Friendly, non-smoking, mature aged student. Am fun loving and love to laugh. Enjoy the occasional quiet beer at the local or in the backyard. I am courteous, respectful of others' space, beliefs and belongings. I clean up after myself, still working on the cooking thing but have some specialties up my sleeves. And no, it's not 2 minute noodles ;o) I been a Melbournian now for around 8/9 months, have some family and friends here, but looking to find my own space somewhere. I'm an AFL fan, love music (particularly live gigs), all sorts of comedy. Love movies, reading and am a big fan of board games and trivia nights. I go to salsa class every week which is great fun.
Hi! I am Erica, 25 from Perth, with my partner Wail, 22 from Morocco. We are pretty new to Melbourne so are hoping to find a place where we can make some friends and feel at home. I work full-time in public health, and Wail works in hospitality as well as being an artist. He is very creative, plays guitar and loves working with his hands. Is super handy around the house. I mostly read and watch terrible movies. We love a good tv binge every now and then, and love to chat. Wail is an amazing cook if you ever want to share meals, we are both tidy and neat and I love to clean (honestly), but we both grew up in full houses and travelled a lot so we know how to live with others and go with the flow. We are very respectful of privacy, and especially sleep! Also we love animals so anything you have we will be super excited about. Hope to hear from you soon!
we are International students from India studying at RMIT University. funny out going and caring.

After almost 2 months travelling, and after my last 5 months living in Melbourne, I came back here for a new job and a stable accommodation from 3 weeks to 3 months for now, but I might stay here until April in next year. I am easy going, open minded, tidy, clean, clam, friendly... I love to meet different people from different countries, I prefer my future flat mates are English speakers, chilling together, like watching movies, listening musics, cooking and dinner together sometimes, also they will have to be clean, would like to clean in the common areas after used, thanks!
Hi I'm Michelle! I'm a friendly, sociable person who enjoys spending time with housemates (inside or outside the home) but also lead a pretty active life & am happy to do my own thing. I'm easygoing, clean & respectful & desire a harmonious house with great people. I also appreciate furry animal friends if they're around too. I like to cook, spend time in nature and love travel & anything creative. I'm a writer who just completed post-grad studies in Public Relations :) I'm also flexible on a move in date if it's a little earlier.

Hi! I'm a 22 year old girl from Norway moving to Melbourne next year to study philosophy and psychology. I'm well used to living with others, can cook pretty darn well and makes tacos and sangria on a regular basis. If you too love tacos and sangria, i think we would have a mutual interest in living together! (what more do you write in these things?)
Fun and International. I love to visit new places, 26 countries so far and lived in 7! Australia will be my next adventure. Moving to Melbourne to study for 6 month at RMIT. I'm very social. Love to have a fun night out as well as staying in eating pizza in front of a movie. I am also clean and organized and respect privacy.
Looking for some lovely roomies to share a new adventure with! We’re a laid back, Dutch couple looking for a furnished, private room in a cosy, shared house/flat. We have been living in Melbourne since February and have to leave our current place on the 18th of July. We both work part time. Brian is a bartender at Dracula's and Tessa works as a florist and in a boutique store. We will be staying in Melbourne until half October. Both: travelers, love good company, food = life, non-smoking, coffee, cycling and cheese. Tessa is a writer who loves dancing, having her toes in the sand and hanging out at the perfect lunch café. Brian is a physiotherapist who knows his beer, is always eager for scientific facts and will give you tons of music inspiration. Send me a message if you are or know the right fit!
