The location is amazing. We are on Melville road Brunswick west above a convenience store, between a great liquor store and a hairdresser. Also on our strip is a barber, a beauty salon, a pizza place, a fantastic cafe with great coffee, a pharmacy and Red rooster and a gas station around the corner. Also the 58 tram stops right out the front door so it's so convenient to go to the city!
Hi I'm Brigitte and I'm looking for accomodation in Melbourne. - I'm 28yrs old - Originally from Sydney, have been living in Melbourne for the past year. - a non-smoker. - a part-time shift worker (12pm-8pm and 8pm-4am shifts). I am looking for an unfurnished room to rent living with one or two other housemates and good parking conditions. I need a space big enough for a double bed and a desk as I like to draw in my spare time. I work as a Gaming Dealer at Crown Casino and have been working in the gaming industry for 8 years now. My role requires me to work a rotating roster (2 months day shifts / 2 months night shifts). As a tenant I would describe myself as quiet, reliable and clean. Happy to share my tv and apple tv set up and pay for netflix. I can also provide a washing machine or fridge.
Hello, We are three housemates looking for a fourth. We have a large private room with a built in wardrobe available for only $159p/w plus bills! The house is quite large. We have a big backyard, large kitchen with a lot of bench space. Also a large lounge area where we watch the odd tv show, movie or play video games. The house is better suited to people that drive. Public transport is still an option depending on where you need to go. There is a nearby bus stop but the train station and tram stop are both about 15 mins away up hill. If you do drive you will find heaps of parking space available on the street that is unrestricted. The location is good in a lot of ways. Sydney road is a $10 uber away or less which has lots of fun and interesting places to check out. Moonee Ponds has a large selection of shops and supermarkets for groceries. If feeling lazy, there is an IGA at the end of the street on Albion street which is also next to Rude Boys burger. The house is nearby the Moreland rd Freeway entrance/exit which is handy for people the use the freeway regularly. The house has one shower and one bathroom but both are in separate rooms. We all work at different times so there generally isn't too much congestion when needing the shower or bathroom etc. About the housemates.. We are three males, a 24 year old and two 28 year olds. We have our separate lives but occasionally hang out at the house or do social things together, usually on Sydney rd. We are mainly looking for a housemate that fits in well, plans to stay for at least 6 months and is generally friendly and respectful. We don't mind if you are more introverted or extroverted or whatever gender etc, its mainly about being a good fit so their is a positive and laid back atmosphere at the house Cheers Tom
Hi. I'm looking to live with one or two females aged 35-50 ideally. I'm down to earth and earth friendly neither a vegetarian or a carnivore but leaning more toward the veggies (ie happy not to cook meat at home if that is your preference) I like to write, sing, play the guitar (just a beginner) speak French (a little) and visit the sites and delights of Melbourne. Like to recycle bottle tops and bread clips and REDcycle. Hold a special interest in theatre and music and enjoy discussing this interest with others. Listen to community radio mostly PBS, RRR, RN, INNER FM, JOY and watch very limited TV as there is not much on free to air that interests! Enjoy listening to Podcasts of Science shows and new Musical theatre in particular. Looking for a place that really feels like a home where I can relax, unwind and share a cuppa or something stronger from time to time! I'd like to live with a non smoker who has no pets (allergic these days) Working part time and looking to compliment this with a second job. Move date can be negotiated. Have references from current and previous housemates. Look forward to meeting you. :) Thanks
Hey guys! We are looking for a new flat mate to join us in our beautiful new home in Brunswick West and for someone with good energy! We enjoy socializing and catching up with each other over dinner or a cheeky drink but also value this house as a quiet sanctuary and like to keep it clean and tidy. We are literally 50m away from the 58 tram line and a 8 min ride to Sydney Rd (great bars, cafes, parks, restaurants) We have lovely wooden floor boards with a bright spacious living area. The kitchen is huge with heaps of space for all your storage needs! We have a nice back yard with plenty of room and garden beds if you have a green thumb and want to grow things! (As we are slowly expanding our army of plants) The room is located upstairs and is medium sized, It has built in wardrobe for all your clothes and shoes. It shares a Bath, Shower and toilet with one other person Edwina. If you are interested please message us with a little spiel about yourself and we can organise a viewing! Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Nav, Liv and Edwina
Hey Hey. So this is the weird part that we all hate where we talk about ourselves haha but I'm a 31 year old chick who has an absolute wacky obsession with all things fashion so I run a Vintage Clothing business from home. I'm always cruising at the Market's with a stall or at any other art/community events I can get my hands on. I also work Casually at Platypus Shoes selling some kicks a couple days a week. So, I'd be working from home maybe 2 - 3 days during the week and weekends I'm usually always out at markets for the most part. I've been living in Newcastle for the last year (originally from the Central Coast) and became so close with my roomies (absolute legends) that I am following them to Vic to start on a new adventure. I love to be a part of the local art/music scene and looking forward to a Summer full of wild fashion, markets, gigs, events, and just some really valuable chill time with the special peeps and fellow friends that I hopefully get to make! I've lived in share houses my whole adult life, I love living with a really down to earth easy going crew, will respect your privacy, and will clean up after myself. I do enjoy being fairly social and going out to enjoy things when I feel like it, but I respect the fact that I am sharing a house and you won't find me in the way, and if you find yourself up at night needing a glass of wine and a D&M, I can be that girl for you. I am super open-minded and get on with pretty much almost everyone that I meet. I'm keen as a bean to meet some cool cats in Melbs, so, if I sound like ya girl and you need a new roomie, hit me up, especially if you are a fellow 420 friendly spot!
I’m a 20-year-old Danish girl who just moved to Melbourne. I’m going to be living here for a little while and I therefore wish to find a more permanent room than a hostel. I was living in Paris last year, so I do have experience in living with others and renting rooms. I am furthermore also very interested in the plant-based lifestyle and diet :)
Hi! I'm looking for a private room with a shared space or flat to rent for the month of October. I'm an easy going Canadian moving to Australia for my job in Environmental Monitoring. I'll be working full time while in Melbourne, I'm social, quiet, calm, tidy and respectful. I'm pretty adventurous, love to travel, design and create, and spend as much time as possible outdoors. I'm hoping to find a place with parking either on the street or in a driveway. I'm really looking forward to being in Melbourne and hoping to find a good space to live for awhile and maybe even make a few new friends. If you think I would be a good fit let me know! :) Cheers, Graham
I am a doctor in social psychology, doing a work and holiday stance in Melbourne. I am a calm person looking for someplace to stay for several months. My parents have a restaurant, so it would be nice to share some recipes. I like art (especially cinema), chess and personal development.
Two easy going girls from Sweden looking for a place to stay for our working holiday. We’re responsible and tidy, smoke free and overall good housemates. When we’re not at work making latte art we’ll be exploring the city. We love going out and have a good time, but also want a chill place to have some down time in. Do you have a spare room you think would suit us? Feel free to hit us up! Regards, Samantha and Emma

Hi there, I’m Anna! I’m back in Melbourne after travelling around Australia for a few months. I grew-up in Geelong but I’ve been living in Melbourne (on and off) for the past 6 years. I’m passionate about public health and am starting a Master of Ageing at Melbourne Uni in October - I’ll be studying and working part-time. I’m looking for a relaxed share-house to join. I’m friendly, reliable and like to keep my space clean and tidy. When I’m not working or studying, I’m relaxing at home or out with friends. I’m hoping to find a place from the start of October, but am flexible with this date.
