Enjoys a good time out just as much as a good time in. Full time worker, play footy during winter and lives outdoors during summer. I think I’m funny even though I don’t usually say much. Helper, clean, respectful & always up for anything.
Hi. I'm very quiet homebody, I like a tidy house and go to bed very early because I work at crazy o'clock in the morning(4:45am). I do tend to stick to my room in sharehouses and I don't have people at my house very often I have a beautiful 16 year old cat that has to come with me but can stay in my room if need be. He is amazing he'll only scratch the scratching post never furniture or humans and won't bite.
Hlos, I am Rahul, a super friendly and relaxed IT person from India, who is looking for a new/ share room in the suburbs of Melbourne. Ideally, I am a borderline health freak with a desire to experience many more adventures as hobby. But it is equally true that I am also occasionally a foodie. I love watching Netflix with chips after a long day and cooking or going out during the weekends. As such I am looking for a new place to stay from last week of June and would love to have a face to face chat for a more personal understanding. As I had previously lived in both hostel and share houses I was fortunate enough to make many friends across the globe & also hope to make many new friends in future as well. I would prefer a relaxed and cool house as even though I like to hang out over a glass of wine but I am not a crazy party owl. If you find me good enough as a potential housemate, then please do reply back so that we can chat further Thanks, Rahul
Clean, Friendly, Always respectful of other ppls space. I work fulltime and most weekends so barely home. spend alot of my spare time at the gym also. I'm the sort of person who will probably just hide in his room watching Netflix after work. Thank you:)
I am 38 Land Surveyor with Caribbean origin, and, I have been in Australia for 10 years and mostly in Queensland. I am a very clean person, always think about others and always have been respectful regarding people privacy. I pretty enjoy kiteboarding during my down time, as well as motorbiking, dancing (Latin), a great night out even I don't drink at all, and, anything else that life has to offer. However, I am flexible with the move in date.
I am a peaceful and flexible person. I need a decent place so I can develop myself in all dimensions of life. I am a good teacher and a good student. i work full time. I love science, the supernatural and a new found passion in health development. I have a very good track record in living harmoniously and would appreciate someone who is like minded.
I've been renting all my life (both rooms and apartments/townhouses) and know what makes a good flatmate: reliability; cleanliness; freindliness; respect for other people's preferences. I'd like to think I get a big tick on all four. Although I'm currently looking for work having just moved here from Canberra, I have a guaranteed income of $500 from another source. So, money isn't a problem. I also have a washing machine and some exercise and gardening equipment (treadmill, spin bike, lawnmower etc.) in storage that I could bring if wanted. I am considering going back to university/study next year (used to study Arts/Science at the ANU in my late twenties). I would prefer a friendly but reasonably quiet house as I do like to be able to relax where I'm living. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers! :)
hi i'm bless ,23 i work full-time as a despatch worker 8 hours a day / 5 days a week outside of that i do a lot community service work (school problems) which allow me to travel 2-3 times a year outside of australia i do a lot of youth work and i love to cook i'm fun and easy-going and alway clean up after myself
Hi potential housemates, I’m a well trained, mature gal who has an online spiritual biz. I’m warm hearted and considerate. I love quiet time, but value laughter, and quality communication at home. Cheers 😊
Im pretty chilled out. Like to make music and I do kickboxing in my spare time. Work hard and reliable on bills etc.
I am easy going, respectful, love to have a laugh. I am up for a household dinner or drink every now and again. Neat and tidy, will do my part and am responsible with what needs to be done(punctual and trustworthy). I respect privacy because I expect the same. I am LGBT friendly, am super friendly and approachable. I am not a party animal but I don't mind every now and again. I can be a night owl sometimes but like peace and quiet as well as a bit of party sometimes but not often. I am 21 in November. I am studying music full-time in Yarraville(next to Footscray) and work Part Time in Caroline Springs(however wherever I move I will look for a job closer). I do not drive yet but am aiming to get my licence soon. I have a partner but am looking to live by myself although he would come over sometimes, but is very respectful. I would prefer a large room but NOT 100% necessary. I just need a place to store an upright piano, disassembled drum kit, and maybe some some other small things. The reason I am looking for a place to stay is because my family has moved to Sydney not long ago and I am staying here to work and study further. If you'd like to know anything else, message me for my number and I'll be happy to answer. Look forward to speaking to you!
I’m working full time/casual. I’m from New Zealand, and have been living in Australia for 5 years. I love my music and photography. I’m easy going, respectful of others space also like a chat, I'm open minded and clean and tidy. I love an adventure but I also like going to work and relaxing afterwards.
I’m friendly and down to earth. Im an organised person when it comes to bills & rent. I work at ALDI and have a cat named Missy. I’m honest & reliable.
My current lease finishes in Mid Dec - looking to move into a decent sized place in the Altona area with 1 other. I am a super clean type of person. Happy to socialise, but happy to keep to myself as well. I am very respectful of the personal space of other people. I prefer to socialise outside the house, and would prefer the same in a roommate. I work full time and am a fairly active person - so I'm not home too much, especially in summer, I love to be outside.
