I am a respected Tasmanian artist with a business selling prints and originals, working with several prestigious venues across the state. I also have over 15 years of experience in professional cleaning, both of which I plan to continue in Hobart. I take pride in being clean, respectful, and considerate in a shared living space. While I occasionally have a drink, I don’t drink regularly, and I don’t smoke. However, I do enjoy a friendly chat and the occasional hangout if you’re up for it! My rental references are excellent, I have multiple income streams, am debt-free, and very responsible with my finances. I do require a dedicated space for my art, as I’m an artist by profession. A simple corner of a room would suffice, about 2m x 2m in size. I use water-based acrylics, which are odor-free, and I always protect surfaces with drop sheets and keep my workspace tidy. Some storage space for art supplies would also be helpful. This move is an exciting next step for me. A bit about us: Niclas – Originally from Germany, I have moved to Tasmania to pursue my dream career as a marine biologist. When I’m not studying or volunteering for community events, I’m usually out in the bush, hiking, camping and most importantly chasing waves and diving. I also enjoy cooking and occasionally bake—my crumbles are pretty decent! I have lived first in a boarding school and then in shared flats since I was 14 and I really enjoy having housemates.
