I work as a volunteer coordinator, study at RMIT, do a radio book club for lesbians and like watching scary movies, drinking tea and hanging out with my excessively handsome old cat Sebastian. I'm an experienced sharehouser and ideally looking for a household where everyone likes spending time together. Intersectional feminist, antifascist, queer as hell and vegan (happy to live with meat eaters)!
Friendly couple in our second year of university (La Trobe and Swinburne) looking for a place close to La Trobe University & Public Transport. We don't make much noise, generally keeping to ourselves. We're responsible, respectful, tidy, and motivated, and will do our share of house maintenance. We're set to graduate between 2018 and 2019 and are looking to hopefully stay in the same area until we graduate.
Hi I'm an easy going fun tidy girl looking for a new place . looking for something close to transport as I don't drive. I work part time and have some furniture if need be otherwise I can put it in storage. Hope to hear from you guys
I am a 37yo Naturopath and Bowen Therapist. I practice at a beautiful clinic in Thornbury, and also work at a great health food store in Gisborne. I volunteer at CERES in the propagation team. I love growing food, and learning about permaculture. I'm currently growing veggies in a rather large patch, and am keen to do so again in a new place, though perhaps in raised beds this time. I'm hoping for the garden to be a joint venture. I would love to get chickens if the other housemates are also interested. I also enjoy going to local gigs, trying various places to eat around the area, and the occasional "crafternoon" with a couple of friends. I intend to improve my sewing and woodwork skills by attending a couple of short courses this year. I have a 10yo (lazy) cat, who spends a lot of his daytime sleeping in the garden, and the night in my room. He is always happy for cuddles, but doesn't play, scratch or bite. He is of course fully house trained (i.e. litter, doesn't scratch furniture etc). He tolerates dogs but fears other cats, so would prefer a house with no other pets. He is not a hunter. I have a lot of house-sharing experience, and have NEVER had an issue with paying rent and bills on time (and have always received my bond back in full). My main reason for moving is that I'd like to find a cleaner house. My current flatmates are also rather unhappy people, so it is time for a change. So overall I'm after a house with clean, happy, positive flatmates (preferably 30yo+), and a garden to play with. A place where we each do our own thing but also come together for a chat or occasional shared meal. I'd like to avoid heavy drinkers and party animals. I am pretty flexible regarding moving date, but ideally would like to be able to give one month's notice to my flatmates, without having to pay two rents for too long. I am looking in Fairfield, Thornbury or Preston. Possibly Reservoir.
Hi, I'm Ilaria. I come from Italy. and I've just moved in Melbourne. I'm gonna stay here until mid December working at school as a Language assistant in Northcote. In my spare time I like travelling, writing and listening to music. I'm friendly and responsible, tidy and clean. I lived in London one year. I'm looking for a share house possibly in Preston, and near the train station.
I'm tidy and clean and am a pretty good cook. I house-sat a lot last year so can remember to put the bins out and I'm good with animals. My job has been permanent for the last 10 years at The Old Melbourne Gaol. I have a social life, a good sense of humour and enjoy wine, reading, crosswords, Pilates and am an Ex-Australian Ballroom dancing champion. Oh and I've got a front loader washing machine ;)

I'm a 27 year old gay guy who currently lives with my father in Richmond who I care for part time. Its pretty small here so I'm wanting my own space. I'm very clean and tidy, maybe a bit OCD lol. I'm shy at first but once I warm to people I can be myself. I class myself as an introvert that energizer's off others but do like my own space also. Always there for a shoulder to cry on and a very empathetic person, non judgmental and very open minded. I'm a typical Virgo a sensitive natural carer. I'm not one to party unless its with people I know, and usually just at a bar or a few Bundy's watching the footy. I get along with just about anybody and always up for a chat. I don't do drugs although I smoke cigarettes, which I am gonna try to give up in the near future, and I don't mind a drink or two of an evening if its been a long day. In my spare time when not working or volunteering at the Wellington community centre in Collingwood and going to lots of appointments, or caring for my Mother and Father which I have been since I was 10yo. 💗 I love to be in nature as I grew up in a small town, so i like the country feel. I pretty much walk around Everywhere to all appointment and everyday life. I'm a bit of a fitbit crazy person, I also just joined the gym. I'm a healthy eater but could use some cooking lessons lol. I love animals so if you have a pet that's a bonus. I don't like judgmental people and people who are to erratic all the time. I'd be out most days doing my own thing but weekends usually at home or out visiting friends or family. Looking to study in then near future once I settle in. I'm into fitness and just being healthy which makes me alot happier in everyday life. I try to stay positive and do some meditation nightly on my own of course. I'm easy going and wanting to meet some great people whom I can call friends through this process. If you want to know anymore just ask 😉 Hope I find a great place to call home soon. 😀 If you like my listing and think I'd suit your place, please don't hesitate to msg me.
