Full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Easy going, like to keep things pretty low key. Originally from central Victoria. Am into good films and books, cooking, music. I receive Centrelink youth allowance payments which cover my rent regardless of whether I am employed or not.
I'm Lydia, 30, and work at Toyota, though my experience before this is in humanitarian aid sector. I'm pretty easy going, like to share a meal with housemates occasionally, a glass of wine or beer and a good chat are always good, but I understand that home is a sanctuary and space/alone time is important. I love reading, enjoy a good meal, pubs, playing ultimatum games and a good laugh. I think it's important to make the effort to make a share house a home, not just a house. I like to keep communal spaces clean, and cooking for housies. I'm very easy going and flexible. I think it's important to respect others' space and time.
I am a tidy, open-minded, social girl who wish to live with other young people, but requires a little private space however. I will study Fashion Design BA at RMIT, Brunswick Campus from February to July. Dont worry about paying the bills on time, I will do, as I have won a scholarship which covers most of my living expenses. I am a responsible adult, who can take care after herself, and always has time to clean up, because I cant live in a dirty environment. I cant cook, but love to eat.
Danish architecture student on exchange in Melbourne. Hoping to share a place with happy housemates February-June. Hi! I’m a Danish architecture student looking for a room in Melbourne during my exchange semester at RMIT. I’m hoping to share a place with housemates, as well as having my own private room. I expect to spend a lot of time at uni, but I’d love the company of flatmates for the time I'm home, and occasionally share a meal together. I'm always up for a coffee and a chat, or a friday night glass of wine. I enjoy climbing, yoga, travelling, cycling around the city, and cooking with friends. I also like listening to lots of podcasts which means I might sometimes have weird facts/stories to share. I'm considerate and have lived with others before, and I'm vegan. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you have anything available.

We have just moved here from Ireland. Leaving our jobs as a web developer and account manager to try a bit of something new! Having been told Melbourne is the place for us by a lot of people we are excited to experience the lifestyle! We are both social and fun people. We tend to spend our week days working, exercising, reading, watching Netflix etc. and our weekends going to gig's or festivals, digging thru record stores, having a beer or coffee and hopefully exploring our new city! If you would like to know more, just message me.
Hey there, we are Sorrelle and Dan (aged 22 & 21) a couple from Newcastle NSW looking to make the move to Melbourne in the coming month to begin Uni at RMIT. Sorrelle studies Industrial Design, works part time as a barista and loves being outdoors. Dan studies Surveying, likes listening to lots of different music and going to gigs. We are both easy going, friendly and considerate people, who like to hang out, maybe have a few drinks but also enjoy some quiet down time. We don’t really have any major preferences, just looking for similarly easy going people. We are coming down to Melbourne on Thursday the 18th until the following Tuesday 23rd to look at houses. So if you think we could fit into your household and have any available times to have a meet up, show us around your house and maybe hang out for a little, please let us know. Thanks! Sorrelle & Dan 😊
I'm very considerate and amicable, tidy and communicative. I have very eclectic tastes, play the accordion, love to cook, watch all the movies, like all the musics and am currently starting up a mushroom farm with my partner. I'm super friendly and enjoy a good philosophical yarn over a glass of wine but also appreciate my own space and time alone.
