I am clean, respectful, responsible, and friendly. I spend my time rock climbing, doing yoga, cooking, and hanging out with friends. I eat healthy and don't really party, but I love being social and having a good time. I lived in Melbourne for about 8 months in 2010, so I'm familiar with the culture and looking forward to coming back! I'm from Richmond, VA, in the States, but have spent about three years working, living, and traveling abroad. I am not arriving in Melbourne until June, but my plan is to spend about three months working and saving money, and then buy a van to travel and climb throughout the country.
Hey! I'm looking for a place long term and can move in now/whenever! More about me: I'm a second year arts student at Melbourne Uni studying history and media. I'm busy throughout the week so I'll be in and out of the house quite often. I'm sociable but chill and love a good chat about anything really. Things I like: I'm a major film buff and like music and art. I like cooking (or trying to anyway). Gigs and pubs are my go to whenever I'm free.
Hi Guys, I've been in a 4 bedroom terrace house in Carlton North for the last 6 years, however sadly the house is disbanding as the landlord wants to take the place back so am now on the search. While keeping my options open am still mainly looking in Carlton North because I think the area is pretty great. So I guess a bit about me... I'm currently working as a DevOps Engineer (an IT guy) at a tech company in town. Am originally from Adelaide, however have been in Melbourne the last 6 years and did a few years in Perth and the UK before that. Am really into wine/beer/coffee, love jazz and get to quite a few gigs, and admittedly like to watch a bit of cricket and football. Have also taken up skiing while being in Melbourne and just about to head off on a Japan snow trip which I'm really looking forward to. Anyway if I look like I may be a good fit for a room you're looking to fill please let me know! Cheers, Mike
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. And food. And overseas trips. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Ensuite bedroom for single, Fully furnished including bills, Close to CBD, University, Tram, Train, Bus at doorstep, Offer personal fridge, Cental heating and coolling, Off street parking for a minimum of 3 cars
We are a British-French couple looking for a home in Melbourne! We are both clean and chilled young professionals - back in Paris I ran a language museum and Axel is a lawyer. We enjoy live comedy, international food markets and contemporary art museums. Happy to share with anyone, couples, pets etc :)
Great townhouse in Brunswick West, 2 toilets, shared bathroom, large open plan kitchen, courtyard outside with BBQ, close to parks, moonee ponds creek trail, 8 min walk to 55 or 59 trams. Room is large, fits a queen bed and 2 bedsides easily, it also has a built in wardrobe. Bond is axtually 6 weeks rent as this is a pet friendly property, one awesome cat lives here, another friendly cat or dog would be considered. Rent is $870 pcm and bond is $1200. Would suit traveller or someone in between properties as the lease is until August and they have not yet offered to renew so cannot guarantee that yet unfortunately
I'm originally from the UK. I've lived in Brunswick for the last year. My lease is up on the 8th April so looking for somewhere as my friend that I live with is moving back to the UK. I'm very clean and tidy. I enjoy going to the gym but am not a fitness freak. I enjoy socialising but also enjoy my own space. I work full time but am just about to start studying I will continue to work. I'm available pretty much immediately. I'm very easy going and get on with most people well and there's not much that fazes me.
Looking for a place to stay while I work at the comedy festival and beyond. I've been travelling for a while now but looking to make Melbourne home. A little about myself: I'm an easy-going, tidy, and friendly guy from Scotland. I've lived in many a sharehouse in my time and have never had a bad experience. I enjoy going out for coffee before 12, and drinks after. I enjoy a good book when I can pull my degenerate millennial mind off of netflix. I enjoy jogging as much as is naturally possible to enjoy something so terrible. I love good food. Perks of having me as a flatmate include: 1) I have a wonderful selection of handpicked playlists on Spotify to fit any occasion 2) I can rustle up a mean cocktail 3) I give excellent life advice after a couple of said cocktails 4) I cook quite well 5) I can let you into comedy shows for free Hit me up if I sound like the sort of flatmate you're looking for!
PhD Student at Melbourne University moving across from Adelaide. Clean and relatively quiet but does like to socialise.