I am a 33, female with 2 fairly chilled out cats. I work in community healthcare with non fixed rosters, sometimes random and also studying nursing full time at uni. (At the moment work is in Geelong mostly and uni is st Albans.) I am a fairly sociable person (My friends would say I'm larger than life TBH, its almost like my signature move) but do need to hibernate a little sometimes too. In my down time I might decide to sew a costume to wear out to geeky costumed themed events, try to crochet things, binge on netflix or play the odd video game. Most weekends I like to dance....either as a complete dork around the house or on the dance floor of a club. Sadly its mostly around the house in some trackie's or PJ's with uni in the mix I'm a big kid at heart and happily subscribe to the motto that the first 42 years of childhood is the hardest. (My once teenage housemate can tell you as far as 'dinosaurs' go, I'm pretty cool and will only do my natural little mumma trait thing every now and then. I have no children other than cats and can either lead you to a cheeky kebab at 4am or bed depending on your needs.) I do also have the ability to be a professional when I need to be, which is mostly when I'm working or on placements. All for food adventures and other outings (maybe not a hike, but I will cheer you on) I'm also all for the occasional tabletop game if that were an option. I am an outdoor smoker who will use an ashtray, (I get a bit miffed when other smokers don't use an ashtray or bin their butts.) I do drink occasionally too, but its usually not daily or sometimes even weekly/monthly. I can easily respect communal spaces by tidying up after myself and my cats, along with sharing general duties. Respect of private spaces of others is a big deal to me. (I would honestly have no issue calling someone else getting into your private space uninvited) Mentioned earlier the 2 cats: They are indoor/outdoor, desexed, domestic and mature aged, mother and son. They serve as my steady companion animals and serve each other as companions while I study and work. They are litter/garden trained and are usually pretty chilled. As for accommodation needs: I need an an unfurnished room that will fit a queen sized bed, a desk and a chest of drawers. (I do have a whole house worth of furniture though) I am flexible and open to sharing a flat/house with just one other person or with several others, I'm usually fairly adaptable, and am looking for something that will cover me for a fair few months.
This property is close to Westona train station which is then 25 minute train journey into the heart of Melbourne. It's also far enough away to enjoy plenty of peace and quiet. We have a beach and pier just 15 minutes walk away and are situated right behind a decent golf course. There are plenty of running/bicycle tracks along the coast and a variety of nice restaurants within a short distance. The room has a double bed with bed side tables either side and plenty of wardrobe space. I have linen and towels for the bedroom and the bathroom has both a shower and bath. I already have foxtel and Netflix which is set up in the living room downstairs and all the general household items needed for day to day living. I have overseas visitors coming to stay from the 10 November and would like to have the room free by then. Normally I would not even advertise this but I believe there to be a market for short term stays and I might aswell share my rent cost. No real house rules but I am not into home parties. My home is my retreat and I expect a housemate to share the same opinion. That's not to say I don't like a drink....I just don't bring the party back home. If this interests you in anyway then shoot me your profile and i'll see if our personalities match up. Ideal for anybody needing a place to stop whilst searching for a permanent residence. Ready to move in straight away. Additional spare room to store any belongings if needed
I am extremely chilled, work in the media industry and I have the best 5yo black Labrador named Sunny who is my world. Hoping to find a fellow dog-lover who doesn't mind having dogs live inside. I am reliable, professional and am as comfortable keeping to myself as I am chatting amongst friends/acquaintances or strangers. I am currently living in my hometown in southern NSW and am looking to make the move to Melbourne as soon as possible. I am currently in search of a fulltime job which I should come my way pretty soon given my extensive experience and qualifications in marketing/communications/journalism. I won't be making the move to Melbourne until I have my professional future sorted. I don't mind which part of the city I live in but I guess that could change depending on where I am located with work. However the main sticking point is definitely being able to live in harmony with my beautiful best friend, Sunny!
Im a super clean person, I keep to myself and am more of introvert type. I think I’m funny. Animal lover. Good sence of humour :) I’ve been living on my own for quite a few years. I’m looking to team up and find a place before February next year :) pretty flexible with areas. Though Altona, Newport and Williamstown, is looking pretty good. Im friendly yet someone who keeps more to myself and if I could find someone similar who prefers to socialise outside the house it would be a big bonus :) I think I would prefer more of a house or town house. Rather then small apartment. And Altona/Laverton is looking pretty good for cheep modern houses :) so that area is looking good to me, but I’m flexible. Wanting something quite modern. I have 2 senior cats, but don’t let that be a deterrent! They are 17 and 11. They hide and sleep all day 😂 you won’t even notice they are there , you’ll likely fall in love with them ;) Happy to grab a coffee to discuss more details or see if we are good house match
Hey I’m easy going. Sometimes I am quite and keep to myself. I also enjoy having a chat and socialising. I clean up after myself and I am neat and tidy. Also I enjoy a good fishing session so if I catch the house can enjoy a fresh feed of fish :)