Hey all! My names Brody and I work in the city as a designer in Marketing. Love to be social and enjoy a bit of good banter, but also enjoy my alone time. I've got clean rental history with references, I'm respectful of others, clean and reliable. Let me know what you've got! Cheers.
Hey there 😊 name is Dani. I'm looking for a new place to move into hopefully in the next few months. I'm easy to live with, friendly and am pretty tidy and usually keep to myself and give privacy when needed. I work part time as a bartender and will be returning to my studies in June to continue a bachelor of youth work. I have a little buddy with me called Hero (my white cat), he is part of the package and will be moving with me. He's an indoor cat, so he will be needing a bit of space to just roam around, and to put his kitty litter so he doesn't get bored or agitated. Besides that he's a special one and always entertaining :)
Hey, Let us tell you a little about ourselves :) My name is Nikita. I'm a Barista, in the process of working towards owning my own cafe. I love to travel, experience new things and I do my best to make the most of what each day has to offer. I'm very friendly and outgoing and I have no trouble making friends with new people. My partner is Alex, a qualified Electrician, also studying Project Management. Alex is super chilled, likes having a good laugh and keeping busy experiencing new things. He's always up for meeting new people and making new friends. We're both very easy going people, happy to keep to ourselves, or just as happy to be in a more social living arrangement and make new friends. We both work Monday - Friday and keep pretty busy over the weekends. Alex swims 3 nights a week and I attend kickboxing 3 nights a week so we're never just hanging about the house too much. Anyway, we're basically good people, saving for a place of our own and we'd love the opportunity to find some fellow good people to rent with until it's time to buy a place of our own. If we sound like your type of people, please let us know :)
I am a chilled Polish guy enjoying life in Australia for the past 9 years. I like the outdoors, and I'm interested in biology, philosophy and sciences. I like to chill at home with a glass of red, enjoy a good movie. I like cooking and experimenting with food, always happy to share and try new things. I avoid eating meat however from time to time I give in to my carnivorous habits. I've lived in harmony with a variety of people and have been able to find balance and harmony. I am looking for a place with open-minded people who want a house to be more than a place to sleep and eat. I do not smoke, and I do not tolerate smoking - I have a sensitive sense of smell (I can sense a good coffee from a long distance). Having me around is a good addition if you like a bit of laugh and adventure :)
Hello everyone! I'm Francesca and I come from Italy. I'll be staying in Melbourne until december working as a language assistant, and I'd like to find a nice house to live in! I'm sociable and easy-going, I love reading and animals, and I wouldn't mind share the house with a pet.
Hey! My name is Grace, I'm 19, I'm a 3rd year psychology student at la trobe. I'm really clean, quiet, and often keep to myself. I like Netflix, music, video games, and cooking. I have 2 cats but they don't have to live with me (but I would love if they could!). Looking to move ASAP 😊
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room, but I'm open to sharing a room with the right person. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Greetings, I'm a student perusing Masters of IT from Charles Sturt University with a full-time job,( mostly evening/night shifts). My interests include reading, music, watching documentaries and indulging in healthy conversations. I'm a responsible individual punctual with rent and always there to lend a helping hand. A good part of my time is spent on traveling to Work/University, need to cut down the traveling time so I’m in search of a private room in a shared accommodation which has access to public transport, (Bus, Tram, Metro Station) and is at a respectable distance from the City, (Traveling time – Half an hour to one hour.). Feel free to message me. Thanks.
My name is Deanna (Dee) I'm currently looking for a new share house! My budget is $200 inc bills. I work full time in retail as a manager of a clothing store. No pets and a non smoker! I'm pretty easy to get along with and keep to myself a lot. I do have a boyfriend who would visit a couple of times a week but nothing excessive! I'm from Germany (of Russian descent) and work as a part-time teacher in Bundoora. I am very tidy when it comes to house maintenance, openminded and respectful of other people. I am also a Christian and enjoy a good chat about "God and the World" with a great bottle of wine and some cheese! ;) I love literature, cooking for people, travelling/exploring, being outdoors and learning new stuff. I am that weird thing called "introverted extrovert", meaning I am happy to keep to myself, but also do enjoy having a cuppa or hanging out with people that I live with when an opportunity arises. ;) Oh, and I love cats!! So, if you happen to have one, this will make me a pretty happy girl!
