Hi :-) Studying full time as a design/ business student and work part time in retail. I'm laid back, very easy to get along with, respectful and tidy. I'm into fashion, music, keeping active, anything outdoorsy and anything creative! I like relaxed nights in but also love a night out to have a boogie and be social.
Clean and respectful! I am looking for somewhere that feels like home and I believe a beautiful space and lovely people around you can do just that. I work full time and love hanging out with my friends so a lot of the time I may not be around but when I am, I am up for a chat over a glass of wine but also happy to give you your own space.
Hi! I'm Dan, originally from Adelaide I moved to Brissy 1 year ago and i'm in the final year of my masters degree. I work part-time teaching first aid to pay the bills etc. I have a pretty laid back lifestyle and stopped partying long ago, but don't mind a couple of quiet drinks on occasion. Apart from that, I go to the gym religiously, meal prep once a week (so im not always hogging the kitchen!), I play guitar (but only at a reasonable volume and reasonable time), but am generally pretty busy with work, uni and other commitments. I've lived in a variety of housing situations before, from sharing to backpacking to renting my own rooms out, so I know what makes a space great to live in; consideration and mutual respect - so ideally am seeking housemates with similar qualities. Love a good chat but also equally enjoy privacy as I need it. Especially appreciate people who clean up after themselves :)
Hey! I’m Ned, a down to earth, easy going, open minded guy. I work full time from monday to friday, and try to stay fit in the afternoons. Fairly routine orientated during the week but on weekends you can usually find me riding, hiking, enjoying a drink or just straight up relaxing. Slightly introverted but don’t mind partying every now and then. Originally from Coffs Harbour, I’ve been in Brisbane for roughly 1 year now. I’ve been told that I’m pretty cruisy to live with, I always clean up after myself and pull my weight around the place. My only major requirement is somewhere under cover to park my road bike such as a garage, carport, etc. I’m currently living with two friends, but they have both just recently acquired love interests who are here a lot and the place is becoming cramped. Just chasing a change and bit more space really. Cheers!
Canadian looking to setup shop in Brisbane for a while. Actively looking for work in Brisbane as well. I'm a social person and always up for anything fun. Clean, tidy, and respectful of people's personal space.
Starting school in UQ for my postgraduate study coming February. Looking for a place to stay in the vicinity of the university. I am from India but I do speak English, quite fluently :D. I'm a clean and tidy individual who has lived in shared apartments before. Huge football (soccer) fan with a love for singing, running and bingeing on TV shows and movies. My ideal scenario is one or two flatmates, preferably UQ students. Looking forward to having a great time in Brisbane.
Hi! Hope you're having a great day. I'm a 29 year old Dutchie who's been in Aus for about two years now and I am looking for a share house in a central location in Brisbane. Was looking to move halfway February as I will start my new job (within the same company) then, but am flexible with the moving date. I've lived together with housemates for about 6 years now and would describe myself as an easy going happy housemate who loves to socialise but is also able to entertain herself. I'm clean and quiet, and sleep with earplugs so nothing other than my alarm wakes me up. When I'm not working, I love to cook, have drinks and good talks with friends (or housemates!) and go on hikes and explore. I have a very kind and well mannered cat who I'm looking to take with me. He's an outside cat and he sleeps in my room at night. Think I could be your next housemate? Message me, I'd love to hear more! :)
Hey, I'm Takura who is a bubbly and sociable person who is always up to have a friendly chat. I am fully capable to cook and clean for myself. I really enjoy my own time but are also looking for roommates who would like to be friends and occasionally be keen to have drinks and chill. I recently moved to Brisbane for uni from a small beachy town, so I’m still relatively adjusting to the city life. I am looking to move around end of mid/end of Feb, if you are looking around those dates as well then don't be afraid to hmu if interested. Only looking to share a house with female roommates also if you have any pets they will definitely be welcomed :)
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment once i have moved to the area. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
Hey, I’m Ed and I’m looking for a place in Brisbane to move into when my current lease ends at the beginning of Feb. I have a part time retail job where I work 4+ days a week. I also do freelance Graphic design work in my spare time, and am aiming to really start up my career in the industry this year. I’m an easy going guy who can get along with pretty much anyone. I love going to gigs and hanging out with friends, and enjoy watching Netflix and playing PlayStation in my free time. I’m very flexible in terms of living situations. I’m a neat and tidy guy who always cleans up after myself. I always pay my rent on time and have no problems with splitting utility bills. I also have everything I need for a bedroom, so an unfurnished room is no issue. Also open to teamups :)
