Friendly and food motivated! Love to share a meal with housies when possible. I work for a non for profit in advocacy and family therapy. Really love my job and it keeps me quite busy throughout the week. I like to get outdoors whenever possible and would prefer a glass of wine and card game over “going out”. I’m looking for house mates that are clean but easy going. Some down to earth people that are happy to share some chats, music, and a beer after work when we can. I take pride in my home and hope my housemates would too. 🌵🌴🌞🏡 I hope to bring my beautiful Nanna cat. She has moved around Australia and Tasmania with me over the last 3 years. She is the snuggliest and sweetest.
Born and bred in Launceston, I have recently lived away from Tasmania whilst working on festivals, but now my career in events and entertainment has brought me to Hobart for an exciting role in music programming. As someone who is professional, respectful, and honest, I am looking for a considerate household where housemates keep shared spaces clean, are mindful of privacy and noise when required, and are generally decent human beings. I like my home to be my sanctuary - it is where I come to relax, restore, and be productive. I like to socialise, but nearly always do so out of the house. I regularly attend gigs and go out for meals and drinks. At home, I like to listen to music, sing, play cello, practice yoga, and sunbathe. I have a great focus on sustainability, aiming for a low-waste and vegan lifestyle. Living with people that share these values is preferable, but not imperative. Laughing at my terrible dad jokes is a plus, but I will also accept looks of disapproval and face-palms.
Friendly, easygoing, well-travelled. Enjoy a mix of going out, exercising and staying home, pretty normal!? I've experienced various sharehouse dynamics and have become friends with most of my housemates. I don't know many people in Hobart so a sociable household would be nice (I'll have my own things going on though). Into wine, music, cooking, hiking, yoga. I used to own a wine bar, about to launch a new business as a coach. My budget is flexible. Looking at $200 - 300.
I'm a business man aged 63 and looking for accommodation.I am a confectionery, gourmet and grocery wholesaler supplying the Hill Streets, IGA's and smaller specialised shops. I have been in business for 35 years.I love cooking and I usually cook up a good meal as I have plenty of condiments to choose from. I like a wine whilst cooking but I'm not into parties. I'm away every 4 weeks doing the shops in the north of the state. You can call me on Mo 0432 128 307. I can also give you references from the Air BnB's where I stay in Burnie and Launceston.
We are looking for a two room house, or two rooms in a share home. I am a quiet, respectful, friendly introvert who will spend most of her time curled up quietly reading, drawing or netflixing on the couch or in my room. I have a lot of house pride and will work hard to create and maintain a beautiful home and garden (I can also supply all furniture and white goods). I am currently creating a career in environmental science, and am employed at the University of Tasmania. I am considering going back to University to do my Honours next year. LGBT+, vegetarian. Hamish is a Business Student who enjoys playing guitar, gaming, and cooking in his rare down-time.
I am a HR professional relocating to Hobart from Hong Kong. I lived in Brisbane for a few years while studying for my degree at the University of Queensland. I am very easy going and friendly. I'm a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I am looking for a share house that is close to the city. I am open to live with dogs as I am a dog person.
Hey! I have been living in Coles Bay for the past couple of years and have just accepted a guiding job in Hobart. My partner of 5 years will still be living up the coast so I'll be heading back there for my days off most weeks. I'm into the outdoors, hiking, diving and fishing and plan to get into some new hobbies when I get to Hobart. I love to cook and really enjoy sharing meals and experiences with other people and cultures. I'll be doing big hours and working weekends, I'm more into relaxed socializing and outdoor activities as opposed to partying. Ideally I'd be looking for somewhere to stay up until the end of April and am happy to sign onto a 6 month lease provided everything's a good fit! If you have pets that's a bonus for me too. Thanks for reading and shoot me a message if you have any other questions!
My name is Nicole, I am originally from Melbourne. I am 23 and about to start my PhD at UTAS in Hobart town. I am looking for either a room in an established shared house or someone to team up with. I am looking to move in by mid October. I currently may have a potential 2 bedroom apartment in Blackmans bay as a friend is looking to break her lease. I was looking to find someone to rent the place out with. The place is unfurnished but comes with all the essential appliances (washer, fridge, tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave). There are two bus stops within 2 minutes walking and it is a $375/week rent (shared equally, so $188/week per person, bills not included). We would have to apply through the agent ourselves. Individuals and Couples welcome (However, if a couple, you would have to be open to splitting the rent three ways). If I am unable to find someone to team up with, I am looking for a room in a shared house. My budget is up to $200 a week but the cheaper the better :) A little bit about me as a housemate/person: I am a very chilled and laid-back person (not interested in meaningless dramas). I am not a super clean freak and my room may get a little messy sometimes, but I always keep my communal areas clean. I like to have a housemate I can be friends with and happy to have people over for cute boardgames/sleepover nights with friends.
I’m looking for a place in Hobart. I work in hospitality due to I love talking and interacting with people. I have lived in New Zealand for 7 years before I came to Australia! I’m very friendly and very easy going :) I’m a clean freak just putting it out there haha I just need a furnished room near hobart! I don’t prefer living right in city. I will have my car with me so it would be good if the suburb is about 15-30mins max to Hobart city. :)
Hello! I'm Clare, I'm a mature student at UTAS and I also work for the university. I like to cook, run and sing (not at home!) and try to live sustainably where I can. I'm a tidy, responsible and friendly housemate; I like my quiet time but also enjoy sharing a cuppa or occasional meal. I'll be moving at the end of November and I'm looking for a room in a house with a kindred spirit or two; or a studio or granny flat.