We're on the hunt for a few amazing humans to team up with to share life, food and laughter in the north/west/north-western suburbs of Melbourne. Hoping to kick off a new lease any time from July 8 onwards. ABOUT US: Mischa (hubby) is 26 and is an Air Traffic Controller at Tulla airport. He reads economics and finance books for fun and he can have a conversation with anybody about anything. So he's the brains of this operation! I'm Naomi, 23, in transition right now between work and study. I've been an early childhood educator but I’m now returning to my life-long dream: to study everything humanities at university. So I'll be studying full time as of this coming semester. I'm also a writer. And I love cooking and hosting big, messy, delicious, happy dinners for everybody. We’ve been married 3 ½ years and have no kids or pets. We've been sharehousing for 2+ years. We have rental references available. We like to be friends with our housemates, not just strangers sharing a house! That being said, we need our privacy and down time as much as anyone, and respect others' space. We don't own a TV. You are welcome to bring one with you, but please don't be one of those people who has it turned on all the time (even if it is on mute). That's a deal breaker for us! ABOUT THE (theoretical, not-yet-existent) HOUSE: This is a house where... … everyone works together to foster a friendly, honest, open, supportive culture ...you can invite friends over for a meal or a beer, but in a way that respects other's needs. (If you know another housemate is doing 6am shifts all week, it wouldn't be fair to have people over partying until midnight.) ...housies know a bit about each other's lives and what others are working through, or towards, and are there to provide friendship and conversation when somebody needs to vent or laugh or brainstorm …you feel free to go into hibernation mode and escape from the world and housemates when you need private down time, and the other housemates respect that ...everyone pitches in in equal amounts to maintain the house to a standard that makes living there a pleasant experience for all. That means being willing to clean the bathroom, or take out the bins or wash those few extra dishes that aren't yours. ABOUT YOU: - Australian citizen or permanent resident (for rent contract security) - At least 2 rental references - Looking for a minimum 6-month lease - Employed with a reliable income - Absolutely non-smoker and no illicit drugs - Reliable rent payer - Interested in building into the culture of the house Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to catch up for a cuppa and a chat! EDIT TO ADD: We think we might have just found our dream house. SO. MANY. BEDROOMS. Applications aren't open yet, but we are ready to pounce! Get in touch if you want to live in an INCREDIBLE house in Maidstone, just a few minutes' bus ride from the train station which is 20 minutes into the city!

I like watching and playing sports. Am a fan of movies. I also like to go out to parks, cafe's, restaurants with friends in free time. I love cooking. 22 year old Canadian with a working holiday visa; totally out of the oridinary right?! I love electronic music, poetry/painting/writing/art, drinking, festivalling, good food with good people, wildlife, sauerkraut, pancakes, and lemurs, in no specific order. Looking for accomadation with fellow human(s) who have common interests or teaming up as well; however it is important to me that I have a private room! I am very organized and tidy, outgoing with a tad of introvertedness, and have a knack for dry humour and sarcasm. ✌🏻🦄🥞👑
Hello! My name is Laura and my boyfriend Chris and I are hoping to move to Melbourne in September. We're two Aussie's in our early twenties currently living in the countryside of New South Wales, hoping to find a room in a sharehouse or a one bedroom place of our own. I'm an artist/barista combo, and finished my Fine Arts degree last year. Chris is a fantastic plumber who's hoping to start his own business in Melbourne. We've been saving up for the last year to move somewhere fun and fresh. We're comfortable in most settings and don't make much noise unless it's the right time and place. Ideally we'd like to be immersed in a creative space full of like-minded people. We've both lived in lots of sharehouses before and know the drill, we're clean and we don't hide away in our room!
