Hi there! I'm making the move to Melbs in a couple of weeks. New start, new life. I'm a writer but will be getting a little job to fill in the gaps. I have many strong ties to the artistic and performing arts community in melbourne. I'm very tidy, do my share of the cleaning and i happen to cook like a boss. I'm up for a good chat or I'm happy to keep to myself. Not too fond of a loud environment because I'm pretty chilled. Cheers, Lou

Hi, URGENT ACCOMODATION NEEDED ... CAN YOU PLEASE HELP I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom but that is not a deal breaker ceiling fans and or aircon would be nice. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot on the film late 2017 if I can raise the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home hence the study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio, looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a nine year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am needing to move ASAP . Cheers Peita:)
I've just moved to Melbourne from North Queensland with a new job as a teacher. I'm very independent. Happy to ensure others are okay living in the residence and respect their privacy. I keep the place clean. If you have animals, that's a bonus for me as I love animals! Cheers
Hey hey :) Im a friendly, easy going chick that enjoys working and living a simple life. I've got a pretty good sense of humour and tend to joke around once you get to know me. I see the positive side in the majority of things. Also having an understanding and respect of privacy as well as each individuals life style is really important. So living with a like minded person is a must. I'm currently living in Pascoe Vale and looking for a change. I do have a tv, with a cabinet that it sits on as well as a couple of bed side tables and looking to buy a new queen sized bed. So I'd prefer a room that could accommodate that furniture. (Though i can be flexible with the bed depending on the quality). I tend to keep to myself after work as I get pretty tired, though im easy to have a chat with. Im a traffic controller so I usually work big hours Monday to Friday and some weekends. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating with the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally, I'll do my share and a good job at that! :) Having my own bathroom is preferred aswell. Im preferably looking to find a place that's got the rent and utilities included together. I've grown up being efficient with my usage, so I don't see it fair to pay for others excessive usage. I will give you peace of mind with my usage :) Also I'm a really big animal lover, so if you have any pets I'll be happy to have them around :) :) 💜 Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Hi my name is Melinda or (Mel) Me - Big move back from living in London for the past 12 years and resettling in the northern areas of Melbourne. I'm starting a brand new job within the healthcare industry middle of February and looking for a room in a house share with a like minded person or people! I originally grew up in the country and my parents breed horses they live in East Gippsland. I go and visit them when I have free time. Plus I have two sisters - one lives on the Mornington Peninsula and one in Bundoora. Prior to living in London (Uk) I lived in Melbourne so have a circle of friends to catch up with. I like going out to explore my surrounds and what this great city has to offer. I have a car I don't smoke I have lots of furniture (if need be) I plan on buying my own place in the next 12 months. I'm looking for a friendly non party style abode to call 'home' for a while to re calibrate into my new Melbourne life! I am free to view rooms from 29/1 on wards Looking forward to hearing from you Melinda (Mel)

My books, my plants and myself are looking for place to share with fun, open-minded, respectful people who are used to share space. I'm studying and teaching french for a living. French is my native language and even though I've been in Australia for ages my choice of words appears to be a fairly good source of entertainment.
My partner and I are looking for a short term place to live for the summer holidays. We are looking for a place near the city or 30-50 minutes transport ride to the city would be okay too. We are easy going people who enjoy to have a chat, tidy and enjoy getting out of the house.

I'm simple. I keep to myself and respect peoples privacy. I understand that my wants or needs aren't everyone elses, which i display by respecting others and what requirments they expect when choosing a housemate. I am a peoples person so i am easy to get along with and will not be a home body as my work is generally based away from melbourne. I also have a consistent income, i hope that helps my house mates in the sense that they wont need to constantly be on my back about rent not being paid on time. That will definitely not happen,
Exercise and health fanatic! Absolutely love animals - I have a little puppy who is well trained and is an indoor and outdoor dog. I work as a personal trainer. Love camping, hikes, dancing, socialising, reading, photographing, yoga, music and travelling amongst other things. I'm generally quite a neat person, but not OCD about it. Life has its busy moments! I'm a full time worker- stock standard Monday-Friday 9-5 sorta thing, with a dog! She's a gorgeous kelpie mix, and she's really well trained including toilet training, and loves other dogs, people and co-exists really well with my housemates cats. A bit about me- I've been living in share houses for the last 5 years, so I'd like to think I'm pretty respectful! I keep it low key and quiet through the week, but I would like to live in a house where we can have a chat or cook a meal etc through the week. I'm happy to keep to myself but I think it's better when everyone's comfortable and gets along! My weekends vary, but whatever I do through the day I try to take Koda with me. PREFER TO LIVE WITH NO CATS, might consider well trained outside dogs ONLY but i am not the caretake or babysitter. I am also interested in Teamups, including respectable and considerate couples, happy to sign a lease agreement and flexible with rent. I do require car parking. I have everything to dress a large house expect for your own room. I have a small dog, recently adopted, so I am interested in finding a house that is pet friendly! I have been in a fair few sharehouses and have a few bits of large furniture which I am more than happy to contribute to make a new place feel like home. That includes couches, a washing machine and lots of other stuff. Hope to hear from you!

Hi, I'm Julia and I've just moved to Melbourne from Christchurch, New Zealand. After 4 years of full-time training, I'm super excited to take up an apprenticeship this year with a ballet company based in Eltham. I was really sad to leave my lovely flat in NZ after a year, but I've been assured that my baking, cleaning, and tea-making skills will never be replaced! Ballet is a massively important thing in my life, but I love finding time for other things like baking, reading, and crafty stuff. I'm tidy and respectful but am always up for a good yarn, and am really looking forward to finding a place to call home :)
