Hi, I'm Matt. I'm 37, just finished my MBA assignments and exams at Bond (graduating in October) and I'm now lining up full-time work whilst doing part-time AI and tech training for clients, some on-site at their business and some from my laptop. When I'm home I'm mostly in my room with the door shut getting on with it, so you won't have me taking over the lounge or the kitchen bench. Financially stable, references on hand, and looking for a place that actually feels like home rather than a bed to crash in.
I'm the flatmate who pays rent and bills on time, every time (I like being on top of that sort of thing), keeps shared spaces clean and respects that everyone needs their own space. So if you want a housemate who's low-maintenance but still up for a coffee or a beach walk now and then, that's me.
A little more of an idea of who I am: a bit of a geek possibly as I'll likely be in a full time government role before long, however I've also signed up for a new part-time degree in artificial intelligence because I find it fascinating. I've got hundreds of audiobooks on business, finance, philosophy and personal development and when not working or studying, you'll find me at the gym most weekday mornings, trying a new breathwork class, or exploring nature, especially around the ocean.
What I'm after: a furnished room in a calm, drama-free, smoke-free, (I've got mild asthma, so smoke-free is non-negotiable) house. Off-street parking is ideal but I'm flexible on that if there’s easy parking just out front. Aiming to move in by the end of September and available for inspections most days. (Available with 2 weeks notice once I find the right home.)
Happy to provide references. Feel free to reach out if you think we'd be a good fit!
