Hard working, friendly professionals looking for a temporary place to call home. Mostly keep to ourselves but don’t shy away from a social dinner or movie with house mates. One of us works in television, the other in hospitality. Friendly, respectful and very tidy people. Plenty of experience living in share houses, very open and honest communicators. Looking for a place we can occupy for a few months before moving interstate. We have some furniture, however would be happy to place in storage if furniture is already provided. Would prefer a self contained space, but open to ideas.
Easy-going and chilled Brazilian guy who just arrived in Sydney to study and work. I used to work for the Australian Embassy in Brasilia and I came to spend a year abroad in Australia. I have already shared apartments for quite a while and had flatmates who later became best friends.
Hello there! I'm looking for a private room in a house with a decent kitchen where I can cook my meals. And Flatmates who are nice and clean up after themselves. --About me as an individual: I live in Singapore with my family and my Labrador, Zara, who is also family to me. I've been really passionate about Chemical Engineering since 9th grade and aim to develop a high-strength bio-degradable polymer some day. Super fond of cooking too, and I think that's just an extension of my passion for chemical engineering related things. General stuffs about me: - ENTJ (aka Commander). BTW, this is the world-famous Myer-Briggs personality test result. Companies use this to hire people, you can reliably use it to judge me as a potential flatmate! - I might hold many politically incorrect opinions but I do know how to respect the opinions of everyone. I love to debate on all things that can be debated, but I also know when to back out of the debate out of respect. - I love to explore the depths of society as we know it. I often travel to interact with people from different walks of life (farmers, fishermen, stock-brokers, deeply religious folks and all that). So goes without saying, I am always up for meeting with new people, like YOU, my future flatmate! - Adventuring through life, in search of the unknowns is my addiction. I am always up for a plan to go camping, cycling (I love cycling) or motor-biking (the best). Not a huge fan of trekking but I have always enjoyed it with good company and on a decent route. --About me as a flat-mate: I am a super organized guy; you'll see how I unpack my entire room from 3 luggages. I cook almost all my meals: I am no Gordon Ramsay. In fact, I am right there with those who cook to survive. But I love an occasional fiesta where we chat, have some nice home-cooked meals and just cool the week's load off. I am, in all aspects, big-time an engineer at heart, and for you that means I would gladly fix technical issues around the house. GLADLY. Been in charge of that at my home all my life, and I hail from a highly DIY country haha! That would be all about me. I don't have too much experience sharing houses, just 6 months. But trust me, I am a really easy-going, respectful and an accommodating guy. Thanks a lot for considering me! Have a great day and hopefully, we will speak soon!
Hey guys, super fun, friendly 23 year old. Looking for a decent size room as I need to bring my own bed(its by greatest possession) haha. Really chill, looking for other people who are chill, tidy and appreciate a drink or two.
I am Aayush a second year mechanical engineering student at UNSW . I am 19 and wanted to move into a peaceful and a cozy place with some of my friends . I work part time as shift runner at Dominos (also can offer great discount on pizzas for other flatmates ;))
Hi! A little bit about ourselves: We're Hamish (right) and Ricky (left). We are both Aussie mates who were born and raised in Japan (if you don't believe it, we can show you our IDs!). I'm a full-time undergraduate student at UNSW and Ricky is coming down in February to work full-time for a year. Ricky and I both love travelling, trying out new food, and discussing all kinds of topics. We don't like messiness and we like to keep things clean. What we are looking for: -Location: Basically a location close to UNSW (Randwick, Kingsford, Kensington, Maroubra, Zetland, Rosebery, Coogee) -Rent: $400-$600 per week ($200-$300 per person) -Bedrooms: 2 separate bedrooms (not double room) -Furnished or not: furnished -Washing machine and a dryer, though if we can dry it outside then a dryer is unnecessary. -Move-in date: 22/Feb/2019 - 28/Feb/209 -Shared toilet -Shared kitchen -length of stay: at least 6 months -Gender: Flexible
Hi, I'm moved back to Sydney after living in London and am loving it. I'm working full time and head to the gym or beach for a run after work, so definitley making the most of the light nights as I'm training for a Triathlon in 10 weeks time. I'm definitley not super sporty though, just more determined to cross the finish line! I enjoy live music and exploring Sydney and heading home to the sunshine coast (I'm English/NZ with a bit of Aussie thrown in). I'm friendly and easy going and really value people who are kind and considerate to live with. I'm used to flatting so am house trained and tidy. It would be great to have a friendly connection with my housemates and maybe the odd coffee / meal together a and a bit of a laugh, but at the same time I totally value privacy and some quiet time. (:
Hi Everyone I'm Sammy! 28 years old. Work in the city at a financial technology company. I'm friendly and I like keeping things clean around the house. I love going to the gym and can cook here and there. I spend most of time at work and hanging out with friends. Im happy to spend time with people but also love my privacy. I love dogs but unfortunately don't have one of my own. I'm looking to rent with someone who shares a similar view.
I am an events professional from Scotland. Currently working a contract overseas but arrive back to finish an events contract in Sydney. I am very easy-going, sociable, clean and respectful. I love the outdoors, running, music and travelling.
Responsible, reliable, friendly and clean! I’m a hospital pharmacist working Monday to Friday. Originally from country NSW, I moved to Sydney for work 3 years ago. I enjoy wandering markets on the weekends, swimming in the summer if not at the gym or playing mixed netball, online dress-shopping for the races, and catching up with friends over chai lattes, or a few rosés. I’m interested in a private double room. I prefer unfurnished with built-ins and my own bathroom would be a bonus. Must have good access to the train. I am flexible with the move-in date but should be in February. I’m keen to become good friends with like-minded housemates, sharing a few casual drinks and Netflix binges but of course respecting space for time alone.
