Hi my name is Finnlay. I'm looking for a place to live while I study an arts degree at UQ next month! Here's a little bit about me...

I am originally from North Queensland, Townsville to be exact. For the majority of my life I've been a musician, and last year I was studying a music degree in Melbourne. I play a variety of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, piano, trumpet, and ukulele but mostly I love to write music.

I also enjoy learning languages. Ich kann ein bisschen Deutsch sprechen, aber ich lerne noch! Currently I'm learning German but I want to eventually learn Japanese, Spanish and Mandarin. If anyone is German or learning any of these please let me know! I'm also planning to major in Linguistics with my arts degree, with minors in psychology and philosophy.

Some other things I love to do is going to galleries and museums - I love art. I love the outdoors. I enjoy going to live gigs, and I can dig a really good movie too.

What I'm looking for...

I'm not a very picky guy, and I have no particulars. Basically I just want a comfortable place to live while I study. Obviously being close to UQ is a bonus but not a must. Would love to see some gigs, perhaps have someone to jam with if there are any musicians keen! I'm a quiet guy at first, but I would love to meet some people who just want to do some cool things together.

Lastly, I've shared housing before. I'm a clean person. I understand boundaries and I've always remained considerate of the other people I live with. Other than that, I'm a gentle guy and super approachable! If you've got a potential room for me or maybe just want to meet first then don't hesitate to contact me!