**The property is available from Wed 23rd Jan. My friend Roxane and I have a room available, with built-ins and ceiling fan, and are looking to to team up with one other person in sharing a place we have been APPROVED for in Camp Hill, one of Brisbane’s inner suburbs. It is a nice quiet area on the south east-side of Brisbane. The property is only 15 mins drive to the CBD, close to local shops, the quaint cafés of Martha St (only a short walk away), and only a few mins drive to Westfield Carindale. The home is a well maintained modern style townhouse, with 2 bathrooms, air conditioning, beautiful open plan living and kitchen area, and a generously sized deck. Whilst the garage is occupied by my and Rox's vehicles(rent amounts fairly reflect this), there is very easy and available street parking immediate next to the driveway. Between Rox and I, we have most of the house hold items, i.e., couch, fridge, microwave, we are acquiring a washing machine once we have moved in (unless you bring one with you). I also have a spare bed available should you require one. Rox (Profile- https://flatmates.com.au/F2072769) and I are in our mid thirties and are past the hectic ‘party stage’ but always look forward to a lighthearted catchup over a relaxed drink; (especially in Rox’s case) a decked-out cheeseboard. Rox enjoys the great outdoors when she can (is an avid hiker & scuba-diver); I also love a 4WD adventure (just love motorsports in general) and an active lifestyle, so you can expect us to be out and about experiencing all life has to offer! Our ideal flatmate is a happy and very respectful individual; some who is easy-going and down-to-earth. Extremely important is their cleanliness and tidiness - both Rox and I are adamant on cleaning up after ourselves. We both also appreciate mindfulness around energy usage - we try to minimise ours for cheaper utility bills as well as a healthier environment. We are looking for someone who is happy to commit to at least a minimum of 6mths with name on the lease. If you feel like you’d make a good fit, please feel free to contact either of us. We look forward hearing from you!! Speak soon! Phil
Hi my name is Olivia and I am a full-time lawyer in Brisbane CBD. I am looking to share a flat with someone who isn't a party animal during the week as I will be pretty exhausted everyday. Weekends will be spent socialising with friends, spending time with my boyfriend or drinking wine to wash away the working week. I enjoy cooking and I keep healthy and clean. I am a tidy person who respects others space and privacy. Let me know if you think we would click!
My name is Emma i work full time in administration and enjoy going to the gym spending days at the beach. Ive been living in Brisbane for 1 and a half years, im easy going and like to have a laugh but also like my down time. I dont have any pets but would like to eventually have a small dog. Looking for like minded person to share a place with. I already have furniture so anyone looking to team up to find a place would be perfect. Would be looking to move around mid April.
I've been living in a unit in New Farm for three years but so sad to leave this place as the owners plan to move in and renovate the unit when the lease is up plus my flatmate of three years just moved up to Cairns for a new job so I guess it is about time to find a new place :) - About me: I'm considered, clean and tidy and a house-proud person (minimalist) - so I hope to live with another like-minded person :) I get up early trying to hit the gym most mornings before going to work. On weekends, I love going to the Powerhouse markets, catching up with friends and road-tripping to Byron-Lennox Head. If I'm at home, either tidying up our space or watching Netflix. Oh, I do enjoy cooking and taking food photos which means you will get to try those fancy Thai dishes :D - I work as a sessional academic while completing my PhD in marketing so I'm super busy as I have to teach and work on my research during the weekdays. I enjoy socialising and also like a bit of downtime too but I don't mind the occasional glass of wine - however I'm out a bit but not a party animal since my partying days are behind me so not looking for a place that has something happening all the time. - Ideally, I'm looking for a place with a bright and breezy homely feel and a room that can fit my queen bed. I also have a light grey couch, healthy indoor/outdoor plants (insta-worthy), a Mastholmen love seat and its side table - more than happy to take these with me if there is enough space otherwise I will donate/sell them. - Feel free to message or text me if you feel like we could get along well :) Preferred move-in date: anytime after mid January and happy to be on the lease, we can discuss later.
Hiya! I’m an English Australian nurse moving back to Brisbane at the end of January. I’m an easy going hard working professional that enjoys outdoor adventures and a few beers during down time. I’m also a non smoker.
Do you know the real reason dinosaurs have short arms? So everything they hold is close to their heart! That's right - I'm curious do you like the odd punny joke and the odd dinner, or cuppa, or beverage at home? Are you a quality human looking for another quality human to join your home sweet home, hopefully long term! I am a little bit of a social butterfly and love to go to dinner, movies, picnics, and Latin dancing occasionally! I keep housey spaces tidy and like to cook something yummy occasionally! I am a personal carer in aged care and a jewellery Spruiker on the odd weekend. My kitty Coco is 9 years old and the chillest and kindest cat ever. She is super well trained! How much do you reckon I'd be an awesome housemate ?! Look forward to hearing from you soon!!
