$250/week•26 year old man
My name is Will and I am 26 years old. Coming from NSW, I moved to Tasmania late last year for the cooler climate and abundance of greenery. I am currently studying full time at university for a masters degree. Come July, I hope to find casual work or a part time job in addition to my tertiary studying. I’m looking for a quiet household, preferably not situated near any busy roads. My hobbies include the natural world, film, history, gaming, health and psychology. I do have a car, so I would like somewhere reliable to park it.

Hiya! I’m a neurodivergent, creative human looking for a new home with housemate/s that want to create a considerate community. * Ideally* I’d like to find 2 rooms. I’m happy to pay a little more if I’m able to have another separate room as my private office. ————————- What makes me a good housemate? I’m considerate, caring, often up for a laugh or an adventure, and love to keep things tidy and organised so we can all enjoy the space.💞 I run my own small business which keeps me busy as of late. In my spare time I enjoy being around nature, art and music. ———— Some essentials for me: 🍽️ Dishwasher 💚 Green space to ground myself in 🌈 Neurodiversity-Affirming + Queer-friendly housemates 🛁 Bath If this sounds like your place, or you’d like to team up — reach out and let’s chat!

$300/week•26 year old woman and man
Hello future housemates! We are Tilde, 26 years old from Sweden, and Felix, 26 years old from Magnetic Island, QLD. We have spent the past 6 years together travelling and living overseas (mainly in Sweden). Late last year we moved to Australia. The last 6 months we've been living in Newcastle, where Felix has completed an open foundation course at UoN. Tilde has a degree in Global Studies from Sweden. Yearning for some more mountains and nature than what Newy has to offer, we've decided to move down to Tassie! We'll be arriving in Hobart on the 15th of August. Starting in September, Tilde will be undertaking an internship with Environment Tasmania. Felix will be applying to start a bachelor's degree at UTAS in semester one 2026, and until then work. We are keen outdoor lovers and incredibly excited to explore all of what Tasmania has to offer. We love hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, surfing and camping. When we're not outdoors we enjoy relaxing, reading and cooking. We're not big party people, but we do love a good music festival or gig. We have lived in several share houses before and we're clean, respectful and mindful of each other's space - but also happy to get to know each other, have occasional communal dinners, board game nights, share a couple of beers etc. We're looking to share a space with people who share our values of caring for the earth and other people, equality, LGBTQ+ friendly. /Tilde & Felix :)

$330/week•30-33 year old non-binary and woman
Hi, We're Meander (30, NB, pulling the dorky face) & Olwyn (33, F, red-haired one)! We've just moved to Nipaluna from Northern Victoria/ Yorta Yorta land with the goal of making this beautiful place our home. Olwyn works in disability support, and is into mycology, woodworking, bikes, writing (when she has time), and is keen to get back into playing music after a long hiatus. I'm an avid poet, lover of obscure teas, bush walks, and winding conversations. I also work in disability support in an ECE setting, and am studying at UTAS part time to hopefully move into youth work. We're both into sustainability, communalism, politics, and gardening. We'd love to find a place, either in an existing share-house or starting a new flat where we can share a meal and yarn with our flatmates. Conversely, we're pretty independent and happy doing our own thing. Also if you have pets we will love them like our very own children :) Must be queer friendly, ideally a room big enough for a couple, but happy for it to be unfurnished. A place with a garden we could grow food in would be the dream.
