Hi everyone! I’m a 32-year-old finance professional from NZ making the permanent move from London to Melbourne on October 12th. I'm on the hunt for a relaxed, long-term share house to call home from mid-October (19th onwards, flexible), or team up with people to start a new lease together.
Ideally, I'm looking around Fitzroy, Collingwood, or Carlton (up to $380/wk inc. bills so I can walk to the CBD), but also very open to Brunswick or Northcote (around $350/wk inc. bills) near good transit links.
I’m keen to find a place with a great community vibe rather than just a room to sleep in, but I also completely appreciate that everyone needs their own downtime to recharge.
A bit about me:
- The Housemate: I've spent the last few years in London share houses, so I completely understand housemate etiquette. I’m clean, dependable with expenses, and promise never to leave mystery Tupperware in the fridge
- Social & Lifestyle: Always keen for a pub quiz, live music, trying out a new local food spot, or a casual movie night. Outside of that, I keep active with Krav Maga, training, and weekend trips
What I'm looking for:
- A private, furnished room with bills included
- A relaxed crew who enjoy a drink or a shared meal occasionally but respect each other's space
Since I land on the 12th, I'm more than happy to jump on a video call to introduce myself and check out the space. If it seems like a good match, I'm ready to secure the room remotely. Feel free to drop me a message if you have something suitable opening up!
