Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something closer to the city. Need to be close to public transport - a train station. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. Not in a hurry to find something but flexible with timing. Ideally looking for own bathroom and a smaller number of roommates. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Clean & tidy. Easy going. Secure monthly income. Love a chat(at same time respectful of people's space), a drink or 2, cooking, keeping fit. Can operate a lawn mower and a vacuum cleaner. Pay my bills on time and rent 4wks in advance. Have a beautiful 7yr old female Kelpie-Jess, who's personality is quite infectious. Not too much phases or surprises us.
Half British half French I'm very open (British side) and I'm a great cook (French side)!
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Currently living with a couple of girls in Morningside, but the girl that owns the house wants to move overseas. I love riding motorbikes and staying fit. I love cooking and socialising, but often crave a day to sit on the couch and do nothing. I'm in sales for construction and travel away sometimes for work to the other capital cities. Overall, I'm not stressed by much and am pretty upfront.
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I haven't found a job in Brisbane yet but am currently looking for bar, cafe, nanny or Childcare work. I also do a bit of part time modelling for Tamblyns. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.
hey im aidan i work full time mon-friday, I'm pretty quiet during the week and during the weekends I like to get out & about. Looking for social easy going people who are respectful and clean, some where i can call home preferably with air-con. Im fairly active social and polite, into my sport, music and art and would love if you had a dog to!
Hey all! Im returning from India on November 16 and need a new place to stay short term. Long story short, I'll be moving to Melbourne in January some time for university! If you wondering, yes I have the capacity to support myself, pay bond and Rent until this time. I'll also be looking for some casual work to fill my time and save some money for Woodford Folk Festival! Of course you are welcome to join! A bit about myself, I'm an ex banker who left earlier this year to pursue tertiary studies and live a new dream. I'm 23 (male) and have lived in Brisbane since 2011 and have had numerous leases under my name with no problems in the past. I can give you my most recent reference if you need. I am flexible with any household arrangements that might include chores and bills. I only ask that there be good internet! I love to cook vegetarian meals, and am a bit of a yogi (who likes to party every now and again). I know everyone says it, but I do mean it when I say Im clean! But, not over excessively; many house shares has taught me how to love dirty dishes that aren't mine! Anyway, if you want to know more please email me or, like I said, I return to Aus on the 16th and can meet and inspect after this date! Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Zach ps I'm looking for south side residence, but obviously can be swayed if you think we will get along and you have a killer pad ;)
Hi I'm Nicole! I work as a leading hair stylist for my best friends thriving growing salon. I'm a busy, enthusiastic and outgoing person with a beautiful big rottie named King. I walk him and excercise daily and love a bit of piece and quiet in the evenings. I am social on weekends but work and my dog is a priority. He is house trained and a pleasure to have around the home. He will become you best bud! I am looking for a room in a share house preferably with my own bathroom. I am tidy and will always clean up after myself so hit me up if we could be suitable for your place!
*I am not ready to move until end of November but happy to be contacted* I am friendly, clean, quiet and busy. I am active, enjoy other people's company and also enjoy my own space. I would like to live very close to work at woolloongabba, near the city. I am currently just having a look at the market because my lease does not end until the end of November 2016 I have my own bedroom furniture but require and built in cupboards, and would prefer my own bathroom or ensuite I will be inspecting properties from 8th November, to choose before moving in to your home around 22nd November, as current lease ends 25th November. I will upgrade my membership in a week or so to be easier to contact. I am saving listings and messages at the moment, so please feel free to contact me, I will reply to you if it lets me do that before I upgrade.
I always clean up after myself, I'm very easy to get along with and have a very cute dog that I clean up after also. I'm respectful of other people's items and space so just give me the rules and I will stick with them. I work casually and study also, however the study term is almost over so I will be working a little more. I do exercise and go to the gym, but this is limited to only 1 hour a day. I'm quite the homebody and enjoy being at home more than being out partying.
Hey there. I'm a 31 year old Queenslander looking for a new place. I'm looking to move in with a friendly girl who has their own life but likes to hang out together as well on occasion, and share a glass of wine after a long work day! I don't smoke (ever) and am ridiculously neat and tidy! I work full time in Newstead in recruitment. Have lived in share houses before so I know the drill. Hope to hear from you, Lauren.
I'm early 30's with wide ranging interests in world affairs, sport, food, cars, travel, ++.
Please read my full ad before contacting me. About me: I'm a 25yo self employed female who works from home. I work about 15 hrs a week so currently looking for another job to utilise my spare time. I'm quiet, clean and considerate of others. I pay all of my bills on time and always pick up after myself. I enjoy Pilates, walking my dogs, traveling and being sarcastic. I am not a party person but enjoy socialising every now and then. I am a very easy going person with an open mind. Would prefer to live with mature, semi-responsible and like-minded people. I'll consider moving anywhere Brisbane/Gold Coast/Byron but do prefer Brisbane Southside. I have a friendly and loveable staffy named Soul, aged 3 who is part of the package. He is an inside dog so my perspective housemate/s must love animals as he is my number one priority and a safe and loving environment for him is paramount. He is washed weekly and is a very obedient and affectionate dog who loves to be around humans and other dogs (no cats sorry). I have a second staffy who will predominantly live with my ex but will occasionally stay over as we like to have slumber parties and braid each other's hair. I am essentially seeking to team up with 2 others to apply for a new rental. I have all kitchen appliances, a coffee table, TV unit and dryer I can bring or leave behind. I plan on buying a new lounge and miscellaneous decor items when I move. I would love to make a house a home with 1-2 individuals similar to myself. Flick me a msg if you think we can be friends/housemates!
I'm a Psychology student at QUT and work part-time at a pizza store (that means I can bring you home amazing pizza after my shifts). I'm a tidy, easy going person who is respectful of personal space but keen to sesh and socialise with my roommates :) message me if you have any other questions. I am willing to pay more rent for the master bedroom.
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
I am a Kiwi girl who is making the move to Straya in November. I am super clean and tidy & very easy going. Gym and exercise feen, dog lover & can spin a good yarn. I am a package deal - my pug Otto will be joining me in Australia once I settle myself in! I will be working full-time, I'm in the banking/finance industry. In search of a flat that will allow Otto & and must have great banter.
Hello! I'm a 26 year old Brisbane girl, I work full time in advertising. Looking for a room to rent preferably with one or two other flatmates with a non-shared bathroom. I'm a social lass who loves to have a beer, to kick back & watch a bit of cricket or footy! I do also have a ginger cat named Tigger who is a very friendly, laid back old man who spends his days basking in the sun.
18 year old UQ student with a part time job. I'm clean and tidy, friendly and will mostly keep to myself in the house but won't mind socialising at all. I'm also a bit of a minimalist, so small/simple rooms or places won't be a bother. I love dogs.
