I am looking forward to finding my next accommodation, a kind home with friendly people. I am a friendly, quiet lifestyle person who enjoys working with people in customer service and am working towards selling my hand arts. I am transitioning to study in the future. Starting with self study to catch up on previous study I need to brush up on, then back to uni to further study science. My interests vary from movies and books, day walks in nature, heading into city to explore art/food and relaxing gardens, drawing/painting small works. Am thinking of getting a bicycle, explore the bike paths of Melbourne. Look forward to meeting my new housemates :o)

Hello! I am Alexander from Nürnberg in Germany and I am doing a PhD-course in cancer-research at Monash University. I consider myself very tidy, I am a non-smoker and love animals. So I have no problems, if anyone in the flat should own (quite normal) pets. I have a high workload during the week and spend my weekends in Torquay and Barwon Heads. So no worries about me hanging around all day or partying all night. Other hobbies of mine are outdoor activities like mountain biking and camping, as well as brewing beer (does not smell at all). So don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail or skype, in case you should be interested and have any further questions! Thanks a lot in advance and maybe we will share a flat one day! Alex
Hi guys 😊 My name Jess, & I have a 7 year old golden retriever called Toby 🐶 I’m currently prepping to compete in a body building competition next year so when I’m not at work I’m at the gym or out with the doggo! I’m pretty social, always down for a coffee / meal out / gym sesh / tv or movie marathon. Love having a chat about whatever has happened in the day & also more than happy to clean & cook. I am a vegetarian, but that's a personal choice & would never judge anyone else for the way they want to eat! I’d love to live with someone/people that don’t mind me being quiet, busy & hardly home, love dogs & enjoy being social from time to time! Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you! 😊
I am flexible, easy going person. Looking for a place with my own bathroom and place where I could park my motorbike. A housemate that enjoys cooking and ti tidy in nature would be perfect. I like to have my privacy, but will enjoy catching up and be friends, share meals.
31yr old male, I’m a tradie, not really home during the day. Financially reliable, neat and tidy .Looking for somewhere relaxed to live. Looking for a place happy to accommodate a small dog, as I have a 7yr old French bulldog who is very well behaved and a good laugh! We are very easy to live with be around, looking for something the same. Thanks!
Hi! As a couple we’re looking for a room! We met each other during traveling. I’m (Tess) Dutch and Callum is English. We’re both looking for a job in Melbourne (hospitality/retail). I love food and like to spend some hours in the kitchen. Callum is a musician. He plays guitar, sings and writes his own music. We’re both very easy going and interested in Melbourne’s music scene. We like to go to gigs, drink some beers or have an easy night at home and watch a movie or play cards. We’re friendly, flexible, chatty, tidy, cozy and like to do things together with our flatmates!
I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
A first-year Graduate student. Studying mechatronics at the University of Melbourne. I'm easy to get along with. I love sports football (soccer) precisely. Everything will be ok as long we keep the common areas we'll be sharing clean and tidy. A long-term stay is the goal!!
Pleasure to meet you, future roomie! I'm a former materials engineer from the USA and current ESL teacher on a 1-year work visa in Oz. I love travel, fitness, language, learning new things, and meeting new people. Ideally, looking for a houseshare with 3-4 outgoing folks who aren't afraid to make plans and help me stay busy. Indie music, cheesy humor, cheesy cooking, occasional house parties, and eccentrics are a big plus. Cigarettes and cats are a big minus (due to allergies). My budget caps out around $250 (although less is always welcome), and I'm hoping wherever I stay is near enough to bike to the CBD...so Inner East, Inner North, Inner West, and St. Kilda areas are all on the table (in rough order of preference). I'm currently in the CBD and hoping to move within the next week. If this all sounds good to you, DM me for a meetup, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
Hi, I'm Chris, I am a 31 year old, Primary School Teacherin Brunswick. I am looking for a short to mid-term place to share with friendly, easy-going and considerate people. I am quiet, clean, thoughtful and know how to share a house/space. I am able to keep myself busy but also like to socialise with my housemates over a drink or a shared meal. I enjoy netflixing, camping, riding, running, good coffee, cooking and of course eating. I do have a (small) dog who doesn't live me at the moment but would love for her be able to visit (but only if it is possible). I am thoughtful, kind and pretty easy going. Always up for a laugh and although I can come across a little on the quiet side, I like to socialise and enjoy a drink with friends.
Hi, I'm Theo, female, queer, and 34. I have been a social/environmental activist all my life, but am pretty anti-activist culture these days (specifically I'm not judgemental and am looking for non-judgemental folks to live with). I'm starting a political blog from a radical centrist angle, and work mostly from home. I don't have an income at the moment, but have substantial savings, so no need to worry about me paying the rent. I'm into hanging out with friends, working out, going out dancing, playing table tennis, personal development, serious and light hearted chats, netflixing, keen to get into skateboarding and parkour soon. I'm looking for a place that's relaxed, friendly, clean, non-communal (although I'd be into sharing meals occasionally if it feels right), meat friendly...
