Hey guys! Great new place just off a main road in Brunswick West. Nice little walk either to Sydney Road or Ascot Vale so heaps of shops and brunch opportunities. The townhouse itself is really nice and spacious, you'll have a room with built in robes and you'll only be sharing a bathroom with one other person. Both on and off street parking is available.
Hey! I'm Nicole Morse, I'm 19 and study Fashion Merchandising at RMIT in Brunswick. I'm a fairly quiet person who loves to watch Netflix and go out for dinner/drinks occasionally. Currently I'm living with my parents over the summer holidays but looking at moving down to Brunswick start-mid January. Fun facts about me: - I LOVE to travel!! - I play tennis - I work at Kmart - I'm from country VIC AND I'm desperate for a room around Brunswick! :))
Room available mid November. Rent will be around $650 per month (still working out exact fair amount compared to what other housemates pay, but it will be in that range - exact price will be confirmed asap) + bills + bond. Lease is signed until May, but should be possible to extend. Room is the smallest in the house, but I’ve been in there myself since moving in at the beginning of this year and could fit my queen sized bed, a couch and a portable wardrobe plus coffee table and television in there so it is still quite spacious (I will be taking over another room in the house when a current housemate leaves, so not moving out, just moving rooms). House is over 100 years old but in a very decent condition, and the kitchen and bathroom are renovated and quite modern. Nice courtyard out the back which we are slowly getting ready for summer as the sun shines into in beautifully. We have unlimited NBN (the good one, real fast). We're right on the border with Brunswick and Brunswick West, our back fence actually belongs in Brunswick. Location is about 6min walk to Melville Road, where you've got a pretty well stocked bottle shop, the 55 tram and Mr Truongs. About 15min walk to Safeway or to Coles. A 10-15 minute walk to either Anstey or Brunswick Station. There's also a bus that will take you directly to Barkly Sq. A block away from Brunswick Park where you can find food trucks most weekends. Room is not furnished. The rest of the house is mostly furnished and we plan to decorate the house soon to make it seem like more of a home than a house. Parking is on the street outside the house, there's never any trouble finding a park. LBGTQ and disability friendly, smoke friendly but only outside. Message with a little about yourselves and we can go from there
With the exception of your bedroom, our beautiful townhouse is fully furnished with all appliances (fridge, washing machine, microwave, TV, etc.) and furniture. The house has 3 levels with your bedroom on the top floor, with its own split-system heater and cooler and BIR. You will be sharing a large bathroom (double sinks, bathtub and shower, WC) with a couple. The communal mezzanine level includes the kitchen, large balcony with BBQ and seating, dining, butler’s pantry, lounge room with large TV and entertainment system, a study room and a powder room. You will also have access to a dedicated spot in the remote-controlled garage for your wheels. Our house is super close to the 55 tram which will get you into the city in 25-35 mins, and we're only a 5 min drive or 20min walk from the bustle of Sydney Road.
We're a couple in our 30's, I'm a new PhD student at the University of Melbourne, looking for a long term rental, and Manuel is here to work full-time. We're not smokers, no pets, very clean and laid back :)
I keep to myself, I'm friendly, I'm easy to get along with, I'm responsible and reliable. I usually spend time by myself watching movies or drawing or just listening to music. I'm currently living in Brunswick west, originally a Melbourne person. I have a pet cat, she's a great pet and would not cause a problem.
Hi, i'm Matt, i work full time in moonee ponds whilst studying at NMIT i am told that i am a really relaxed & hard working person , i work 5 days a week whilst fitting in study's and friends, i'm looking for a relaxed home to call mine, Thanks
I'm a 26 yo female one year away from completing my postgrad degree in medicine at Melbourne Uni. I'm originally from Sydney. I enjoy being a good mate for my housemates I am a social creature but I am also happy in solitude if people need their own space :) I've been renting with housemates since I started uni 8 years ago so I feel like I've got a grasp on this sort of thing and won't be terrible to live with! I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on foodie adventures and binge watching Netflix especially when I have upcoming exams. I love wine and cheese nights. I enjoy a cold beer and playing Call of Duty. I also enjoy travelling, board games, musicals and boozy conversations about history, science and politics. I am also super clean because I find it therapeutic but am highly tolerant if others aren't so much :) My lease ends Dec 11 and my close friends are all moving away so finding somewhere before then would be ideal! I have a bunch of stuff so unfurnished would be better for me.
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Close to everything including CBD, public transport, shops, parks, easy access to Citylink...big high ceiling room, partly furnished in a fully furnish house. BBQ on the deck and a vege garden out the back, NBN included...cool neighbours, and there's a great pub and cafe at the end of the street! I have a Staffy/Kelpie cross who loves people, if you're into dogs..
