Rowan

History: I'm a parent of 5 grown children(4F &1M), all out on their own, some with their own children. I've just survived my third year since my 18 year companion's passing. So far it hasn't been easy but, hey, forward is the only way to go. I moved back to Sydney from the NSW mid-north coast after 14 years away. Now I seek somewhere to find myself again.

Present: I'm a quiet person who loves to read, I like to watch a little television, mostly in the evening. I've was trying to learn to knit and crochet before the disaster that turned my life upside down. I used to like to cook sometimes, though I haven't really bothered recently. I enjoy sitting outside should the weather permit. I like feeding the native birds (and the not so native too). My last home the magpies (my feathered children) and lorikeets (happy dancer birds according to my niece) learned it was safe to take food from my hands.

I like things to be clean and tidy.

I'm not the party type. I don't mind loud music and if it doesn't do it for me, I can always go into my bedroom and put on noise cancelling headphones.

I am on a Disability Pension. I believe in paying the rent first and foremost, then pay any other bills after that. It's gotten me through life with a stability I don't see in too many other people. I don't like attracting attention (positive or negative) for similar reasons. I just want some peace and quiet, hope and happiness. I don't think that is too much to wish for.
