with a good cup of tea and watching some Netlfix! I also LOVE to bake so I hope you're ready to gain a few pounds! ... Or we can go for a run :P (then eat more). Okay so you might be thinking "oh baking can get messy... is Mary a messy person?" Well, organization and cleanliness runs in my blood, so you'll never have to pick up after me. Anyways... that's my short blurb about myself. I hope to meet you soon! :)
Wade and I are both working in the Australian Defence Force. Laura has been living in Perth for the last few years and Wade has been in Sydney. We are both excited for a change in cities and to explore Melbourne together. Because of our roles in the ADF, we are both very active, fit and outgoing young people. Wade enjoys AFL and will be looking at joining a local team once we settle in. Laura is into swimming and surfing so is looking forward to being a short distance from the Great Ocean Road. We are both extremely tidy and respectful people. Being in the ADF we are both used to living in close proximity with others and thrive off new adventures.
hi i am a full time student very friendly quiet person. looking for a room share with a nice bunch of person. I am not a party person but would like to go out occasionally for a movies or long drive. I am very tidy and clean homely kind of person. i have lived in a share house for last for years in queensland recently moved to melbourne. Looking forward to see nice fufture housemates
I enjoy cooking and usually make enough to share. I'm no grease monkey but I love cars. I also enjoy woodwork, hiking, scottish accents, coffee and sketching. I like having people around to talk to but also enjoy my own space. I'm a fairly sensible fella and if I have friends over we won't get rowdy beyond making a bit of noise over a bored game.
Been living in the UK for the last 2 year and have just got a new job in the area. Enjoy travelling and socialising with others but also enjoy a bit of quieter time too. Looking for a furnished room in a flat with similar aged housemates
Clean, I like my privacy and I respect others privacy, I don't mind the occasional party but I have a job that means alot to me so it doesn't happen often, I'm also quiet and can sing fairly well so I can sing to you! I love food and a really good convosation when one sparks up, I'm not a good cook but I do try and experiment so there's always going to be a laugh or two.
I'm a full time student, studying a double degree in Sports Science at Vic Uni and work part time as a personal trainer. I do have children and they’re all in their double digits. I'm active and clean eating guy and just love living the healthy lifestyle. I like to get away hiking and camping. Not a fan of party houses and i rarely drink (I may have a cider from time to time), though can be quite the conversationalist haha. But can also be very quiet 🤫. My options are be close to uni (Footscray) or be close to friends and family (Seaford-aspendale) I would prefer closer to uni. I don't mind having a chat first over a coffee (Mmmm Coffeeee ☕️ 🤤) and see how we get along. I don't mind teaming up with someone and starting a new lease if that's what you're keen on. Dan :)
Very respectful of others' privacy but also amiable and fun to get along with. We are very cleanly and don't like to make a mess. We're the quiet type mainly and we enjoy watching movies and series. We come from two different cultures (Italian and Mexican) that both really enjoy cooking so naturally we enjoy eating and making food. We like to go hiking and explore the surroundings. We enjoy playing music from time to time. We love animals, so we absolutely have no problems being around them in the household. We don't smoke but we enjoy drinking beer occasionally. 😉 We are looking for a room to rent if possible and we are also interested in teamups. 😊
I am an IT professional looking for a great place with good people to interact and learn. I am someone who is clean and hygienic. I like to chat with people but also know when to respect their privacy. Love dogs! If you think you have a place in your home for me, hit me up! Cheers!
I'm Sanjana, an Indian IT professional who's moved to Melbourne from India about 4 months back on PR. Currently working full time as a Software tester. I'm looking out for an apartment/house where I can have my own room, prefarably with an ensuite. I'm keen on a place which is within walking distance to a bus/train/tram station which takes me to the city, since I don't own a car and am heavily reliant on public transport(atleast for now!). Would prefer to live close by to supermarkets, Indian groceries and restaurants too if possible. I'm responsible, clean, not loud, fun loving and game to hang out after work/weekends, but also someone who enjoys alone time and her own space. Love cooking, photography, reading, exploring the city, travelling, finding new places to eat etc.
I'm 20 years old, I'm in my second year of Uni studying a bachelor of Youth Work, at Footscray Park. I have just moved back to Melbourne after living in SA for the last 3 months and I am looking for accommodation near by uni. :) I love travel and being spontaneous, meeting great people is always fun. :) I also work casually at Bunnings.
