Hi! I’m Wan (male, 35), originally from Norway and moving to Melbourne to study AI/IT at RMIT. I arrive in Melbourne on 19th of February and would be ready to move in from 1 March, though I can be flexible by a few days either way. I come from a professional background in finance and compliance and am now making a deliberate transition into the technology field.
My weekday routine is fairly structured, mainly focused on study, work, regular gym sessions, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I’m not a party person, but I’m friendly, easy to get along with, and enjoy occasional dinners, conversations, good laughs, and exploring the city. For me, home is a calm and respectful space to rest and recharge rather than a place for late nights.
I’m clean, tidy, reliable, financially stable, and very used to shared living. I value clear communication, mutual respect, and a drama-free household. In my free time, I stay socially active in a low-key way, keep a consistent gym routine, and enjoy reading.
What I’m looking for:
• Studio or room in a shared house/apartment
• Close to the CBD or with easy transport access
• Preferred areas: Carlton, Southbank, Fitzroy, Docklands, North Melbourne, South Yarra, South/West Brunswick (open to similar nearby suburbs)
• Budget: $350–400 per week
