Mariana and Guilherme

I'm a 29 year old PhD student coming from Brazil to conduct part of my research here at Victoria University. I'll be in Australia till end June, so looking for a 3 months stay.
Also, my partner, who is an academic in Brazil (same uni as me), is coming to Melbourne to work on a project with my supervisor. He’ll be here for 1 month, so I need a place that accepts a couple for this period.
I'm a communicative person and enjoy making friends, but also I like to have my space, and always respecting others' boundaries.
I’ll be most of the time at VU, and sometimes studying/working from home. In my free time, I enjoy watching series, going to parks, cafes, movies, having a drink, a chat...
In terms of organization and cleanliness, I strive to keep things clean and organized, specially the shared spaces. I’m house trained, I clean up after myself and I have no problem sharing household chores.
Searching for a room that’s not more than 1 hour away from the CBD by public transport, preferably near a train/tram stop.
Really want to find a place that feels like home ✨
