Hi, I’m CJ — a full-time working professional (Director of Engineering) in my 40s (though I’ve been repeatedly told my energy levels suggest otherwise).
Independent, clean (not in the clinical “OCD” way, more in the “yes, I actually own a vacuum and use it” kind of way), and respectful.
A self-confessed gelato connoisseur, I’ve travelled the globe — from the cobbled lanes of Florence to hidden backstreets in Milan — on a noble quest for the perfect scoop.
And yet, after all that exploration, nothing quite rivals our homegrown legend: Messina. Their “Super Dulce de Leche” could probably solve minor world problems.
When I’m not indulging in dessert diplomacy, you’ll find me cheering on the AFL, hitting the gym, or plotting my next getaway. Having proudly represented Australia in swimming, I still find peace in a quiet ocean swim — my reset button after a long week.
I’m on the lookout for a home that feels like an exhale — clean, comfortable, and calm. Ideally with a like-minded flatmate who enjoys a respectful, easygoing vibe (bonus points if you, too, know the agony of dropping a fresh scoop of gelato).
Qualities I value in a housemate:
1️⃣ Clean & Tidy: You don’t need to polish the cutlery, but if you rinse your dishes, we’ll get along just fine.
2️⃣ Respectful: Friendly banter is encouraged; personal space is sacred.
3️⃣ Quiet & Considerate: Knows when to chat and when to let Netflix do the talking.
4️⃣ Positive Energy: Good vibes only — no passive-aggressive Post-it notes here.
If you’re after a flatmate who’s easygoing, courteous, and comes with a built-in sense of humour (and possibly gelato recommendations for life), we’ll be an excellent match.
