I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. Requiring furnished/partly furnished 'self contained accommodation' including fridge (Not house share). Access to a laundry is preferable. A 58 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and who is clean living, quiet and respectful. Dogs seem to love me too and after all, they are true judges of character ;) Term could be longer than 6 months if it is the 'right' place for me and I am the 'right' tenant for you :) References available on request. I have just got an awesome job in Northland Sc (Great Company) and I currently live in the eastern suburbs. I am looking for a room for 3-4 nights a week if I finish late or start early as the peak hour commute is aweful, taking me well over an hour most days. I’m clean, tidy, respectful and as mentioned wouldn’t be there full time. If you think I’m someone you could help out or you have a place you think I’d like please msg me I’m looking to settle by the end of the month September I have no pets, I don’t smoke and I’m not a party animal.
Hlos, I am Rahul, a super friendly and relaxed IT person from India, who is looking for a new/ share room in the suburbs of Melbourne. Ideally, I am a borderline health freak with a desire to experience many more adventures as hobby. But it is equally true that I am also occasionally a foodie. I love watching Netflix with chips after a long day and cooking or going out during the weekends. As such I am looking for a new place to stay from last week of June and would love to have a face to face chat for a more personal understanding. As I had previously lived in both hostel and share houses I was fortunate enough to make many friends across the globe & also hope to make many new friends in future as well. I would prefer a relaxed and cool house as even though I like to hang out over a glass of wine but I am not a crazy party owl. If you find me good enough as a potential housemate, then please do reply back so that we can chat further Thanks, Rahul
Hi, I'm Theo, female, queer, and 34. I have been a social/environmental activist all my life, but am pretty anti-activist culture these days (specifically I'm not judgemental and am looking for non-judgemental folks to live with). I'm starting a political blog from a radical centrist angle, and work mostly from home. I don't have an income at the moment, but have substantial savings, so no need to worry about me paying the rent. I'm into hanging out with friends, working out, going out dancing, playing table tennis, personal development, serious and light hearted chats, netflixing, keen to get into skateboarding and parkour soon. I'm looking for a place that's relaxed, friendly, clean, non-communal (although I'd be into sharing meals occasionally if it feels right), meat friendly...
Would have loved to have stayed where I currently am, but the landlord is selling up and moving on, and so I will have to move on as well by early November this year at the latest. I would dearly love to find a place that has either a garage or workshop as I am dying to start my blacksmithing hobby. I dont smoke. I rarely drink. I am not vegan. I do not identify as being LGBTIQ+ but dont have issues whatsoever with those who do. I work full time as a hospital orderly during the day mon -fri. I dont have pets but dont have issues with those who do I try to be as low impact on other people and the environment as i can be. Am happy to help clean, or pay for a cleaner in addition to my rent. Um, if you would like to know more feel free to message or sms or phone me :)
Hello. I am respectful, quiet and tidy. I expect private space and return. I'd love to share my time with housemates on weekend sometimes like cooking together and a movie or playing some games for fun.
Hi, I'm a generally laid-back but clean person, and am friendly and open-minded so we should be able to get on. I work two jobs, half the time as a sound engineer, and the other half as a dance teacher. I originally come from Shepparton and moved to Melbourne in 2014 to study audio production at uni, and have been here since then. I'm into making (respectfully volumed) music, playing games (video, board, and otherwise), and listen to a lot of podcasts.
I am a 35 yo girl working almost fulltime in Melbourne. I am neat, quiet and peaceful. I pay my rent on-time. Pls leave your email address if you have an earlybird account. I prefer to share with female housemate(s). Also prefer the house to be near Aldi, Woolworth, Coles or a shopping center. I don't smoke, have no pet(though i love them) and I don't party if it bothers my housmates. I dont have a car yet usually travel with my bike or public transport. Please txt me if you have a room suitable for me. Cheers Maryam
Hello! My name is Tom, I'm a male 31 year old non-smoker who has finally escaped Sydney I am looking for like minded people with a room available for October. Melbourne born and raised. i’m likable, fun and a nerd in many ways. I no longer able to survive the hangovers from crazy partying, so I won’t be stumbling home at 3am every Saturday or Sunday (maybe just once in a blue moon). Instead I prefer catching up with friends, trying out a new restaurant or having a nice glass of wine whilst watching Netflix. In all honesty, I get along with pretty much everyone so as long as we click, the rest is pretty much filler. I also love learning about new things music, fashion, art, nerd stuff and even sport. I enjoy the challenge. In short, it’s nice to meet you.
28 year old who just decided to go back to uni to do a masters in Finance and International Business. I've been doing farming/ginning for the past 10 years off and on so finally made the decision to do something different. I am originally from Bourke but moved around heaps since then. Currently I'm living in Carrathool working at a cotton gin. Been in the area off and on for a few years now. Been overseas for a lot during that time as well. So I will be studying fulltime at La Trobe (3 years) and will hopefully find a part-time job just to help with the cashflow. Anyways very easygoing laid back guy. In the past few years, traveling has been a big part of my life so been doing that, seeing the world. I've done the proper backpacking thing with hostels to couch surfing to staying in one place and working. I don't mind a beer or two but enjoy pubs over clubs. And enjoy a wine too. Going to a place with live music is a plus! I enjoy just hanging out at home just as much too or doing something a bit different. Always up for a little adventure. Concerts, road trip, camping, sports, walking down the street, parks ect. I'm a sociable friendly guy who can always be up for a chat or hanging out, but will be honest, I enjoy my own time just as much. Nothing against you, just like to recharge the battery if you know what I mean. So yeah my work schedule will be pretty busy throughout the week with studying and working. But just looking for a place where I can come home to and can relax and feel like it's a homey down the earth relaxed environment. No drama or stress. I'm very open minded and considerate and can adapt to most situations and environments. Of course would be good to find housemate(s) that I get along with and can become mates with and not just a shared house kind of thing.
hi, I`m Tenille, looking for a place closer to work. I`m pretty quiet, i`m at work a lot but always happy to have a drink and talk when I`m not, I do a lot of sewing and embroidery when I have some time and love animals and plants .
