Hi! I’m Bonita, 25, from Amsterdam. I graduated in Cultural Anthropology last year and moved to Melbourne in August after spending a few months solo travelling around Southeast Asia. I’m currently settling into life here and planning to stay for the longer term, so I’d love to find somewhere that feels like an actual home rather than just a place to sleep.

I’m currently working at two bars in Melbourne and have a pretty stable routine going. Back in Amsterdam, I worked in hospitality, nightlife and music journalism. I’m really passionate about electronic music and club culture, and spend a lot of my free time going to gigs, collecting records and learning to DJ. Outside of music, I love writing, reading, cooking, exhibitions, good conversations and exploring the city.

I’ve lived in share houses for the past six years, so I’m very used to sharing a space and am clean, considerate and respectful of others. I’m sociable and love living with people I genuinely get along with, whether that means cooking together, having a wine or just catching up after a long day. At the same time, I’m quite independent and really value my own space and downtime.

Ideally, I’m looking for a warm, relaxed and welcoming home with housemates who enjoy spending time together while respecting each other’s independence.
