Also like arts and rock. Totally friendly and peaceful. Want move in 12th of September or a little bit later is fine. If you have any good room to rent please message me freely. Thank you very much:)
Hi guys! I am new to Melbourne from Seattle, following 5 months of (mostly incredible but somewhat hellish) backpacking and teaching in Thailand and Vietnam. I work at a cute lil pub in Fitzroy and a swanky house club in the CBD. I'm incredibly excited to get back to going out and seeing live music (house, r&b, indie), cooking and eating food (vegetarian), making art, going on road trips, etc. I am a reader and writer of poetry, and I like my fashion and my nature in equal parts. This means I love to garden and hike and I also enjoy going thrifting. I'm pretty social and I'd love to find flatmates that double as friends. I am also very independent and appreciate alone time. I make a mean cuppaaaa, I'm clean, equal parts energetic and lazy and if I sound like the right person to add to your home (or start a rad home with)- send me a message! Would love to be a part of a house mate family.
Hey! I'm pretty easygoing and tidy and responsible with bills and everything. I'm a case manager for young people and work 9-5 M-F. I like to sit and have dinner with housemates or a drink after work or brunch on the weekend. I go to trivia once a week, gym/barre/dancing a few times. I usually go out on Friday or Saturday night. I have two cats, they live inside and are very clean, litter-trained, and appreciate a warm lap to sit on. My move date is totally flexible, I just have to give two weeks notice. I'm looking to team up with two others to establish a sharehouse, or join an established one. Looking for a long term home. I have a super solid rental history and have shared heaps before. Happy to pay extra for a bigger wardrobe or ensuite. Let me know if you have a room that is in the $220-280 range, or if you want to team up :)
I'm easy going, and respectful of your space and things. I work full time in the CBD across various shifts (hospitality worker) and love doing some yoga in my spare time. Love the beach, and like surfing when I get the chance. Am not in any rush to move but am ready as soon as I find the right place.
HELLOOOOOOOOO!!! We are two energetic and adventurous girls looking for housemates similar to ourselves. We are two friends from University looking to move closer to the city. We love wine, cheese and more wine. We enjoy going out for a bite to eat and a few drinks but do love a good movie night every now and then......the kettle is always boiling for our numerous cups of tea. We are clean, respectful of privacy, can cook, love to bake and we are easy going. So if you enjoy wine and cheese nights, cups of tea and a lot on unhealthy baked goodS feel free to message us!
Hi there! How’s it going? I hope well! I am a quite good Brazilian guy, 26 years old looking for a private room in this amazing city! First you need to know, I love cooking, although I usually do not do it too much because I hate doing the dishes (that’s terrible job), but if you have a dishwasher or do not mind doing this one, we have perfect match for special dinners! I work part-time as office cleaner at night and have some shifts as barista in a cafe shop. Coffee (another love). Honestly, I have a lot of loves, cooking, coffee, new food experiences, beer, spend time on the beach, brigadeiro, chocolate, etc. I am not such a fitness guy, although if I have a partner I can use to do any sports, I’d like to learn how to sky or surf, or simply to go to the gym together. Besides that, I’m studying a diploma in information technology, then Monday to Saturday I’m busy. During free time, I like cooking Brazilian foods, watching series (GOT, how to get away with a murder, sense8, the walking dead, etc), walking on the beach or just going out with friends to have some beers. I am not a huge party boy, I really enjoy taking a seat and talking to, drinking and eating anything. Although I often do not make my bad, I use to keep on the house tidy and clean, principally kitchen and bathroom, also I use to take shower every day (same in freezing days) and brush teeth 4 or 5 times a day (I am a bit paranoid about my teeth). I have visa until 19/01/2019, so I am looking for a place where a can call home for this long time and I want to move in the last week of September. Let’s catch up for drinks and talk about our future house? =D Have a wonderful week! See you soon!
Easy walk to everything. Great lifestyle location. Edinburgh Gardens. Short walk to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, shopping strips, public transport - 2 tram routes and 2 train stations. I absolutely love this location and this 100yo home. Newly renovated with high-end appliances throughout the house. Unlimited hi-speed internet. Every room has its own split system reverse cycle air conditioner. This bedroom is large and has brand new top quality built-in wardrobes and desk. Brand new bed and room furniture. Top-of-the-range German appliances and leather couches in the living areas. Newly painted. All bathrooms have rainwater showers and massage shower roses. The bedroom window (high) has view of Melbourne city skyline.
Originally from Germany, Eike an is an Internet of Things Engineer and Social Entrepreneur. In his spare time, he does improv comedy, co-organises festivals, and runs his passion project, Lifegarten, (the kindergarten for grown-ups) or takes photos on Curiosity Walks. Via Quebec, Mexico and Spain, Emily is a French teacher originally from country Victoria. She enjoys reading, writing poetry, Op-Shopping, bike riding, dancing to Hip Hop, and getting amongst nature. We like space, so ideally would be looking to either inhabit two rooms in one share house, or one large room in a house that has a communal living/study space. We’re respectful, conscientious, ethically/enviro/community-minded people, and would be up for living with people who are equally interested in adventures and interesting conversation. We’ve been running a communal potluck dinner at our current place, so would love the opportunity to be able to continue this in whichever location we come to inhabit. We’re interested in the Inner West/North, so hit us up if you happen to be that cool person who is luckily looking for fun housemates! So...if that sounds remotely like anything you'd be interested in, send me a message and we'll work from there.