Hi ya, my lovely fiancé Inka and I are heading to Australia at the beginning of October and we're looking for a room that we both can stay in. We are a young couple (25 and 28 years of age) from Germany and we want to make the most of our Work & Holiday Visa starting off in Melbourne where we planning to stay until Mid-/end-January. We're two colourful, easy going and tidy individuals who are respectful towards other people and their belonging since we both need a certain harmony around us. If you can imagine giving us a chance and if you have any further questions feel free to ask! We are looking forward to hearing from you soon :-) Cheers, Inka & Mathias
I'm a country girl from South Australia and have been living at my current place in Doncaster for 3 years, but the property is being sold. I'm a mature age student studying full-time at Latrobe and a qualified teacher, teaching part-time at St Helena's SC. I have an adorable 4 y.o., fully trained, female, (inside) pug. I need to bring my own furniture and/or have a place to store it. I have everything, but can store unnecessary items. I'm quiet and spend most of my time working and studying, but I don't live/hide in my room. I'm easy going, like to have fun, am considerate and respectful. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. If I find the right place I can move out as early as 22-30 Sept, or as late as 27 Oct - end of November (end of Oct/start of Nov is preferable).
I am Dino, a postgraduate research student at LTU When it comes to renting places, I always make a point to be respectful of other people's spaces and things, which includes keeping tidy and keeping the noise level not as intrusive. I am easy to approach and deal with and enjoy occasional conversations. I spend much of my time reading or watching short vids. I like good coffee and I occasionally cook.
Looking for somewhere pet friendly as I have a 3 yo Labrador (best if he’s the only pet tho). Max spend $230/week. I work in Fitzroy so preferably not too long of a commute from there. I’m not someone who goes out every weekend, more into hanging at home watching Netflix. I’d like a house where everyone is friendly and likes to cook dinner together occasionally but also understands everyone needs ‘me’ time. I’ve been renting for over 5 years now and have never paid my rent late. My own room may get a bit messy but I always keep communal areas clean and tidy :) I also have quite a bit of furniture and things like fridge, washing machine and dryer so can help out with furnishing and don’t need a room that’s already furnished.
A brown Bangladeshi girl who is fun loving and hates to stay messy. Studying full time at La Trobe University , Bachelor of IT. I am a calm morning person, Looking for a place where I can get a good friendly environment but I respect other's privacy as well. Willing to stay nearby any station with is max 15 min from city or any place from where PT goes straight to city and LA TROBE UNIVERSITY, BUNDOORA
Originally from a small coastal town in WA, I'm a PhD student (in Italian) at La Trobe. I'm a marathon/trail runner and vegan who loves yoga, coffee dates, early mornings and bouldering. During the week I'm at uni all day everyday but on the weekends I spend my time adventuring, cooking, reading, market-hauling and exercising. I enjoy my personal space and quiet time, but I would also be up for having dinner parties or picnics with house-mates and having the company of like-minded people. I will be going home for the holidays so looking to move in at the start of January✌️
Hi I'm a sociable person but not nosy and know a when to give space. I am a team player and neat and tidy. I am a nerd so I enjoy watching anime reading comics and playing games. I am laid back and not too fussy on everything. I pay rent on time and bills. I work as a part time receptionist so am I have flexible hours and won't overcrowd the place. I am looking for a place which isn't a party house as I am past that phase but I do drink and enjoy the occasional wine and beer after work.
Hey friends, Boring things: I work as a teachers aide, but I also do some work in before and after school care for some extra cash! I also compete and coach in calisthenics. I study education at Deakin part time. I'm looking to live somewhere where I have friends for housemates, rather than people who just coexist as I've experienced that before and it was not fun! Fun things: I'm a pretty funny person pretty much all of the time, love some bants. I am a big fan of AFL, calisthenics, reading, socialising, napping, running, animals, bad jokes, dad jokes (are they the same thing?), bad singing, netflix and eating. I'm v clumsy. I come with a boyfriend so he'd be around sometimes, I also come with a digital piano (if there is room) because I play. Obviously. I'm also hearing impaired, you can be as loud as you like while I don't have my hearing aids in (sleep and shower time) and I'd be oblivious.
Professional, in management in the not for profit health sector. I have relocated to Melbourne from NSW, my family will join me at the end of the year. I am very easygoing, independent, and generally work a lot but I like catching up with friends for dinner and seeing bands when I get downtime.
Hi future houseys, My name is Shauna, I’m 26 years old and work as a Registered Nurse. I’m looking for a new humble abode to call home. I’m house trained and come with some great cooking skills (more than welcome to share those skills). I am currently very invested in the Bachelor, I love going out on adventures on the weekends, brunch, coffee and the occasional glass of vino. If this sounds like a good fit. Be sure to send me a message. All the best, Shauna
Ideally looking for a TEAM UP as i have my own gear and furniture. I enjoy company, social and active but like quiet time too. Have been living in my own place for 18 mths but would like to move closer to city such as Darebin area. I'm a bit eco minded so i would ideally like some garden / veggie beds. I play tennis, enjoy yoga and meditation. Love dogs but don't own one. Are you a bird lover? I have a small parrot currently. I'm allergic to cats. (PS I'm not looking for a boyfriend, just a house mate)
