Hi there, my name's Ben and I'm 24 and originally from Sydney. I moved down to Tassie for full time work back in May, and my job can keep me for long hours at times. I'm also not home a lot during the week with various sporting commitments like soccer and touch footy. I love sport, especially basketball and soccer, and spend a lot of my free time either playing sport, going to concerts and festivals or just relaxing with some mates and a few beers. I'm pretty laid back and like to keep to myself for the most part, but also don't mind a social chat or shared meal. I've been living in Lenah Valley but have been back home in Sydney for a couple of months during the pandemic. I've found myself in a situation where I now have to move out in mid-November, but with the quarantine situation I won't be able to get back to Tasmania for a few weeks, so digital inspections are all I can commit to for now. Ideally I'd be looking for a 3-6 month stay due to uncertainty around my long-term future in Hobart.

Hi, I’m Grace! I’m 19 and am currently working in Disability Support and also slowly getting back into my Job as a deckhand on the Pennicott Wilderness tours! I love all things outdoors, particularly Sailing and rock climbing but I also love bushwalking and gravel biking too! I am friendly and easy to get along with and am clean and tidy! I have left leaning views and am passionate about environmentalism and climate activism! I am looking for a share house with friendly and fun housemates preferably youngish, would love to be in riding distance of the city or shops but I’m not overly fussed, if the place is right it’s right!

Looking to move in 11 Oct. I'm moving from Perth to Tassie, and I'm looking for a room to rent as I study flight instruction full time at Cambridge airport for 4-5 months. Ideally I'd like to stay somewhere for 2-4 weeks before renting for longer so that I can meet my housemates in person, but I'm also open to meeting over Skype and moving in directly. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful of your space. I don't mind hanging out or having a drink or two on the weekends, but as my course will be quite intensive I'll probably be studying a lot. I love going for hikes, learning about analogue photo development, getting out into nature, binging my favourite tv shows and travelling! I'm keen to get to know Tassie a little better so I'd love to do a road-trip or two while I'm living there. I'm looking for friendly housemates and an easy-going household. A desk and chair in the room would be ideal :-)

Hi everyone, in the process of relocating down to beautiful Tasmania (would have been May if not for Covid). I work full time for a not for profit organisation based just outside Hobart, so looking for a room in a share house anywhere around there. I think I’m pretty chilled and always up for a chat but do like my downtime as well. If the house has a dog that would be a bonus. I enjoy the great outdoors/camping/gym and look forward to exploring all Tas has to offer. I’m bringing all my worldly possessions with me so would need a bigger room and possibly some storage space for some of my gear (large tool box, push bike etc) *update- I have arrived in Hobart after 2 weeks hotel isolation. I’ll see everyone soon :)

I'll be moving to Hobart in 2021 to study full time at UTAS doing a Bachelor of Media and Communication and am looking for some like-minded people who either already have a room for me or would be interested in finding a place together that is within an accessible distance to UTAS. I like having some time to myself but also more than happy to come together and hang out. I'm easy going and relatively clean and am a vegetarian, wanna go vegan. I'm an avid writer, reader and photographer and also enjoy digital art, will be 18 when I move in. I'm hoping to bring my little 8 year old rescue pup with me so my fellow roommates must be dog lovers and obviously the property must also be pet friendly.

Hi there, I'm a writer currently doing a PhD in Creative Writing and tutoring at the University of Tasmania. I'm friendly, easygoing and keep a clean, tidy house and garden. My two great loves are books and animals; my dear old toy spoodle, Dottie (quiet, well-trained, non-shedding and good with other dogs), will be coming with me but when we're not out and about she mostly likes to stay in my room.

I am seeking a Tasmanian base over Xmas and New Year from which to explore and contribute to your and world culture. I 'live' worldwide. That means with family, friends, sharing, by myself in homes, homesits, homestays, airbnb, hostels etc. I have a personal pension from which I volunteer my professional environmental and sustainability services and help people wherever I go. Mainly online as a digital nomad. I am very interested in cultural and community interconnectedness, enjoy the arts and outdoor activities and maintain a healthy way of life. I am easy to live with: worldly (about 80 countries), versatile, adaptable, self-reliant and positive. Indeed, I practice what I preach and integrate well! For example, in 2019 over 9 months in South America, I lived with locals and built biocapacity on 20 projects. Now in Brisbane I am waiting for borders to open while working across Oceania and in SEAsia. For example, the photo is while book packing for Books4PNGKids, a NFP that advances Pacific Island literacy by reusing pre-loved Aussie books. I have visited Tasmania twice and am now looking forward to a longer stay. I am interested in: 1) negotiating a broad definition of sharing that I'm used to, e.g. sharing meals, cooking, chores, knowledge-broking, host/cohost, pet care, garden/home maint etc and 2) testing the agreement before committing to a lengthy stay. For example, currently I am homesitting a friend's 3 bed Queenslander in CBD Brisbane over 8 months: caring for the home and maintaining its prolific garden.