Okay about me: I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) full time at Victoria University and working part time as a medical receptionist. I love reading, going to the theatre and listening to 70’s music in my me-time but am down for a social drink or two as well! More than anything I love a spontaneous adventure and trying something new -whether it be bikram yoga or a road trip to a foreign place. I’m also more than willing to have a chat/ debrief after work and cook a meal for everyone. I’m considerate of other people’s things and their space in general. I’m super tidy and won’t leave a mess or an array of dishes for you to wake up to. I’m really just happy to find my spot in the house and fit in with the way that everything currently works. I'm really struggling to get the balance of e-harmony meets job interview here but I hope you find me an attractive candidate? Looking forward to hearing from you :) ,Caitlyn
I'm returning from living overseas in Amsterdam on December 2016, I am Tattooer working out in the Oakleigh area, but I'm happy to live in most areas near or far in Melbourne Before spending the past year and a bit in Holland, I lived in Melbourne for 2 and a half years, so I am familiar with the wonderful city I'm pretty easy having a social environment or more private living situation if in a shared house. I'm clean, reliable and respectful. If it's a shared house, great! If it's a lease takeover or private studio/flat/apartment on offer, that's great also I'll be in Melbourne as of Dec 9th to come and meet and view anything Thank you
Hi There I am a tidy and mature professional (Male 29) looking for a like-minded tenant to fill the downstairs bedroom of a house in Brunswick West. Overview: One bedroom available for rent in a newly renovated house in Brunswick West. I'm a 22 year old girl from the South of France. I just came back from an exchange in Denmark, where I studied at Roskilde University for two semesters. I study English and American litterature, culture and language, but I am currently taking some time off from my studies in order to travel as much as possible :) I'm here in Australia with a Working Holiday Visa and planning on staying in Melbourne for about 6 months, so I'm also looking for a full-time job. I love travelling and I really enjoy taking photos, and I'm into art and culture in general, I love food, beer and to chat with new people! But as much as I enjoy other people's company, I sometimes like to have some moments to myself and I'm respectful of other's privacy. I'm looking for a furnished room (really important!) and that's not more than 30 minutes away from CBD by public transport. Flick me a message in here if you think you have something for me!
Hi! I grew up near Byron Bay and moved to Melbourne nearly 2 years ago with a group of friends, and have been living in a share house since. The lease is ending so its time to look for a new home. I work 4 days a week as a cook at and plan on finding more work, as i want to travel come end of 2017. Very clean, respectful and reliable. I am looking for short OR long. I enjoy summer but i love winter, some of my hobbies are skating, snowboarding and bjj. Ive got a couch if needed too. Looking for a place by the 3rd of November!
So I’m currently a full time PhD student in the Walter and Eliza Hall institute, University of Melbourne, majoring in cell death and cancer. Weekdays I’m quite occupied as you know morning to night to do lab stuff and maintain my work out routines and cooking stuff. GF is staying with me for one night during the week (date night ☺) then we hangout mostly on the weekends. I enjoy weekend outings for short road trips, brunch and cafes or just cooking and chill over a few drinks. Big G&T lover. Also I’m helping out in Ivanhoe community to referencing kids basketball games. As I’m entering my final year of PhD, I would like to live in a quiet/clean but fun loving house and prepare myself for the upcoming thesis writing period.
Hey guys, I'm Sam, 22, I moved to Australia from England when I was little, I'm English by blood and Australian by heart. I'm a hard worker with my eyes set on the future, I've previously studied at university in Melbourne and currently I'm working part time, with around 4-5 shifts a week which keeps me busy. When I'm not working I love playing my guitar, exploring places I've never been and keeping my mind and my body healthy. I'm a caring person with a big heart who loves putting a smile on people's faces, I'm respectful of others feelings and needs and keep myself and surroundings tidy.
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student from Singapore who will be studying in University Of Melbourne. I'm a 20 year old Chinese guy, fluent in both English and Mandarin. I like music, night life, outdoor activities, almost all kinds of sports, and visit the gym regularly (literally just everything that a "teenager" loves). I'm usually very quiet, but talkative with people i'm close with. My goal is to get really good results in University, while at the same time thoroughly enjoying this overseas studying experience. I'd love to make new friends and learn about cultures different from mine. Hope to have a pleasant experience with you!