We're a friendly, fun, drama free, fun loving couple who love a laugh and making new friends.... we're clean and respectful and both work fulltime hours (sometimes more) so paying rent on time isn't an issue... we are ready to move now and can move in immediately if required! If you would like to know more please send us a message!
I'm 25 and work full time as a town planner in the inner city. I love the outdoors, play footy for the renegade pub football league (AFL), enjoy cooking and gardening and prefer Netflix to commercial TV (Broad City, Vikings). I love a beer, am good at fixing things and am a great listener when drama is happening in your life. I'm a bit of a nerd, am teaching myself how to make clothes (slow process) and enjoy photography. I'm tidy and clean, I'm an adult about chores and know how to share a house respectfully 😊 I've been renting in Melbourne for about 7 years now and want to live in my next house for at least 12 months. I've been Kensington for 2 years and am coming up to the end of my lease. I was in my Carlton house for two years before that. I've got a steady income and can pay rent and bills on time. I've also got some furniture / housewares / cook books which I'm happy to bring or put in storage. I also have some plants which I'd love to keep with me! I'm looking for a "home" and not a "place to sleep". Keen to be mates with my housemates instead of ships in the night but also respectful of privacy. I'm not into drugs. If you think you'd like to meet me / would make a great housemate let me know 🙂 Cheers, G
Introverted, friendly, tidy. reliable, honest and open minded. I keep to myself, but enjoy a tea or beer every now and then. Quite flexible, no explicit needs. I enjoy discussion, creating and appreciating different kinds of music, Muay Thai, running, reading, anime, chess, playing cards, cigarettes and dumplings. Studying, working part time. Thankyou for your time, Olly
I'm Steve, I'm 29 and I work in FMCG brand management. I recently moved to Melbourne to take the role and I'm looking for a place to move in to, preferable long term (moving is such a hassle). I work full time Monday to Friday and try to fit in a gym session before work (when I can manage it), I cycle to work most days and mix between cooking at home and eating out. I'm an easy going, social guy and enjoy a chat and a drink/meal with flatmates, but I also know when people need their own space. I'm an amateur photographer, a bit of a foodie and generally enjoy doing anything in a social environment. I'm a tidy flatmate and definitely do my fair share of the housework. The room needs to be unfurnished (I have all my own stuff). Ideally I'd like to stay around the $250/week mark, but can go up to $300 for the right place. I'm also happy to consider a longer than 6 months. If you want to know anything else, let me know?
I'm Leo I'm moving to Melbourne on the 31st of March. I'm a carpenter by trade and will be working for Melbourne Handyman Services starting April 5th. This means I am able to fix just about anything in a house that needs fixing (considerable advantage to have one of me living with you don't you think?) I'm into fitness (boxing, kickboxing, running), cooking, movies, comics, beer, live music and wholesome memes. I'm looking for somewhere friendly and safe to live, preferably with people around my own age with similar interests but i'm really not too fussed.
I have been told im a Great Cook and im clean and tidy and respectful. Also a social person love going out for dinners and coffees and catching up with friends. Not a party animal though.
Easygoing student studying at Melb Uni, working casually (with plenty of hours) at a cafe/bar in the city.
I'm studying at Melbourne University. Looking for a place to move in after my current lease ends (29th April 2017). I'm sure you'll find me to be respectful and easygoing. I've been staying with housemates who've never had a single complaint about me. Looking for single room in houseshare/flatshare. If anyone has a good deal, hit me up.
Hey everyone, I'm a graphic designer who is looking to move closer to the city! I work part time at home as well as at an office doing design work. My hobbies include fitness, basketball, travel, music. Im a clean individual and also a non smoker. Hoping to move into a social house where everyone gets along!
Im really easy going, I work two jobs and stick to myself mostly but would be down to have a few drinks/chill every now and then! I do keep a neat place but I'm not too crazy about it. And I have a cat Kenny, he's pretty chill too. Im looking for 1 or 2 people to move in with and I have a few apartments that would be cool to check out.
