My name is Austen, I'm an 18 year old uni student with career aspirations in the fields of fashion and textile marketing. Currently working as a retail team leader at Kmart in a regional area. I completed year 12 in 2018 and now with my acceptance to uni I'm looking to head to Melbourne, expand horizons and make life long friends. So hi! I might be just a quiet roommate or your new mate :)
Hi, I'm Shane, 28 years old, from Ireland originally but travelled a little bit (lived in NZ and USA previously). I'm moving to Melbourne in January from Canberra to continue my PhD in sports physiology at Victoria University, Footscray. Pretty busy with PhD work but like to unwind at the weekend catching up with friends for food and drinks, mostly new cafes for the coffee! Enjoy watching most sports, going to the gym, playing social soccer and hoping to start playing hurling again! Looking for a place where housemates like to socialise while cooking food or watching tv
Hello all, My name's Neal and I work full-time as a solicitor-advocate doing mostly Legal Aid work. I'm tidy and keen to be part of the household. I’m looking for a home, not just a house! I’m sociable but know that people also need their space. As a former pastry cook, I enjoy cooking. I’m passionate about current affairs, the world of ideas and discussing what’s going on on this sometimes crazy planet of ours. I’m also passionate about music and enjoy reading, catching up with friends, watching films and having a drink or two. As a Northcote resident of about 10 years, I’m very experienced in share-housing. I believe I’d make the ideal housemate and look forward to meeting you. 😊 Neal
Hi there, I’m Flavia, an architect and jewellery designer working at Melbourne uni and running my own small business. I lived in Europe and South America before calling Australia my home. I’m quite busy during the week with work but enjoy sharing meals, wine, good stories (maybe even trips to the ocean) when the time allows. I am used to house sharing and you’ll find a respectful, reliable and friendly housemate in me. Looking for friendly, respectful people to have a peaceful and relaxed home. My move in date is flexible so can work around your preferred date.
Hey! I’m moving to Melbourne mid feb to study fashion at RMIT. I’m a social person and love going out for a drink or 2 every now and then. I love to cook and go on hikes and to festivals whenever I can. Music is a huge part of my life so always love it playing in the house but I also understand people’s own space and quiet time from living in a share house previously. I’m hoping to get part time work soon after moving down. If you think I’m someone who could fit well in your home flick me a message.
I'm a Chemical Engineering student at RMIT, about to begin my honours year. I work part-time at a cafe in the city, but spend most of my time at uni researching or exploring the outdoors. I grew up in Darwin, NT and moved to Canberra for uni for two years before moving to Melbourne in 2016. I'm not much of a home body, but when I'm home I like to relax and unwind. Im clean and tidy, and usually keep to myself, but don't mind catching up over a wine or coffee. Im a bit of a coffee snob and science enthusiast, but love running and swimming, and most things outdoors.
We’re both 22 years old from Scotland and are super chill and friendly. We’re clean, tidy and respectful people who also like to socialise and grab the odd beer. Not looking for a party place but looking to meet other nice people 😊We’ve just moved to Melbourne so really hoping to hear back from someone as soon as possible! If you need any more information, don’t hesitate to message me. Lucy x
I am very open-minded, easygoing, and responsible. I plan on finding a full time job and staying in Melbourne ideally 6-12 months. I love being social but also doing my own thing. I enjoy cooking, reading, making cocktails, film, music and art! I am very excited to explore Melbourne and plan on exploring as much as possible. I also love going to the beach and can’t wait to live closer to the ocean. I’m very accepting of everyone’s lifestyles and am looking for other good vibin’ People!
Hi! I’m Daniela, a masters student at Melbourne Uni looking for a place to live for my last semester. I’m organized and clean, and will always share house duties. I’m looking for a room in a share house or flat, preferably with a bed but I’m flexible and can being my own if necesary.
Solo vegetarian lady who loves a boogie seeking a sharehouse in or around Brunswick/Fitzroy with some likeminded people. I just returned from living in Vienna and traveling on my own for the past two years, I previously worked as a fashion photographer and journalist overseas. I studied conceptual art in Vienna but I've now decided to take up a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Screen Studies at Uni Melb for the next six months. I'm super flexible on time so could go for a three-six month sublet or even up to a full year if the arrangement looks good! I've got plenty of stories, cooking skills and love to share, shoot me a message if u reckon we'd be a good fit!
The house is nice and roomy, great kitchen dining area, a spare room which will become a lounge room, heating, garage to store your stuff, medium sized bathroom and a small courtyard out the back. There is a spare room, so potential to move in slightly earlier. In a great location being about a 15 min walk to bars and shops on Sydney Road, a few mins walk to some cafes, shops and a supermarket, close to the CBD and the number 58 tram stop nearby. Lots of parks in the area and Melbourne Zoo within walking distance. There are 2 bedrooms on offer. One is a large room at the back of the house for 235 a week and the other room is a mid-sized room at the front of the house for 215 a week. Both bedrooms are currently unfurnished, however landlord is looking at putting in a queen sized bed into both of the rooms at the start of the new lease. Ideally looking for people who can stay the length of the lease of 12 months. Looking for 2-3 new housemates who are nice and chill, will keep the house clean and tidy and are happy to hang out every now and then. Tell me a bit about yourself in your message so I can see if you are a good fit.
