I'm a nurse working full time. I also having a baking business on the side (I promise I'll let you eat the leftovers). I love living in a clean house and can pretty much get along with any one. I grew up in Brisbane so enjoy socialising with friends and family but happy to hang out with housemates as well!
Hey! I'll be looking for a new place to live at the start of JULY, I would love to meet some people who are looking to do the same, or have a room available. Both my roommates are moving on, one overseas and the other inner state to start her career. I work full time in Darra so I would like to stay south of the river, but still close enough to the city/valley. I wouldn't mind living with either male/s or female/s, as long as they are around the same age. Preferably no more than 2 roommates. I've got a few things for a share house, fridge, kitchen stuff, dining table n chairs, outdoor setting, etc. Avid Triple J listener that loves checking out gigs n festivals. I'm always keeping busy with catching up with mates n making plans. Love a cheeky bev on the weekends, and always down to have a chat after a long day at work. Keen to meet some new friends :) $175 or $195 bills included. Feel free to ask me anything !
G'day I'm 24 years old, work full time as an electrician around Brisbane, I also train most week nights and saturdays so I'm not home much at all. I try to live an active and healthy lifestyle, while also sneaking in some beers or a glass of red on occasion. I clean up after myself and pull my weight around the house and have been flat sharing for quite a while now. would ideally like to live with similar minded, motivated and friendly housemates who like to keep a fairly clean house. People who are up for a chat or a beer or the odd beach trip. Unfortunately I will be in Bali from July 14th till August 6th. and need to be out of my place by the following weekend. I'm hoping that i could line something up and move the week i get back so im not having to pay two lots of rent while away, but may consider for the right place. cheers!
I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
I'm a pretty down to earth person respectful, clean and will always help out where ever I can. I work full time at a hotel in the city, I don't cook much mostly eat out, I enjoy kicking back for a games night or a beer every now and then but not a party animal. I have a cat called Jerry who is quite old now so sleeps most of the day.
Hi there, Moving up from Sydney! Will be working full time, boyfriend living in Bulimba and have friends around the same area. Very clean and tidy and easy to live with, love all pets but have none of my own, I have my own car, pretty active and love cooking, am very independent but also happy with company around the house :).
Hey new housemate! all the boring stuff is below but to put it into a couple of sentences we are just looking for somewhere nice with housemates that we can enjoy time with whether its having a drink at night or watching a movie or having dinner, maybe even sneak in a game of monopoly! (without the destroying friendship part of it) look forward to hearing from you. We are a couple that has been together for over 2 years both from Brisbane, our current flatmate has had to move back home and our lease runs out on the 30th so we are looking to find a new place and new housemates pretty quickly. I (Sean) am a second year mechanical engineering student at UQ interested in cars and I do gardening for work every now and then, i am not a fan of cats at all but love pretty much any dog. Amy works as a nanny and a cleaner 6 days a week likes going to yoga when she can make it and enjoys lying down and reading books (she has about 3 storage containers full and more on the bookshelf), we also have 4 mice dont worry they dont stink as we clean them pretty regularly. Most nights i will cook dinner and we will watch some tv shows or movies. we like going out for breakfast or dinner about once a week and try to do something new that gets us out of the house on the weekend. Not really to sure what else to say but hope we are looking forward to meeting our new housemates cheers.
First thing's first, Jenn is not the name of the bird on my shoulder, the bird's name is Peggy-Sue, and it was taken in FNQ. Jenn and I are 2 friends who have lived together in the past, a few years back and are looking to move in together again. We're looking for a person or a couple to share a house with. At the end of the year, one of us will have a partner move in too! # 30 year old male with 11 year old small dog # 27 year old female # both plant based lifestyles, prefer others who are as well, please # both employed in CBD area # looking for a house with a backyard # preferably polished wood floors # 2 bathrooms # already have fridge, washing machine, lounge furniture, dining room furniture and all bedroom furniture # both enjoy socialising, but both enjoy own space too # we don't smoke, but do not mind smokers # Tai's partner is looking to move in end of December 2017 (cheaper rent for us all, yay) # looking to move somewhere close-ish to the city such as Greenslopes, Woolloongabba, Kangaroo Point, Paddington, East Brisbane, Coorparoo, Norman Park, Holland Park, Kelvin Grove, Red Hill, New Farm, Bowen Hills and surrounding areas We are both kind and open minded individuals. Contact me if you have any questions! :)
Hey, im a mechanic. Moved up from the Burleigh Heads 2 months ago with my boarder collie bella, she is very placid and loves most other dogs. I keep to myself building my motorbike and taking bella with me every where i go. Not a big drinker or partyer, prefer to take bella hiking or to the beach on a weekend so won't be home that much. I do like to cook dinner sometimes, thai, curries or hearty roasts to share with housemates.
