The 429 Kingston to Hobart bus runs every 30 minutes during the week and every hour on the weekends. It takes about 30 minutes to get from the nearest bus stop to UTAS in Sandy Bay with a pleasant bus ride from Kingston thru Bonnet Hill, Taroona and Sandy Bay. I seriously love this house! It is open plan and is full of natural light. Private internal block with one other unoccupied townhouse. 2 good size bedrooms both with walk in robes. One bathroom (with a spa bath tub)! And an additional separate toilet downstairs. Good size kitchen which has everything you need. Separate laundry as well. The house is fully furnished with the exception of the vacant bedroom. I am pretty flexible on if you want to bring furniture into the house though. The house is 4km from the CBD, 2km from the university and 1km from Nutgrove beach.

The housemates: Gabrielle is 28, a student at UTAS, and is always up for a cuppa and to hang out. She’s at uni every day and works a couple nights per week. She likes baking and is always keen to go for a hike or for a drink. Kelli is 24, a physiotherapist, works regular shifts, and is interested in health, reading, and sport. We do our groceries and cooking separately but will occasionally put on a roast to share or a mid-week feast. The room for rent is huge, and separated in two parts: a small one where the bed is, and a bigger one that I currently use as lounge/office space. Both rooms have some furnitures: king size bed, shelves, a couch, a desk, etc. The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, laundry, dining room, and a sunroom. There's also a big backyard. It's got a lot of room, indoor plants, it's a well loved space. We clean the house once a week and have a roster for chores. We have a worm farm, compost, and try to be as environmentally friendly as we can. We are all pretty healthy in our lifestyle. We really want someone who looks after things and is respectful. It is a home for all of us, not just a share house.
