🌿 Looking for a new place to call home! 🌿
Hey 👋 potential new house mate!
I’m putting it out into the universe that the right home finds me. I’m hoping to create my next chapter somewhere around Elwood, St Kilda, or Port Melbourne. I have a car, so a parking space is a must.
Ideally, I’m looking for a room with its own bathroom and a decent-sized wardrobe (this girl has a lot of clothes 😅).
I’m only looking to share with one other person, either male or female. I’d love to live with someone who’s genuine, kind, considerate, respectful, and reasonably tidy (without being over the top about cleaning).
I’m definitely someone who likes to keep shared spaces clean and comfortable. I love waking up to a tidy kitchen, so I’m a big believer in washing up after ourselves rather than letting dishes pile up overnight. That said, if you happened to leave a plate or mug behind, I’d happily wash it for you—and I’d hope we’d have that same easy, considerate attitude towards each other.
It would be lovely if we had a few things in common and got along well. I’m still relatively new to Melbourne and don’t have a huge network of friends here yet, so it would be nice to live with someone who’s also open to building a genuine friendship. I’m definitely not looking for someone to spend every minute with, we’ll both have our own lives, but it would be nice to share the occasional coffee, walk, movie night or chat. I think having that kind of connection makes a house feel more like a home, and it’s nice knowing you have someone looking out for you, just as I would for them.
A bit about me:
I’m 33, and work as an international flight attendant, which means I’m away for a few days at a time but also home to recharge and ground myself for stretches in between.
I’m into self-care, journaling, yoga, breathwork, reading, weightlifting, hiking, and cooking wholesome meals. Music is my therapy, and I love discovering live gigs or a looking forward to a festival. While I enjoy a good time out every now and then, I’m not looking for a party house—just a peaceful space with good vibes. I rarely drink, but I can still enjoy an occasional wine.
Now, let’s talk perks! Having a flight attendant as a flatmate means access to duty- free alcohol, fun travel stories, and you get to sample all the different snacks I’ve picked up along the way. Since I’m away for a few days at a time, you’ll have the place to yourself to enjoy some peace and quiet. However, when I do arrive back in the early hours after working night shift, I ask for some respect and consideration in creating a peaceful quiet place for me to catch up on some Zzzz 🙏
If this sounds like your vibe, let’s connect and see if we’re the right match!