Hi everyone) I'm Rick from The Netherlands. I'm on exploring tour, looking for a better place to move from the rainy and cold Dutch ground. My goal is to organise my life in here, learn the system, culture, people and the country it self. Openminded, relax and active person(in a few words about myself). My hobbies are chess and running. I do speak a few languages and i try to learn some others everyday. Always have my own food) as i like to prepair food for myself. I don't smoke and drink no alcohol. Used to live with different people from countries all around the world, so yes, i do respect everyone's privecy and any cultural differencies are not the reason to show inappropriate behavior. I've always found it difficult to describe myself, so i do prefer to meet face face to face and introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Dean, and currently a full-time fashion student from Sydney, but have recently transferred to RMIT in Brunswick. I’m currently on the lookout for a lovely place to stay during my studies in Melbourne. I'm a passionate, respectful and mature (as I’ve been told) 21 y/o who is looking for my place in the world, whose always up for an evening wine (or 2) to unwind and loves a good chat. I enjoy dining out & eating delicious (vegan) food, but also never say no to a night in, cooking & Netflix. I often spend my free-time brunching, studying & reading. As I am relocating from Sydney, I will be looking for work either in retail or hospitality (bar), which will most likely be day/night shifts.
I am an English tutor, an expat from the UK with Asian roots, in my 30's, female. I'd say I'm mature yet youthful because of my job. I have lived in Northcote for 3 years but the house is being sold so need a new place to call home. What I'm looking for: a peaceful and relatively quiet home where everyone communicates, gets on well, goes to work and can have a good chat in the evenings. Not really looking to stay in my room all day or live with people who also stay in their rooms all day. I'm not a party animal, prefer quiet evenings and active days with dinner parties or BBQ's that don't upset the neighbours with the permission of all housemates involved. I am a house proud type of person, love to decorate, make it homely and invite one or two friends round for a civilised dinner party every couple of months or a BBQ with the housemates. Would like to live with housemates who are respectful, positive, kind, intelligent and enjoy life. I believe in resolving problems through adult open communication and not let things fester. So I'm not afraid to speak out when necessary, I'm a good communicator and mature. Have lived in rental houses for over 15 years so I know the importance of respect and open communication. Prefer to stay with non-smokers. 2 years long term stay. I always pay bills on time and a clean/tidy person who cleans up after themselves. So no problems with tidiness or cleanliness. Interests and hobbies: I am an outdoor adventure junkie, love all things hiking and going camping, yoga, meditation etc. I like my healthy eating, writing, reading, gardening, cooking grandma epic stews and soups, going to theatre workshops, playing guitar, painting, dancing, travelling, organising hikes, make my own sourdough, and singing.
Hi potential flatmates! I am a full time Performing Arts student (2nd year) based in Brunswick. You won't see much of me during the week as I'll be at school all day and hit the sack pretty early. I live a healthy lifestyle and like a clean space. I'm very friendly and a bit of an old soul. I'm wanting to make new friends and experience what Melbourne has to offer. I'm respectful of others and their space but also enjoy my own space too. I'm a non smoker and looking to live in a non-smoking household. Oh and I'm a kiwi gal too xx
I’m a full time BSc honours research student, in my early twenties, starting this year at the University of Melbourne and St Vincent’s hospital. I’ve just recently completed my undergraduate in biomedical science at UQ in Brisbane. I’m fairly experienced in share houses, having lived for the past two years with both genders and people from a variety of cultures. I’m looking for a relaxed and easy going environment to finish my busy year ahead. Always happy for a bit of banter and to socialise; whilst also respecting others privacy.
Hi! I'm moving over from Adelaide before I begin my studies, and am looking for some cool, like-minded housemates to move in with. I'm a fun and outgoing person (i like to think), and very organised and reliable. I love meeting new people and exploring interesting places, and am definitely down to hang out for a drink and chat whenever.
Hello, I'm starting a full time position in early February and am looking for a chilled out sharehouse closer to where I'll be working. I'm an easygoing, independent person who's always happy to have a chat, but also understands the need for privacy. I love to listen to and play music, and am always down to eat great food and have a drink with friends. I also love to travel, hike and explore new places.
Hi There! I’m Kishnit and i’m starting my Masters at the University of Melbourne this march. I’m quite easy-going, fun-loving & flexible :) I have a balanced routine when it comes to my work & social life. I like to keep my surroundings clean and am easy to get along with! Food, travel, work & love are my four favourite words :) I’m looking to share accommodation with 1 or 2 more females somewhere not too far from the parkville campus. Would love to get in touch with someone looking for the same xo
I work building exhibitions, making my hours long and odd. In my free time, I am usually home on netflix/ animelab, gaming or doing jigsaws and such in my own space. I jog with my little jack russell terrier and do yoga regularly outside. I'm pretty quiet overall. Not a smoker, keep the kitchen clean and pay all bills ahead or on time. Try to be considerate of waking others with my odd hours. Definitely up to do some gardening. Would very much like housemates who would be kind enough to give our mate Max a belly rub and a little time out the back when they can. He is a massive sulk in my bed when I'm out. Loves to live with other pet owners for friends. Housetrained, flea drops, etc. I’m also vegetarian but I do not tell others what to eat. I like a house where everyone does their own thing and is respectful. Please note apartments aren’t my first choice as Max loves to sun bake.