I'm on the hunt for a fabulous new place to live and am hoping my future housemates might find me on here! I'm 31yo, a doctor, and love dogs, baking (happy to take requests!), hiking, travelling, running, brunching, finding bargains, camping and generally adventuring. I'm looking for a smoke-free, light-filled place for at least 12 months. I'd prefer a bright room that is quiet & of a reasonable size, and own bathroom and car spot preferred but not essential. I'm looking to move in anytime from Dec 12 to Jan 8. My ideal housemates would value a clean and tidy shared living space and like to get together for the occasional dinner, movie or wine & cheese night but also have lives of their own. I'd like to live with at least 2 other people though am not looking for a party house! Ideally I am looking for a pet friendly place with a courtyard or secure outdoor area as I have a gorgeous 8yo small Maltese x shihtzu dog called Harry. He's house trained, doesn't shed any hair, and just loves being around people. If your place fits the bill but isn't pet friendly I'd still love to hear from you as worst case scenario he can live with his 'grandparents'! Can't wait to hear from you! Happy to answer any questions you might have or to get together for a coffee before I head to India on Nov 3 :)
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
I'm a full-time student of Unimelb and a single mother with a kid, going to ballet classes after school. Busy during the week and love outdoors on the weekend. Also I teach Russian. I'm looking for a female flatmate with a kid too or just loving children. Usually my daughter is cheerful and not noisy at all. We're excited about moving to a new place (and the country) to explore it.
AVAILABLE FROM: Nov 24th till January 24th. Italian style house with a beautiful backyard of strawberry, blueberry plants plus a big lemon tree. We have two cute kitty cats who will be in the house as well! Room comes with bed, cabinet, bedside tables and a wardrobe. 800m to Coles Supermarket and 1.2 km to Woolworth supermarket. 800m to the closest tram stop directly to the city! 4km to the city by bicycle.
We are Nat & Quinn, a 27 yr old female (gay) and a 6 month old kelpie. I run my own business as a graphic designer and work in the city, and Quinn goes to puppy day care 5 days a week and is exhausted after a run at night, so is a very quiet little miss of an evening. We go on adventures all weekend, and tend to cuddle up to a book or a movie after work. Quinn is well manured, minus a bit of jumping up to say hello, but that's getting better with constant training. I have my certificate in dog obedience so i am always training her new manners. I spend my weekends and spare time training Quinn, walking and running, coffee drinking, and brunching. I spend my time at home reading, designing (drawing) and just hanging out. I'm super chill, and would love to live with similar people ✌🏼️ if you'd like to know anything further, please don't hesitate to contact me. thank you Nat
I am a clean, respectful, and social woman of 22 from Montreal. I am on a working visa in Australia for one year and am planning on staying in Melbourne the entire year. I love my own space, but I do love to hang out as well. I am looking for a quiet environment that does not host big parties every week. I have lived with other flatmates before and have always gotten along very well. I have become friends with most of them. The only thing that annoys me is a dirty kitchen because I love to cook, so this is pretty much my only requirement that will make me happy!
Hi ! My name is Laura and I have been in Australia since January 2016 but have just returned from a 3 month S.E Asia trip! I am looking forward to spending the next 3 months here in wonderful Melbourne. I am a nurse and will be working with my agency in the local hospitals. Although I work hard, in my free time I love to go out explore the city, eat all the food, drink all the coffee, and indulge in the Brunswick rd bar scene. Look forward to meeting you and making the most of my last 3 months in Aus!!
Hi I have just moved over to Melboutne and looking for a place to call home. Ideally looking for a female sharehouse and also willing to pay for more for an ensuite bathroom. I have savings and prompt with rent. A furnished room would be great if possible as I only have a couple of suitcases. I'm easy going, respectful and tidy. I look forward to meeting you!

Able to fit a queen sized bed in bedrooms with lots of room to spare. Large built in wardrobes. Floor boards in kitchen and dining area.
I am currently working full time in the CBD. I work Mon-Fri and generally go to the gym most nights so am home fairly late during the week. I enjoy going to the gym, socialising with friends and family and watching a good movie. I am an AFL fan and enjoy watching most sports I am also partial to a wine or two to relax (NZ Sav Blanc preferred ;-) I would prefer to share with someone who can have a good laugh, is positive, respectful and clean.
I'm a clean, friendly, open, fun-loving guy from Manchester, England. Here on my working holiday visa and looking forward to spending the summer in Melbourne. Currently staying in a hostel in St Kilda but looking to move into a flat closer to the CBD. Got myself a job in Emporium shopping centre, so need to be within walking distance of there (under 45 mins), and close to transport links. Would love my own room but other than that, not fussy at all! Vegetarian, but more than happy to live with meat-eaters. Non-smoker. Very tidy & contentious.

I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.
