Hi, I'm Lisa and I'm 21 years old. I've just completed my bachelor's degree in Business majoring in International Hospitality Management and Human Resource Management at Victoria University. I work casually at a hotel in the CBD, mainly working 'graveyard' shifts. I plan on pursuing a career in the hotel industry, one day hoping to be within management. I'm originally from the country and grew up on a farm. I've lived in Melbourne for the past three years, first in Footscray and currently in Coburg. I'm an animal lover, I love to cook, read, explore my surroundings, and catch up with friends. I'm a quiet homebody, who is shy at first but once you get to know me, I'm a real chatterbox. I'm not really a club person, I much prefer bars, or even just catching up with friends in general. I have recently taken up going to the gym with some friends as well. I'm straight and a non-smoker. I don't really care what your preferences are in these areas, although I would prefer to live with someone who did not smoke indoors. I have a car in Melbourne so will be looking for a house with a parking spot. I also hope to find somewhere close to public transport, within 30 minutes to an hour distance of the CBD. I'd love to team up with someone ideally, rather than move into an existing lease. However, I'm open to options at this point. My ideal housemate(s): · Looking to rent for at least a year and go on the lease. · Willing to contribute towards furniture. · Clean in our shared spaces. · Working/able to keep up to date with bills. · Happy to have a puppy dog around. · Isn't going to be throwing house party’s all the time. · Someone who is looking to make a new friend 🙂. Food/meals - I mainly organise myself in terms of meals and food. I am however not opposed to shared meals/outings if you like. I eat meat and have no other dietary requirements. Whilst I respect all eating preferences, I would like to live in a household where we can accept one another. Eg. You don't mind that I eat meat and I don't care what you consume (so long as it isn't my food aha). I don't really have any furniture in Melbourne with me, all the places I've lived in so far have come furnished when I moved in. I will be bringing along my own bed/mattress, desk, bookshelves, dresser and tv, but that's about it. I could also potentially buy some furniture off my current flatmates as well if needed. In saying that, I am of course more than willing to contribute to the purchase of furniture. I'm not fussy and am happy with second hand, but well-maintained items. If you have any communal furniture to bring along with you, that would be great! Ollie is my 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier x Fox Terrier puppy. He is house and crate trained, fully vaccinated, and desexed. He can shed a little bit, but that is easily kept on top of with regular grooming and vacuuming of the house. However if you have an allergy to dogs, probably not the best match. He is a playful and sometimes mischievous puppy, but he also loves to curl up on the couch next to you and sleep all day. Ollie has a 'dicky' leg, which means he limps and can't fully extend one of them. This doesn't affect him in any way and he will often get the 'zoomies' to prove it. He has a great temperament with other dogs as well as cats, along with most people in general. He has been around many animals on my parent's farm, as well as socialising at the dog park and dog beach.
Hey, I'm Becca! I'm looking to move into a chill sharehouse with people around the same age as me. I've just moved back to Australia after spending most of this year travelling through Asia and living abroad in New Zealand. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi there, I am Kirsty. I am relocating to Melbourne from a rural town to start my nursing career. I am looking to move in January 2020 as I have permanent work starting in early Feb in Heidelberg. I am easy going, friendly, clean, respectful and quiet. I am moving from a rural town and am looking for friendly housemates and a place to call home as I find my feet and adjust to city life. Also looking for an unfurnished room. If you think I'd be a good fit please feel free to contact me Kirsty :)
Hi, My name is William and I will be working next year at Austin hospital and would like a place to stay for the next 2 years. I am a clean, tidy , easy going individual. I don't have any pets, nor do I smoke, and I generally do not host parties at home.
Hello Flatmates. Retired Pensioner. Always pay. Easy to get on with. Considerate. Quiet. Open to all inquiries and suburbs near those I have listed. In particular I would like 12 months, or even more, in a stable and pleasant household. Are you a fellow pensioner looking to cover some costs or self funded retiree looking to make some extra funds. Maybe you are younger than that and simply need a balanced person to share, be reliable with rent and bills and good to get on with. However all inquiries welcomed from all parties with a view to securing friendly accommodation from a person with a great reference from my last long term landlord....12 years. Cheers and Regards.