Hi! I'm Renee and my partner moving with me is Dan. We're looking for a place where we can be comfortable, make some new friends in our house mates and find a new home. We'd love somewhere that has a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still being clean, tidy and functional. We look forward to being able to spend quality time with our new housemates, sharing meals together, bingeing our favourite TV shows, or having a quiet night in playing board games and having a drink or two. We (especially me) love animals and would love it if you did too, a friendly dog or cat around the house would be no problem at all. A bit about us... We're moving down from Sydney as I am soon to start a Master of Genetic Counselling at Melbourne Uni! So I will be studying full time and working part time. Dan is a psychologist, currently working with young people, and will be working full time. As I am moving down for the start of uni I will be arriving from the end of January to mid February (date flexible). Dan will be finishing a few things up here in Sydney and hopefully moving down in March/April. We're both active people who love spending time outside (particularly hiking or bushwalking). I love to read, do fun crafty things like knitting (somehow my projects rarely get finished) and I love cooking/baking (my jams and chutnies are in high demand), I'm also mildly obsessed with dogs. Dan enjoys keeping fit and active (running, boxing classes and hopes to take up bike riding), and then likes to come home to relax watching Netflix or having a good chat. We're both quite left leaning and I'm veg (I guess technically pescatarian as I occasionally eat seafood) and Dan is happy to eat veg a lot of the time although he hasn't quite converted yet. We're also both definitely LQBTIQA+ friendly! If we sound like a good fit for your household please feel free to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
Hey all! My name is Zal, I've just arrived back in Melbourne after doing a stint in Hobart for 6 months. I'm always up for a chat or a beer but respectful of your space. I'm clean. I love to cook and would love to for you whenever I can. In my spare time I like to read, write and go to gigs and festivals. Rarely in a foul mood, I'm chilled out and super easy to get along with :) Would love to find a place with a nice vibe, not just a house but a home where everyone are friends, not just living together in the same space.
Hi. I'm 31, originally from Perth but have lived in London for the last six years and am now looking to relocate to Melbourne. I am clean and pretty laid back. Looking to move sometime in Feb 2018 but the move date is flexible.
I am Lydia, a 30 year old female and have just moved back to Melbourne after living abroad for two years. Before leaving I lived in the north side of Melbs in a variety of share houses for ten years. You could say I am house trained! I love a house that is friendly, warm and accepting of everyone. I’m tidy and clean but not weird about it, laidback and progressive. In my day to day life I am a graphic designer and currently freelancing but looking at potentially moving to a different role now that I’m settling back into Melbourne. Generally I’m into art, music, living a plant based life (not weird about that either), petting all animals wherever possible and thinking about trying out life as a cyclist….
I'm moving to Melbourne to study textile design, and am looking for some nice people to live with. I like time to myself, but generally I'm pretty busy/ social, and always like to try new things or see new places. If I'm not at uni or work, I'll go op shopping, listen to music, draw, cook, read, watch movies/ questionable documentaries, or go out for drinks and a boogie. I'm tidy, organised and will be considerate of your lifestyle preferences, but would also enjoy living with people who are comfortable kicking it together occasionally ✌ If you want to know anything else feel free to send me a message!
We are an easy going and fun couple from Brisbane who have moved down for uni. We are both pretty career and study driven but we always take breaks to enjoy life a little through exploring the city or the closest beach.
Considerate of other people and tidy. I'm good with people and animals. I am a counsellor in private-practice and financially stable. I enjoy cycling, yoga, meditation, heading out into the great outdoors and quality conversation. I would be the ideal housemate if you are searching for someone friendly who enjoys living in a warm and peaceful household. Ideally I would like to live in a house or townhouse, rather than an apartment. By the way it's just me as I have no companion animals
URGENT! I’m a pretty easy going guy, I basically work and study full time as a nursing student and train boxing on days that i have free. I’m extremely clean so helping keep the place clean will never be a issue. I enjoy cooking so happy to share a meal and converse .. I occasionally have my fiance over, she’s pretty cool and social. I’d like to live with somebody who’s pretty laid back, clean and and understands personal space.

I recently got a job in Melbourne and am looking for a place to live. From a rural property in NSW, so pretty excited/nervous about moving to Melbourne. I'm a fun, outgoing individual who's always keen for a social night out or just a few quiet beers at home. When I'm not working I like to hang out with mates, get active, be social. I'm a keen gym goer, but also love my pizza and beer. I like to live in a clean environment, so I'll always clean up after myself. Non-smoker, regular drinker. If you want to know more about me check me out or you can get in touch and we can have a chat. I also have a vehicle so would like a place where I can park my vehicle, either off-street or on-street parking.