I'm a Finnish male from; Helsinki, moving Down Under, to work as a carpenter in Brunswick East. My journey begins: 1st of November, in the gorgeous city of; Melbourne! - Easy going, approachable, reliable, friendly, outgoing, good sense of humour, respectful, handyman around the house, coffee lover, music enthusiast, snowboarder, and just a great bloke. I've lived in: New York, London, around Europe, India, Nepal and travelled extensively around the world. Whilst living abroad, I've lived with many people and have a great rapport amongst all past house mates. I'm happy to live among people from all walks of life.
A beautiful home just off Brunswick Rd in Brunswick West. Old world style, wooden floors, super cosy. We're in a cul-de-sac so it's super quiet and peaceful, but then we're not against loud music, gatherings and noise either. We have unlimited NBN, dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, fluffy cat, air-con, central heating, garden, piano, big yard, lots of books and entertainment technology. Close to Grantham St shops and a short walk to Sydney Rd. Trams, trains and buses all nearby.
I'm pretty relaxed, organised, reliable and really care about living in a tidy and clean home. I love meeting new people but am not big on living in a party house. I'm mostly looking for a quiet place to live as I'm moving out of a very noisy apartment in the CBD! ---- What I am looking for in a property (After wading through the jungle that is Melbourne real estate for 11 years, my needs have become very specific ;) 1) Split heating/cooling if possible 2) Double glazing/a quiet location 3) Somewhere well built where the neighbors can't be heard 4) Away from noisy main streets or high enough that it doesn't matter 5) Somewhere with modern fixtures that make the apartment easy to keep clean 6) Own/Ensuite Bathroom 8) Bedrooms that don't share walls. --- What I am hoping for in a flatmate 1) Someone who understands I'm looking for a quiet and relaxing living space 2) Someone who cares about keeping a neat, clean and tidy house 3) Someone who is willing to be reliable with rent payments and is responsible with any repairs/issues that might arise with the property over time 5) Someone who is cool with agreeing on some house rules to follow to keep things civil --- A bit more about me: I'm a 30-year-old Graphic Designer from Melbourne who works full time in South Melbourne, Monday to Friday from around 7AM - 5/6PM. I love food, films and checking out exhibitions, talks and local festivals around the city during the week. If I am at home, I'm usually taking it easy or working on my own design projects.
Full-time masters student, tutoring on the side. Respectful and tidy, love a good chat but also value down-time. Often found: cooking up a storm, studying or soaking in the sun from the backyard/balcony/other advantageous spot.
Kia ora! (that's hello in NZ Maori) Hi I am Daniel, I am 29 and have recently just decided to move to Australia from New Zealand. I have worked as an auditor with an accounting firm for the past 5 years but have taken a job in Melbourne in the finance department of a corporate. My job in Melbourne is a full time 9-5. I love to workout, and also love to settle down to watch a good movie when I can or hangout. I only know a few people in Melbourne, so I am hoping to meet a nice flatmate and also get to discover why Melbourne is such an amazing city.
The house is very bright and sunny and is two storeys, each bedroom is in separate floor and both have ensuite. The house and room are fully furnished (although the bedroom furniture can be removed if you wish). The bedroom also has built in robes. The location is amazing. It is 10 minutes walk to the tram (route 58 or 59) and it is 5 minutes’ walk to the supermarket, bottle shop and restaurants and coffees. Restaurants and nice parks are around the corner 😊 Rent is $260 per week, paid monthly, plus bond (4 weeks rent, which you receive back at the end of your stay as long as you don’t damage anything). Utilities including electricity, water, and internet are split equally. I’m looking for: for a Professional who is friendly, house-trained, independent, responsible, tidy, and easy going, sorry I’m not looking for a couple to move in, or a party house. Aiming for a balance between socialising and relaxing home. If you are interested, please tell me about yourself and let me know when we can organise a time for you to come and see the house and meet me. Smoking is fine, so long as it is out on the balcony.

Hi there, This is a Spaniard, who has been living in Melbourne for four years, looking for a new place to call home. During the last two years, I am living in the CBD, however, I´m missing the inner suburbs of this beautiful city so, I have decided to enjoy the city just during work-time. The majority of my time is spent on work (marketing, consulting and eventually cocktails makers) and University (MBA & PM). In my free time, I love to keep me fit and socializing. At home, extremely clean and respectful. When I have time, I love to enjoy outdoors (unfortunately no too much time at the moment but summer is just coming up, excited!) More than happy sharing nice dinners or drinks with you all and, why of course, exchange some yummy food recipes Seeking for a friendly atmosphere and a nice place for living. Really easy-going person.
