I'm an international student from the US studying engineering at the University of Melbourne, starting July 2017. At that point I'll have been on the road for 10 months, through Europe and some of Africa, so after that adventure I'm very looking forward to having a place to call my own. Never ready to stop the excitement though! Always new things to be done, seen, tasted, heard, wherever you are, and I'm just looking for some good people to share the journey with.
Seeking a fun and friendly housemate with good vibes to take our soon to be empty room! We are looking for someone who enjoys a family like feel to their sharehouse, who enjoys a good balance between both hanging out with everyone and having their own quiet time. Rent is $570 a month, bond is $500 a month. Bills/ internet are divided between the three of us as they come in. There's also Netflix and Stan included with the house, so plenty of binging opportunities for this winter. The house is a short walking distance to the public transport, with both the 55 tram, and the 508 and 506 bus within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The house is cosy and quite kitsch, with a classic 50's vibe from checkered vinyl flooring and retro 50's cabinetry. The property is on a 600 sqm2 block, so the backyard is large enough for backyard chilling, to make your own veggie garden if you want to, or to have a bunch of friends over for a summer BBQ. There are some baby chickens currently residing in the backyard, and one veggie garden bed with capsicum and tomatoes growing. The neighbour out the back has two huge plum trees, and he shares big buckets of plums when the end of summer comes around. The room will be available on the 2nd May, as the dude moving out isn't leaving until the 1st May. The bedroom will come unfurnished, so you will need your own bedroom furniture. We are looking for someone who will fit in with the chill vibe of the house, and is cool to contributing as a household member to general cleaning and whatnot! And for someone who enjoys a wine and communal dinner in the evenings/ over the weekend. We don't expect it to be spotless 24/7, but we like to keep a generally tidy house. Looking for someone who is punctual with rent and bills :) One housemate is 420 friendly, so if you're discreet, you're welcome to join. There are an array of animals here, with two dogs, an indoor cat and a handful of baby chickens, so you need to be ok with animals! Unfortunately, due to having sometimes free ranging chickens, other dogs would be too much. Cats would be considered, if they're indoor.
Zac:: Freelance graphic designer, also doing an online sociology degree at uni full time (currently first year). I like to make art, grow veggies, hike, binge watch whatever shows I'm currently addicted to. Bit of an introvert / extrovert hybrid, depending on the mood I can either be up for long chats and random adventures, or just keen to stay in and chillout with some music or movies. Ra:: Black kitty who likes to chase toys and catch mice. Bit of a weirdo who wags his tail like a dog (not kidding), can't meow (never learned to or something??) and makes a chirping sound at meal times kinda like a velociraptor... He's fully toilet trained (ie. there's not even kitty litter in the house because he only ever toilets outside) and he's very low maintenance – not attention seeking, doesn't shed hair etc.
I've moved back from living the last few years in London. I would like to meet housemates who want a home, not just a place to live. I work full time as an Occupational Therapist. In my spare time I catch up with friends, volunteer and have enjoyed re- discovering Melbourne city.
Beth: Very relaxed, very nerdy, bad at cooking, good at baking, bad at general social interaction. That's the general gist of me I suppose! I'm a creative person, predominantly skilled in film making but can do a whole range of things. I'm easygoing, passive and quiet. Jarrod: super chill, mega nerd, good at cooking and baking, I think I can make friends with almost anyone. dreams of one day being a world renowned musician, pretty good bartender, so good for parties and such. and yeah. We have two cats as well, Bruce and Pumpkin. Bruce is well... not very nice. He likes to bite. Probably best to not try and make friends with him. He is very large (half Maine Coon) and very floppy (Half Ragdoll). Pumpkin on the other hand, she looves pats and friends and is the most adorable little thing. She is smaller than your average cat, she loves to just hang out. We are currently living in an apartment but have recently had a big change to our circumstances so need somewhere cheaper to live. Our lease runs out June 15th so we're looking to move in the week before that when we'll be able to afford to pay rent and bond for another place. We have lots of furniture, most of which we are happy to sell if there's no room but a couple pieces we'd like to keep if possible. Generally we're just a chill couple that likes to hang out with people sometimes and are very creative... Feel free to contact me and ask any questions or whatever. Cheers!

Hi I'm Holly. 27 years old and working full time as a teacher, however am considering changing industries. I'm looking for a share house with the perfect balance of spending time together but also having respect for one anothers privacy. I have lived overseas and lived in sharehouses for nearly 3 years. I am domesticated, enjoy cooking and understand the financial responsibilities of paying rent and all that comes with it. I am a social person but also cherish my down time. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life but I feel like I have a tendency to be a little left of centre, so I tend to bond most with like minded souls. I am very laid back, just like to have a mutual respect policy. More than anything I like to laugh, its very important for my sanity to not take life too seriously. That being said, I do have a serious side and am very interested in current affairs, politics etc.
I am a fun and outgoing guy and just moved over from across the ditch (New Zealand) to start a full time job in the CBD. I enjoy going out, socialising having a drink (or 6) with mates/future flatmates in the weekend but also enjoy having downtime to relax/netflix at home! New to Australia I would love to explore the city and what it has to offer! I enjoy people's company and I would like to think (and hope) people enjoy mine too! I think I would make a great flatmate to live with! My hobbies include playing sports such as tennis, badminton and cricket socially and I do like to stay fit by either playing these sports or going for runs/gym (gains). I like to live with clean surroundings, enjoy cooking and cleaning up after myself. If this doesn't sound like the perfect flatmate then I don't know what does

Hi ! I'm Régis, I'm a french student in an engineering school in Paris. I'll be 3 months in Melbourne for an internship at the university. I'm looking for a shared house around the university where I could find a friendly environment I think I'm clean and easy going person :) I'm passionate of music ( I play piano and accordion ) and I like very much mountain sports :-) I practice rock climbing and I hope can do some in Melbourne ! I also do enjoy visiting and exploring, so I look forward to moving a bit to see Melbourne and its surroundings :)
Hey, I'm Ebony! I'm a 20 year old looking for a home for my dog and I. I'm a clean, open-minded and friendly person who loves all kinds of art and am an absolute music fiend. I write songs and sing a lot, mostly to my dog, but also sometimes at venues. I'm originally from country New South Wales and have been living in Melbourne for a bit over a year. I moved here to pursue a creative and free life with more access to art, music, and work options. I'm currently looking for bar work, work occasionally as a model, and have money for bond and rent ready to go. Ideally, the household I am looking for is pet-friendly, 420 friendly (however discreet I need to be), and all around just friendly people who respect personal space and are pretty chilled out :) I'm a quiet yet chatty person who loves my downtime and loves spending time with my partner (Matt, 25, gamer, bartender, legend), my dog, and working on creative projects. My previous housemate says that I'm "sweet and always keen to share a story". Cruizer is a 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Staffy), who is tiny for her breed, only has half her teeth, has a very unique walk and is the most loving and adorable little baby you will ever meet. She sleeps inside with me on my bed, and needs to continue to do so in our new home. Looking for long or short term stay and ready ASAP [[ALTERNATIVELY: Looking for a backyard/car spot for my small campervan - can pay bills/rent - will only need access to bathroom and kitchen - long or short term stay]] Hope to hear from you :)

I love photography, film, basketball, running and quite recently I've been getting into a bit of surfing. I've got all my own furniture and a TV if the living room is lacking one. I hope to find a great room and meet even greater people.
