Hi! I’m a 28 year-old Art & Social Sciences teacher from Sweden who moved to Australia to get away from the cold!

I’ve lived in shared houses for many years, so I’ve experienced the full flatmate spectrum and being very sociable, I’ve realised I prefer living with people over living by myself.

I think a good home should be a safe, relaxed place where you can be yourself. I love having people around, but I’m equally respectful of closed bedroom doors, alone time and the occasional “I don’t want to talk to anyone today” day.

Clear friendly communication is important to me. I’d much rather just say what’s up than let tiny annoyances grow into a 17-page mental spreadsheet. And yes, cleanliness matters. After 8 years of shared living, I’ve seen things. 😅 I’m not expecting a showroom but common areas should be clean and everyone should do their bit.

I love art, beaches, people-watching, exploring Australia and meeting interesting people. I think sharing a home can be a genuinely beautiful thing: kindness, good conversations, mutual respect and the occasional late-night debrief over a cup of tea.
