My name is Mel, I am searching for a place to call home(long-term ideally), a safe space to decompress in and unwind from the fast paced madness of society. I'm an extroverted introverted character, who enjoys being social and also requires quite a bit of down time, and believe I have a good balance of play and chill. I have a variety of interests and love for activities, including but not limited to climbing, dancing, nature, and people. I am deeply curious about learning, and my passions in life revolve around people and movement. Once nestled and feeling settled, I would like to spend more time upskilling in sewing, and exploring painting. I am also a big lover of cinema and philosophy (and always can find time to smash a game of banagrams). I split my energy between performing arts, creative, queer and outdoor recreational communities.

My ideal home is a calm, welcoming environment, where my nervous system feels at ease and shared with others that feel similarly, are emotionally mature, and self-aware. A non-judgemental household, that values open communication, playfulness, mutual care, and also appreciates cleanliness and shared responsibilities. I'm not the biggest gardener but I am an enthusiastic working bee, and do get in the garden (and enjoy talking to my plants haha!). I am a clean and considerate housemate, who is share-house trained, reliable, financially stable/pays bills on time, and a house proud being.