I'm Matt - I am building my own PR business which I run from home (online, so there will be no clients knocking on the door) and work casual on the side to supplement my income. Also, in pre-production for my original web-based docu series which I hope to be in production by early to mid March 2018 which will and is keeping me reasonably busy. Not a party animal these days (not that I ever really was). And with the exception of work related events, these days I am more for a peaceful quiet home life, open to the occasional home entertaining party but not a big fan of blaring music or TV on a weekend (within reason) I'm clean ...tidy and respectful of others and their property. I am very domesticated and enjoy the occasional drink and chat. I have two maltese x pups, very friendly, non-destructive, quiet and chilled they don't require much space as they tend to only go outside to go to the toilet then spend the rest of the time sleeping in my room...on my bed etc. I suspect they think they are cats. Hmmm lol
I am very laid back and easy to get along with. Enjoy a laugh and generally have a smile on my face. I am polite, tidy, honest, respectful and courteous. Working full time as a secondary teacher fills my days, and when not at work I'm just as happy to socialise, listen to music or curl up with a book or head to the beach. Weekends I'll often visit family and friends or venture out with my camera, mostly to music gigs. I love all animals so if you have some that's quite alright. I have myself listed as a smoker - I smoke outside and am close to quitting!!
I am a disability support worker and studying online. I am an extremely tidy person, I generally get anxious about mess. I am very private and tend to keep to myself and very respectful towards others. I do have a fighter fish named Frankie.
Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hey, I'm Nigel 29, I like a clean house, kitchen and Bathroom especially. Ideally I'd like to get cleaners in twice a month for two hours, clean the place for showers toilets etc.. generally clean as you go is the easiest way to keep the place clean, and cleaners can do the jobs no one wants to, only about $100 a month. Have them in my current place, best thing ever!! Im a carpenter so I work 5 to 6 days a week, I'm Irish, been in Australia since 2011. I rarely drink at home anymore can't be fucked with the mess but I socially drink out and about. I like festivals and doofs. Also a gym close by would be a plus! Respectful to people's personal space and always down for a laugh about the house. I like to meal prep during the week, try to eat healthy during the week, but love a dirty takeaway too! I'd like a place with a bit of storage and internet is a must. Parking also. Ideally I think a team up would be best, there's alot of nice places around just a matter of luck and timming I think. I'm not interested in any old style home, definitely looking for something more modern. If you think any of this appeals to you, hit me up! Cheers PS someone who likes techno would be great, but I love all music(except country)
Hi! Myself and my partner Abbey are looking for a wonderful new place to live. We're both 20 years old and second year uni students. Abbey studies speech pathology at LaTrobe and I study business and sports management at Vic Uni. We both work retail jobs at Pacific Werribee (Abbey is a barista if you're ever in the mood for a decent coffee!). We're both happy, easygoing people who like a mix of socialising and downtime to binge-watch Netflix. We're both big AFL fans, and I'm a pretty big fan of sports in general too. We've always been on time paying rent and bills, and will always be respectful of other people's space. We don't tend to have many visitors aside from the occasional parent delivering food and wisdom (God bless). As part of our package you will also find Evie, our bubbly one-eyed almost-one-year-old kitten. Evie is super friendly and snuggly with people she likes and who like her back (which is honestly everyone), and good with other animals after a couple of days of WWE Smackdown re-enactments... We also have 2 fat guinea pigs, who live in a regularly cleaned cage and love all the fruit and veggie scraps that the world has to offer :) If anyone else with a similar lifestyle is interested in sharing a house with us, drop us a line and we can have a chat! Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm Kira, 21 years, and I have moved to the Melbourne for work. I am tidy, reliable and respect privacy, but also love socializing. Not interested in share rooms at all. Looking in the western suburbs due to the locations of my current job positions. Also looking for a place with two rooms as I have a friend looking with me. PLEASE DO NOT TEXT ME, MESSAGE ME ON HERE AND I WILL REPLY
I am a very clean, organised and easy going person, looking for a place not only to live, but to call home. I am a 32 year old vegetarian woman and I like to spend my free time studying, reading, on the internet or simply having a good red wine accompanied by a nice conversation about any interesting subject, specially arts, music, movies and literature. As a "young old lady" I would prefer to live in a quite, non-party house and with non-smokers. If you think my profile fits to your place, please send me a message. *** PS: I am looking for a really clean and tidy house where people do care about it. Cheers!
