Mayank

Hi! My name is Mayank (that's My-ank). I'm a Post Grad student who has just moved to Melbourne. I'm looking for a year long room to rent, preferably in a share house with a yard (I will be bringing my dog down soon once settled). Location can be flexible so long as there's public transport I can take to work nearby and the house is a good fit.

I currently work full time, normal working hours at a hospital lab, though I may start working weekends in the near future. No late night shifts however, so the peace will be kept. Trust.

Love spending my free time outdoors, at the beach (recently got my scuba license) or hiking, hitting up neat cafes, or inside chilling, making beats, reading or on the xbox. Also a closet nerd. LOVE animals to death (they're just too cute and cool). Social but also enjoys my private time. Progressive leaning politically, and LGBT friendly if that matters.

As for sharehouse experience, I have lived in several sharehouses and started two of my own. In these houses we often hung out together in the house for a movie night, drinks or gossip, or would go out together to do stuff that became the subject of later gossip. We were just as happy to do our own thing too, so a balanced and comfortable house dynamic would be great.

As a housemate I am clean, supportive and respectful. What's more, I come with a robo vacuum now, so domestic duties should be eased. I usually follow a weekly roster, but do not impose that on others, it just helps me to keep organised. I'm also a huge shit talker once the shy phase is over, so be warned. I also help check boxes if you need an ethnic fronting person in your life for whatever purposes. I got you.

Fave movie: probably The Thing or Aliens, shouts out to the LotR trilogy (horror movies are king)
Fave albums: Rodeo, Trilogy and Taboo (but also a huge Flume and Rufus du Sol fan)
Fave books: 1984 (I'm a sadomasochist apparently), and anything that's short.
