Looking for a room from 20 Feb 2026.

Hi, I am Naga, originally from southern India and living in Australia since 2014. I did my PhD in USQ, Toowoomba and worked in the same university. I moved to Brisbane in early 2020 and lived on Shafston Avenue, Kangaroo Point for 1.5 years, thereafter I have been living in Fortitude Valley since April 2022. I work in pharmaceutical company in Albion so I prefer to live close to my work location and also near city preferably close to the river.

I am an active person and maintain a healty lifestyle. I enjoy outdoors, riverside walk or run, hiking, traveling. My daily routine is off to work by 7:30 in morning and evenings out to gym and run for marathon training. On weekends I usually go out for long run or river walk, farmers markets, socialise with friends, sometimes travel and hike. I have been to all the seven continents mostly as uni student, living as a backpacker so I have plenty of exciting stories to share. I easily mix with new people and make friends. I am social, and will also give others their privacy. At times after work I may prefer to have quiet time in my personal space to recharge. I don't smoke, rarely drink usually when am out with friends on an occasion. I don't have pets but I don't mind dogs or cats, they are cute after all.

I am looking for a single room in a well furnished apartment or house. I have lived in student accommodation townhouse for six years in Toowoomba and in shared units in Brisbane past 3 years so I am experienced in living with housemates in friendly manner, sharing the housekeeping and maintaining the common amenities well. I always paid rent, bills in time, no hassles on that front. I manage a clean room in sterile lab so I can definitely keep my room and living areas clean especially the kitchen after cooking and dining.