I am easy going, friendly. I clean up after myself and enjoy a chat. Originally from Ireland and have been living Melbourne two years now. Looking for a nice place with awesome people
Music instrument teacher who likes long walks on the beach and talking about commitment. I'm a gamer, so If you need a buddy on that 2nd controller I'll be there. I'm not much of a drinker, don't smoke and don't do drugs. I'm pretty clean and tidy, you can count on me to pick up after myself. I do some music and video recording, so may potentially make some noise, but I'm more than happy to work around my flatmates e.g. record when others aren't home.
Easy going, fun loving, avid book reader, can adjust with everything very easily. I have just finished my masters from La Trobe University and currently I work part time in Docklands.
Hi pals. I'm living in Thornbury at the moment, approaching the end of a sublet and looking to stay in this wonderful area. I am a person with care for both people and planet, working part time nursing at the St V's Cancer Centre and one day a week in horticultural therapy with an NDIS provider at Peppertree Place. I garden a lot, tread gently on the Earth, make beautiful things, and bring calm vibes with me. I'm looking for a home that is welcoming, tidy, loved, and fun. I'm a good listener, self-aware, lively, and creative. I am excellent at wiping benches and sweeping floors. I prefer for spaces to be uncluttered and inviting (hello Ms Kondo), and for communication to be clear and timely. I have a collection of about 25 house plants, a beautiful round kitchen table and chairs (optional) and some handy kitchen things. I'm looking to live with housemates who are observant, playful, creative, and mature. Let's talk
I'm looking for a place to stay for one month, during January 2020, to attend a summer school for students in mathematics at La Trobe uni. I've recently finished a Masters degree in Computer science, and work as a tutor in math and computer science at the ANU.
I just recently moved from Sydney. I got a work promotion and I'm looking for a place to stay. I'm working full time in the disability Employment services sector. I assist people with a disability into suitable employment. I'm a fun, kind hearted and warm guy who is very clean and tidy individual. I love sports and I play soccer also love attending soccer and footy matches. Take care and hope to speak to you soon.
I'm in Melbourne for 6 months to work on a project in order to finish my master degree back in Switzerland. I'll be totally new to Melbourne and Australia in general, so I'll want (and be ready!) to discover the country! I'm used to live with flatmates, I enjoy spending some quality time with them, like dinner or apero or hikes, but I also need to have time for myself (and sleep wel :) )
Moved to melbourne 4 years ago from interstate. lived in student accomodation for 2 years followed by 2 years in a shared house with friends from university. Starting a PhD in 2020 as well as working as a sports scientist. Enjoy spending a bit of time outdoors and having a chat when people are around as well as the occasional night out, but equally enjoy my own time and space. looking for a place not too far from Bundoora as this i where i spend most of my time.
Hi, I'm looking for a home with kind housemates, and a lovely backyard to hang out in. I'm a friendly person, but I'm respectful and considerate of the needs and boundaries of housemates in a sharehouse - everyone needs their own space. I'm experienced in sharehousing and I'm responsible and reliable. I'm looking for housemates that I get along with, so that it feels like a home, not just staying in a house. Also I love a peaceful home - I'm not a party person (of course celebrations from time to time are nice). I love: * Staying connected with family & friends * Learning about technology and learning other new skills (I'd love to learn woodworking - I did a beginner's short course last year) * A Netflix binge when I can * Social justice (my background is in community development) * Being outdoors in nature (even lying in the backyard) * Cats 😊

I currently stay in southbank and the travel is killing me. I keep to myself and am quiet most of the time. Tend to like organised surroundings. I cook for mostly myself but open to sharing once in a while as well. I don't have any pets but I'd be thrilled if you do. I do not smoke, I don't mind if you do as long as it's outside. Cheers! KC