Hey I'm Maddie :) I'm looking to move out late Feb. I'm a uni student who works part time. I love anything vintage/plant/dog/music related! I'm pretty relaxed and don't mind a good chat, but still appreciate some time to myself. Looking to move in with easy-going, but also well-organised and respectful roommates.
Hey there I'm Stephmo. First thing's first; I'm not looking to move right away. I'm currently renting my own place and my lease is up in June. Basically I've decided I'm spending way too much money on rent and I'd also really like to have more people around and establish more of a social life in Brisbane (I have only been here a few years). So I know this is REALLY EARLY to post this ad, but I thought no harm in case someone was in the same boat as me! About me: I'm a queer non-binary person, aka I don't identify with being either a man or woman. (Flatmates only gives two options for gender on the set up page and that definitely needs to be updated!) So please, if you have any streak of homophobia, anti-feminism, racism or wish to enforce binary gender stereotypes, please move right along! I'm super keen to meet more queer/LGBTIQA+ folks in Bris also! Now that we've got that stuff out of the way, let's talk real house biz. I have a 5yo dog, Jedda. She was a rescue dog and has issues socialising with other dogs/animals, so in light of this it's important for me to find a place where people understand this. She is absolutely not able to be around cats, but I am open to introducing her to some dogs provided they are not aggressive in any way with other dogs. Jedda sleeps and hangs out inside when I'm home, but needs a secure backyard for when I'm out. And to clarify, she is the cuddliest, sweetest thing with humans. She'll be your best snuggle buddy ever. I'm super clean & tidy and want to live with people who prioritise this in the communal areas. I always clean up after the dog. I do enjoy my own space at times but also keen for making real friendships with housemates! I enjoy the occasional beer, wine or rum, but definitely not a party animal. Also a musical person, I play keys and sing and would love to hang with muso's. I do a fair bit of cooking and food prep so a nice big kitchen is important to me. I have recently built myself a small campervan which is also my every day car, so ideally an off-street car park would be great, but not necessarily a deal breaker depending on the street situation. My own bathroom or ensuite would be a preference, but again not a deal breaker if the right housemates appear. I work full time with early starts (6am) so I'm in bed pretty early during the week. I'll need to be somewhere that isn't noisy in the evenings! :) I have a partner and we hang out on weekends, usually staying at each others' places one night on the weekends. I like going to the markets for fresh fruit & veg, being conscious of where my dollar goes and minimalist with my stuff. I'm passionate about being environmentally conscious in the home, so I recycle as much as possible and have a composting bucket as well. I love good food and good chats... you know the good ones where you spend hours on things you're passionate about! I really hope to find people that fit. I'm always aiming to be a better human wherever possible! I'm totally open for team ups as well, cos finding a new place together could be pretty rad. Again, I know this is really early if I'm not planning on moving til late May or early June, but I figure there might be people out there like me just surfing the waves to see what's out there! And also I'd really like to meet and hang out with potential future housemates before moving in anyway so hey, we got time! :)
Easy going single male with a quiet well behaved 4 year old border collie., Lucy is great with other dogs and pets, she has been mother to 4 puppies last year when she was on the farm with my parents. She's very good and gentle with even the smallest of dogs. I work full time weekdays as a customer service/relationship specialists directly with customer and my colleagues out on the road. I do work the odd Saturday. I’m a great cook, a keen gardener. Lots of plants, l will quiet happily look after the lawns and gardens for others. All of these things help creating a chilled comfortable place for every member of a household. I have all kitchen needs, can store if need be, I have a good art collection and a number of vintage pieces of furniture. I’m clean and respectful to others in a house, I like to cook for others and I'm very sharing. Looking for a big room in a house or a townhouse, currently in a townhouse with my dog. We both will come with references and we both don’t have flees. 🤓 I'm an ex-real estate agent, pets and most challenges in regard to renting, can be solved when everyone is an adult and on the same page. I Matt.
I’m a nurse and I FIFO out of Brisbane for work on a 7/7 roster so will only be around every second week. I’m flexible with the suberb once I can get a furnished room with an en-suite. I’m clean but not OCD 😂 fairly laidback and enjoy a drink and a chat. I’m also flexible with the location.
Hi 👋 I work full time and study full time, and I’m looking for somewhere new to call home. I also have a 4 year old cat called Theo who will absolutely turn his back on me to be your best friend. I’ve been house sharing one way or another for the last 5 years so have the basic courtesies down pat. Work and uni keep me pretty busy and I’m a bit of a homebody, but like to get out on the weekend for the sake of my sanity.
I'm studying at QUT doing technical production. I work as a barista. I like to go to nice bars and gigs in the city every now and then, I also dabble in guitar and listen to the odd record. I am looking for a chilled group of people around a similar age to move in with who also enjoy similar activities and wouldn't mind guests over every so often :)