Hello! My name is savannah. I'm 23 and have been renting for the last 5 years. I currently live in bulimba but looking to downsize when my lease is up on August 30 so I can save some money and head overseas eventually. (Looking for a 6 month lease). I work full time as a graphic designer and also work some bars on the weekend so I'm rarely home and like to just relax when I am. I paint and watch tv shows in my spare time and don't know many people in Brisbane so don't often have house guests. I do have a cat who is really friendly and just loves people. She's never attacked or scratched anyone and is always down for a snuggle. Most people fall in love with her so I'm hoping she wont be a problem! Happy to meet over coffee to see if we get along :)
Hi guys! Currently looking for a house (or share house) from the 24th or 25th June until the 25th July. I have a medium sized dog (a Husky, but she's tiny!), she's extremely friendly & well behaved. I'm a clean/tidy person & mostly keep to myself. ☺️ Thanks!
I am 23 years old, Electrician and from England. Clean, organised and tidy as I am borderline OCD when it comes to mess. Very easy to live with as I am easy to talk to, very considerate and understanding. Mostly keep to myself watching tv series and have an xbox one, I like to go kickboxing and rock climbing... oh and boardgames. I am looking for - Fully Furnished, preferably air con in bedroom but not essential, double bed essential. A house that is sociable, a house that did stuff together every now and then as I would rather live with friends then strangers.
Hi, my name is Corinna - I'm a 26 year old female. I'm looking to share a house with friendly people who are happy to have a chat. I am a fairly clean/tidy person and am respectful of other people and the communal living spaces. In my job, I don't work standard hours so a loud party house probably wouldn't be the best match. I am really into healthy eating, cooking, and yoga and Krav Maga! My ideal home would have a friendly, low-key and homely atmosphere. Message me if this sounds like you! :)
I'm looking for temporary accomodation in Norman Park, Morningside, Bulimba, Hawthorne, Coorparoo and Camp Hill kind of areas. I will be needing somewhere from now until September. I am a makeup artist and a nanny who enjoys the outdoors, keeping reasonably active, seeing live music, cafes/restaurants/bars and sometimes just hanging out on the couch watching some trashy tv. I've travelled quite a lot and have lived with lots of people and I've been told I'm a great housemate. I'm down to earth, have a great sense of humour, I'm a very clean, reliable, honest, respectful person and am hoping to find the same type of people to live with.
UQ student in my last semester of my masters degree :)
I'm moving out of home for the first time ever!. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I live on the North side with my lovely family but I'm far from uni so I want to move closer. Since this is a first time experience you will be my first experience. I would like peaceful people who will make this transition easy for me. No dramas just easy going.I am a social person though I don't drink or smoke. I do like to talk and make people feel comfortable around me lol at the same time i treasure my me time. I am a UQ student so i'll spend my time at uni, at work and every Sunday at church. I LOVE music. Rather I'm a musician though I'm studying something totally unrelated to music (Political science and Criminology). I play piano and sing and I'm a music director at my church. I'm not the type that sings all the time though.. I know... weird. I don't like pets at all due to the mess(sorry). I'm a clean freak. I value family, friends, love and all those mooshy mooshy things. I think i'm over sharing. Feel free to message me. Thank you Future Housemate
Hi! My name is Caitlin and I am studying at QUT and work part time in a call centre in the CBD. I am easy to get along with, love having a quiet few drinks and going out for the occasional night out. This will be the first time that I move out of my parents house, so I am looking for a chill place that is quiet and friendly. My partner may occasionally come over but we'd never want to make my housemates uncomfortable. I turn 20 later this year and am excited to graduate at the end of next year. I work a lot of weekends and spend my spare time with friends or studying.
Both tidy, respectful yet fun. Both will be working full time. Interested in running, cooking and exploring Australia during time off. We are both Irish veterinarians aged 22 and 26 years old.
We often find ourselves at home relaxing, as we are quiet and keep to ourselves. We are both social smokers (in progress of quitting) and only drink socially. I'm from Wynnum but don't mind travelling to places, and my partner is from Cleveland. We have an adorable 2yr old cat that lives with me. She's fully house trained, desexed, registered and microchipped! Potentially we are looking for our next small home to reside in as my lease just ended.