We are looking for a third person to take the remaining room in our lovely home. The house has 3 generous sized bedrooms, a lounge with a gas heater, front porch, back study, large kitchen, central bathroom with separate toilet & laundry, huge workshop and an additional storage room out the back. The backyard itself is sizable with cement patio and small lawn. The room Available is 3m x 3.8m in size and we're open to the idea of this person setting up a good portion of the study room The House is located on the border of Brunswick West and Moonee Ponds. A few minutes drive to Sydney Road and Puckle Street. Tram is a few minutes walk and there is a bus stop out the front of the house. Rent is $696/PCM NBN internet is $20/Month Electricity and gas are divided evenly. Preferred: No couples, non-smokers, mid 20s - mid 30s, no cats
~ TEAM UPS / NEW LEASE ~ Me (22) & my housemate Romany (20) are wanting to find 1 or 2 other girls to start a lease with us as we'd love to move out of out tiny apartment. We are currently waiting to inspect some lovely town houses around the Brunswick area. We are happy to move anywhere within 20-30 minutes to the city. The houses we are looking at are near new townhouses, and fast internet is a must :) We are looking for someone we can build a friendship with, just like we did, as well as someone who respects our need for alone time. We hang out often, watch TV and have dinner and a wine, make eachother cups of tea (essential haha) and do things out and about together. When were at home and not hanging out, we spend a lot of time in our rooms. I play a lot of video games, and Rom has a blog - and we are both Netflix addicts. We have most household furniture (as well as our own bedroom furniture) but contributions are welcome! We are very clean and are looking for someone who is ready with bond/first months rent so that as soon as we find a house we love we are ready to apply! Send us a message if you have any questions or would like to know anything about us :)
I'm studying post graduate law part time. I work 3 days a week at a superannuation fund, and I volunteer one day a week at an organisation that provides legal help to vulnerable young people. I have an 8 month old West Highland Terrier named Kipp (see below). I'm in 2 book clubs, enjoy films, art, and salsa dancing. I cycle more than I drive my car. I'm pretty quiet at home and I'm looking for a calm place with friendly, relaxed people. Personal qualities I've got a great sense of humour and a sharp wit (although I also enjoy making the odd dad-joke). I've got a green thumb: at my old place that involved lawn care and a vege patch, but I also have a collection of beautiful house plants that are looking to be re-homed with me. I'm tidy, and I clean up after myself. I'm responsible about paying bills on time, and if something needs fixing-cleaning-renovating I generally take the initiative and get it done. Food sharing and furniture I'm an omnivore but I rarely cook meat at home. I mostly cook simple, healthy meals (or creative jaffles). I prefer to just organise my own food, but at my last place we also had a kitty for basics like spices, oils and condiments, and I found that worked well. I have a few good pieces of kitchen equipment and some good coffee-making gear. I don't have my own white goods or living area furniture, but I'm open to buying them, either together or separately if needed. Description of KIPP My dog is an 8 month old West Highland white terrier. He's a total sweetie and loves human company and cuddles, but he is also really good at entertaining himself when left alone. He doesn't bark or display any separation anxiety. His only fear is bath time- so we are currently working around that by giving him sponge baths. Being a westie he has a coat that doesn't shed, and I brush it regularly to keep it free from knots. He goes to obedience training on Sunday mornings and knows sit, drop, stay, leave it, roll over, paw, spin and walking on a lead. We're going to keep going, as the school continues past those basic commands to more advanced stuff. I'll teach you the commands he knows, and if we're consistent with him he'll continue to be an angel dog. I would be happy to live with another well-trained dog for them to keep each other company. He's generally been a really easy dog to raise. He's toilet trained. Not destructive (I let him play with old milk cartons and boxes and he lets out the urge to pull things apart on those). He stays outside in the day and sleeps in a crate in my room at night. I'm really respectful about cleaning up after him, I don't leave his stuff lying around and I clean up his poo into a special dog waste composter in the garden. If you're looking for all the love and fun of a dog, while someone else (me!) has the responsibility of feeding/training/cleaning and paying the pet insurance, then this could be a pretty sweet deal for you ;)
About me My name is Amy. I'm 24 years old currently living in Perth. I am moving to Melbourne in July and will be looking for a place to live as soon as I get there. Ideally my own bathroom would be great but not essential. I will need a place for my car also, does not need to be a garage as such but at least off the street would be preferable. I won't have a bed so if one is available (queen) that would be ideal. Although if I need to get a bed I can. I also don't have wardrobes so built ins would be handy to. (i'm not moving over with much!) I am clean, respectful and wouldn't mind an house mate or two who would be potential friends as well as I will be new to Melbourne. I enjoy going out to social events and anything music related (I am a huge fan of house music and love going to live bands) I like to keep fit also, so if you know of a good gym in the area let me know! I am a bit of an old soul so prefer to live with older people, however age doesn't matter as long as you are easy going and chilled. Cleanliness is important to me so hoping to live with someone/people who can appreciate a tidy living area.. so if you are looking for a clean housemate I am perfect for you :) I am looking for a place not too far from the city, no more than 15/20ish minutes from the CBD. Flexible with location as the suburbs I have chosen are just a rough idea.
