I am a 42 year-old woman who likes to spend her spare time catching up with family and friends whether that be on the weekends for coffee or a meal, or through the week for a movie or the like. I also value time in my own space, and as such, am mindful of respecting the importance of that in others. I am a trained registered nurse, however, have chosen to take a career detour, and now find my passion in helping the elderly remain in their own homes for as long as possible by delivering services provided to them as part of a home care package. I am passionate about both of these roles, and pride myself on delivering a high level of care and dedication to my job, and to anything else I pursue in life. I previously owned my own unit, however, due to circumstances beyond my control, had to sell it and move in with my parents, where I have helped to support them and provide care in different areas as required. I maintained a clean environment, carrying out delegated tasks as required such as garden maintenance and pool care and cooking of meals. I am a non smoker. I try to exercise to the best of my ability, and my favourite thing to do is to spend time with my beautiful 2 1/2 year old Maltese/Shitzu cross. She is toilet trained, incredibly lazy but an absolute joy to be around when she's not sleeping 20hrs per day!