Hi! I recently moved to Sydney from New Delhi (India) to pursue an MBA program at the UNSW. I am friendly, jovial person and am not judgemental, which makes it very easy to get along with me. I have traveled quite a bit so I am comfortable living with people from different cultures and background. Although I enjoy engaging with others, I am very respectful of their personal space and don't intrude in their personal matters. Also, I feel suffocated in an untidy place, so I keep my living area neat and tidy. To know more you have to meet me :)
My name's Paulo, I'm a really nice Brazilian guy that works full time in a skip bin company in French Forest. I'm very clean an tide, social and outgoing, easy going, live to talk and have a dinner together. I can do a really good Brazilian style barbecue ;) and really appreciate a beer or wine. I'm honest and respectful too. I love traveling, good food, sports, culture and music. Looking for my own room (long term) as I was travelling around Asia for 2 months and now I`m back to reality =]. Looking for a nice place to call home with nice and friendly people. Cheers.

Hi! I'm a young professional working full time in the marketing/hospo/education industries (it's complicated). Looking for a decent-sized, well-ventilated room in a friendly house. Ideally, not wanting to share a bathroom with more than one other person. My budget of $280 is inclusive of bills. Appreciate having a balance between house-mate bonding time with bevs and personal space. In my spare time I love going to markets, op-shopping, music festivals, bars, and being lazy. If this sounds like it will gel with you and your house, let me know! - Erica
I'm an international student from Norway studying at Bachelor of Arts and Business. I like to consider myself very social and funny to be around. I'm no stranger to living with a lot of different people. I really enjoy meeting new people and getting new experiences hence why I'm moving to the other side of the world. I would love flatmates that I can joke around with and maybe have a cold beer at the end of the day.
Hi, I’m Haley. I’m 26, American, and I’m in Sydney for an internship in digital marketing (JAN-JULY). My twin sister came over last year, so I’m visiting with her until I can find my own place to call home. I love adventure and travel, and I’m looking forward to making new friends here in Australia. I am an easy-going type of person, and I like to have fun. I like both going out and being social, or staying home to unwind and watch a favorite movie or do a group dinner. And I’m a bit on the sporty side; I love fitness and working out (I might be your new gym buddy :) I also love hiking, camping, cooking, yoga, exploring Sydney, and live music (but not necessarily in that order lol). I’m a respectful person to my housemates, and try to keep things clean in shared areas as well as my own. I'm looking for a private room with my own bathroom. I’m very interested in finding a place just as soon as possible, so if it sounds like I might be a good fit, please don't hesitate to respond and tell me a little about yourself; I look forward to hearing from you soon! Cheers, Haley
Hi there, I'm 27, just moved from Melbourne to do a masters at Nida in Writing for Performance, and I'm working weekends in Glebe. I'm really into all things creative, film, painting, also yoga and swimming and walking out in the wilderness. I'm pretty easy to live with as I'm friendly and respectful of others time and space, I clean after myself, pay rent on time and always keen to lend a hand or shoot the breeze, have a bit of a laugh like. Needing a place where I'll be able to study, but also be alive haha. So if I sound like a good addition to your house holler out. :)
Hi ! We are two French students undertaking internships in CS and mechanics. We are fond of outdoor activities like hiking, running, cycling... Curiosity, adventure and sharing will guide our week-end activities. We are very open-minded, and looking forward to discover Australian culture and landscapes ! We will be happy to meet local people and exchange about our countries, hobbies and... whatever topic you may find interesting !
- Relocating from Melbourne for work and i am absolutely clueless about what's where/where's what in Sydney so any guidance will be greatly appreciated! - I come along with 2 furry baby meows and a sexy Triumph street Triple so not car space needed :) - i'm too lazy to cook so the kitchen belongs to you :) - I'm an ambivert (i.e. in/extrovert). If you are the kind of housemate who'd rather everyone mind their own businesses i have absolutely no problems with that.. If you have a couch from F.R.I.E.N.D.S that we can squeeze around once in a while for dinner and drinks i'd love that too :) - I'm an adrenaline junkie so anything to do with heights and speed will probably excite me. I practise muay thai but my stamina sucks. I do love to do some friendly sparring though.. - Oh and im really into tech gadgets.. I'm probably working just to get the latest gadgets just for the kick of it but tech fascinates me! - Recently I've developed a keen interest in metaphysics and am currently learning more about it. - Oh and if you are into MBTI, you probably wouldn't believe it but i'm an INFP. Yes.. I'm more than just adrenaline and tech. have a chat with me over wine :) - Work wise, my office is in the cbd and i work in the finance sector. Even though I'm not gonna hide my love for Excel, i can promise you I'm an excel geek who knows more than formulas lol. ***Most importantly, with my 2 furbies come their cat tree which will have to sit in the living room together with the litter tray. So far there has been no complaints of any smells as cat litters generally don't smell and i sift them daily. - As my babies love delivering their toys everywhere, you can expect to find a goldfish (the toy of course) randomly in your shoe/on your bed or in the middle of the living room. - I have to be upfront about the implications of having 2 cats in the house as i value them having their freedom so i will only consider places housemates that can love them enough to live with their baby like habits!
I work as a consultant, sometimes have to travel for work. Otherwise work normal hours, enjoy going to the Gym, beer and other normal things. Moving to Sydney in Mid January, preferably looking to team up with someone and get a nice place. have a solid rental history and can provide references. Prefer a place around Surrey Hills or Pyremont area, I like to walk to work, however open to other places within bike riding/transport distance.
