Hey! I'm hoping to find two other people to start a new share house! Preferably something within about 10 mins to the city. I work a lot during the week so want a place I can come home to and relax after work, always up to share a meal together or a drink and wanting people that are happy to do the same. I'm not a party animal but like the occasional drink after work or a night out on the weekend. I'm very easy going and know the in's and out's of living in a share house eg. keeping common areas clean etc. I have some furniture - My bedroom stuff, Fridge and kitchen items. I'm more than happy to buy a new couch or some other items to contribute also. I was also after the Master bedroom (Obvs pay extra) as sometimes I work from home so need some office space. Let me know if you are similar and we can catch up for a coffee/drink :) Cheers, Patrick
We are looking for a house mate before moving into a house. We are a very quiet, clean and respectful couple. Happy to have a chat, but respectful of personal space. We work mostly from home. We are non smokers, and non drinkers. We don't like to party. We like pets, and plants. I have a small fish, which I can keep safe from cats. I have a hearing problem which means that TV in public spaces will be difficult for me, especially since I will be working mostly from home. Looking for own bathroom.
My name is Vitor, I'm from Santos, Brazil. I will take a 24-week English course at Browns English School, along with my friend Higor, 18 years old. I am 21 years old, turning 22 in October. We live life quietly, going out with friends and keeping them close. I love traveling, meeting different places and people. I am organized and sociable, I love music, beer, culture and nature.
I've just moved to Brisbane for work and I'm looking forward to housesharing (I've been doing it happily in Sydney for the last 10 years). I'm tidy, proactive, friendly and pretty laid back and I'm looking for the same kind of people :) I can provide references from Sydney! Generally I like to hang out occasionally with my housemates but will otherwise keep the peace/to myself.
Hi! **NOTE: looking to make the move on the last weekend in August- if this suits you let me know! ** I'm Stacey, 26 years old, working professional who is fun and out going! I'm fairly social, but also like to chill at home after long days at work! I've house shared for quite some time so very familiar with the ins and outs of living with other people... I've successfully lived with 11 people in London for 2 years and we are all still the best of mates, so I'm sure we will get along ;) Really looking for a home that is clean and comfortable, with some fun and happy housemates to share the space with! I respect the people I live with and like to keep communications open, I would hope to find a housemate that is the same :) Please get in touch if you think you would swipe right on me as a housemate ;) Stace
Hi there! I'm your typical fun loving, cheerful girl, studying full time at uni and work part time across a couple of jobs. I work mostly admin jobs and am studying Business Management/Hotel Tourism Management. The current sharehouse I'm in has been a blast, but unfortunately my housemates don't pull their weight, which puts too much pressure on myself because I'm so busy. So I'm looking for people to live with who enjoy being social, people who are reasonably clean and willing to help out with household chores. Honesty, positivity and chilled vibes are what I'm chasing in a housemate, I'm also not the type of person to simply live in a space with someone, I always like to have a friendship with the people I live with, as I grew up with 3 sisters and so I enjoy having a family like environment! I hope to hear from you :)
Hi I'm Jenny, I am a university student who also works part time in marketing. I consider myself a friendly, tidy, relaxed person who is always up for a chat but don't mind my alone time too. I am looking to move early August to a suburb close to the city.
Hello! My name is savannah. I'm 23 and have been renting for the last 5 years. I currently live in bulimba but looking to downsize when my lease is up on August 30 so I can save some money and head overseas eventually. (Looking for a 6 month lease). I work full time as a graphic designer and also work some bars on the weekend so I'm rarely home and like to just relax when I am. I paint and watch tv shows in my spare time and don't know many people in Brisbane so don't often have house guests. I do have a cat who is really friendly and just loves people. She's never attacked or scratched anyone and is always down for a snuggle. Most people fall in love with her so I'm hoping she wont be a problem! Happy to meet over coffee to see if we get along :)
Hi flatmates If you are not only looking for a reliable, clean, tidy and trustworthy person, but also a friendly, easy going and helpfull guy, here I am! I am international student, coming from Colombia, who want to find a flat with a similar description as me. I want to make the best out of it, explore the landscape of the east coast, getting to know the Australian culture and lifestyle. I am searching for flatmates who are open minded, positive, fun!!! and if u want, we can share time and experiences but if not it's ok too. I love many different sports and I learn quickly. I also have a motorbike so I will need a parking for it.
First thing's first, Jenn is not the name of the bird on my shoulder, haha. Jenn and I are 2 friends who have lived together in the past, a few years back and are looking to move in together again. Contact me if you have any questions! :)
I'm a positive, open-minded, adventurous newbie to Brisbane! I've just moved interstate from Newcastle, NSW to start my master's degree in conservation biology at UQ. I'm going to be studying pretty hard, but will want to make time to get to know my new flatmates and explore my new home city! I like getting active outdoors, cooking and having a chat with a cup of tea or a good glass of red. I'm a tidy, considerate, fun person to live with. I would love to live in walking distance or a short public transport ride away from UQ's St Lucia campus. I adore animals and am happy to live with them, just not an indoor cat as I'm a little allergic to them. I have a place to live at the moment until the start of August. Would be happy to pay double rent for a little while to secure the right kind of place.
Working fulltime, looking for somewhere to live closer to the City. Extremely social - Breakfast is my favourite meal, I enjoy coffee, dinners, drinking and catching up with friends on the weekends. No pets, extremely clean, looking to split all bills. Holidaying through Europe until the 23rd June but looking to move as soon as I get back!
Hi, my name is Corinna - I'm a 26 year old female. I'm looking to share a house with friendly people who are happy to have a chat. I am a fairly clean/tidy person and am respectful of other people and the communal living spaces. In my job, I don't work standard hours so a loud party house probably wouldn't be the best match. I am really into healthy eating, cooking, and yoga and Krav Maga! My ideal home would have a friendly, low-key and homely atmosphere. Message me if this sounds like you! :)
We often find ourselves at home relaxing, as we are quiet and keep to ourselves. We are both social smokers (in progress of quitting) and only drink socially. I'm from Wynnum but don't mind travelling to places, and my partner is from Cleveland. We have an adorable 2yr old cat that lives with me. She's fully house trained, desexed, registered and microchipped! Potentially we are looking for our next small home to reside in as my lease just ended.
Hi I'm a respectful and super clean and tidy guy, transitioning between selling and buying my next house. I'm friendly and active, I play Tennis, go running and gym. Love a nice weekend coffee and breakfast out, cooking. Hoping to team up with someone similar, would love to meet new friends out of the experience also. An undercover or garage spot for my car is a must and only want to live with one other person. Thanks
I like to live with one flatmate because I want to try the experience. I am polite, fun, kind and I would like enjoy this in a shared way. I don't have trouble with anybody so I think that I am a good mate.
I am a student from England and will be moving to Brisbane for a year abroad studying at the University of Queensland. I will arrive on the 7th of July and will be staying in a hostel the week before orientation so that I can look for more long-term accomodation. I'm really looking forward to exploring Australia and am hoping to make the most of my time there travelling and trying new activities and watersports. I enjoy chilled nights in as well as meeting new people.
They say you're only as great as the company you keep and I have the most awesome Cavoodle... so by default, I'm pretty rad too :) I respect others space and belongings. I like chats at home over a few ciders and a delicious cook up. I'm a veteran at the share house thing, so I've learnt how to adapt and mix well with a diversity of personalities. I like a stylish yet chilled haven as my home is my sanctuary... go out to party, stay home to unwind.
