Finnian and Charlemagne

I'm a disabled transgender man currently living with 1 other trans man. We are not a couple.
We are looking to move together within the next month but are considering a 3rd housemate.

I study psychology full time, volunteer with mental health orgs. and do contract work in the area of diversity and mental health. He studies medical physics, works in retail and volunteers with RSPCA.

We enjoy painting, gardening and sleeping! We strongly prefer people with an understanding of autism, mental health, chronic illness and queer issues. I do use a walking stick, but I can handle some stairs.

I am a native English speaker, have passable Japanese and am currently learning Auslan. He is a native English speaker.

I have my own car, a small fish tank and my gorgeous calico cat Sushi.
Sushi is small, indoor and toilet trained. She is up to date with her vaccines and boosters, worming and flea treatment. She is also microchipped and desexed. Sushi has tried living with cats in the past, but doesn't get along well with them due to anxiety (not anxious with humans though).

We don't smoke, but occasionally drink. Neither of us are particularly loud, as we don't cope well with loud noise due to my sensory sensitivity.

We currently have full house furnishings plus a spare bed.

My income is DSP (1k/fortnight) + whatever I make from contracts. His is similar, through his job.

Our max is 200 each, but cheaper is definitely preferred.