I'm a Personal Assistant who works hard and is clean, tidy, considerate, quiet and self contained. I like to talk about life, cook vegetarian food and enjoy a glass of good red, but I'm not really a TV or loud music person. I'm looking for a quiet home. I work long hours, and am pretty quiet when I get home, but am usually up for a chat too. I respect my flatmates and like to give everyone the space they need. Looking for female flatmates who are in their 30's (or older) and work too. Not so fussed about location (north preferably) as the right house and people are more important. I love reading, walking, yoga and write a bit in my spare time.
I am a 21 year old medical student/future doctor taking a year off before completing the final year of my degree to chill out and pursue some goals with my other passion in life, music. I am currently working part time as a phlebotomist in a GP Clinic, as well as pursuing music in the evenings/days off. Almost all of my practice can be done through headphones so I won't be making much noise in the house, if that is a concern. That said, I'd love to find a share-house of easy-going, friendly individuals who have a good balance between socialising within the house and having their own time/activities. I don't smoke, have any pets or other dependents.
Hi, people! I love to share experiences and chat with others. I am easy going, enjoy cooking, and to do sport. I always keep home tidy and consider myself to be a reliable person. After working as an industrial mechanic, I studied biology, and now working as an immunologist in Melbourne. I like the Aussie's life style and want to integrate into this society. I love using the bike when commuting although I recently acquired a small van to visit the surroundings and more. I will be ready to move in from 30th October. Please, contact me for more info ;) All the best,
Marketing/Media student moving from Christchurch, New Zealand to work in Melbourne within the next few months. Looking for other young professionals or students to join in a flat share. Message me if you need more information.
I'm a bit of a homebody and I love cooking and being creative. My spare time is spent going on adventures with my dog, reading or enjoying simple pleasures like food with friends. While I like to have a chat with my housemates or share a meal, I am a very independent person who enjoys my own space and alone time.
What makes me great to live with? Well, I can be so quiet you wont know im home or i could be walking around listening to the radio or a carefully selected playlist getting things done around the place. If the kitchen gets messy, ill just order take away daily. Currently working just under full time hours, living in Preston and I will either be watching reality TV or eatting food random places for fun, undiagnosed coffee addict, has Foxtel sports package.
On the market for a 4 bed house ideally with a garden and nice open living space where we can relax and entertain. I'm 27 and a doctor while Elliott is 23 yr old IT consultant who works fulltime while studying at RMIT. When not working I enjoy having a few drinks with mates or going to a good techno night. I also enjoy trekking and going on weekend trips when it gets a bit warmer! Elliott is much of the same, minus the techno! He also occasionally fosters dogs, will only do this if we all agree however.
Hey guys, I'm jaz a full time working artist. I paint commercial murals and have a studio in fitzroy so between that and socialising when i can, I'm pretty active and busy and not home that much. I get home about 7-10pm as I work a lot lately. I do love to keep a clean and homely place though and have friends chill sometimes and the usual stuff like wines and meals at home occaisionaly. I'm into having a dope home to come home to, cooking healthy, yoga, gardening and looking after my big collection of indoor plants haha. I don't eat animal/meat products but whatever you do and like is cool with me as long as we're all like minded peaceful, respectful people. I'm relaxed at home, mostly do my own thing and chill kinda quiet but like hangs too when it's happens.. really into open friendly communication and peaceful vibes, no passive aggresive drama or gossip. Personality wise I'm pretty relaxed and positive and happy about stuff and get along with everyone. I'm a strong believer in live and let live. Usually end up pretty good mates with old housemates I try to be health and environmentally conscious at home but probably not at all what you'd call clean living. I'm massively into graffiti and street art and beats, hip hop gigs, partying with mates when i can but not usually at home. My dog is a 6.5 year old absolute chiller staffy/ sharpei. He's my everything and pretty much goes everywhere with me. Must be into dogs. Looking for someone similar who works full time to apply for a house northern inner suburbs with, or if theres an appropriate room I'd be down to check it out. My sublet runs out end of September! Ideally one other housemate or two. Hit me up if there's anything or anyone suitable. I usually have a lot of success applyiong for houses and have found some I want but just need a person to two to apply with :) Similar age range probably over 27 at least but everything else I don't care. Dilla can be around other dogs if they're cool, maybe not so much a cat. 6+ months as I'm pretty sick of subletting and moving :) Furniture and stuff is a plus because I don't really own much stuff anymore (except plants lol)
Hi, I am Lydia, a German hospitality professional (with solid income), living in Australia and Melbourne for the last 3 years. I am looking for a short term room lease for only 3 to - 6 month, as I am currently in changing careers. Rent $200 + Bills or max $260 rent per week including Bills ( Internet, water, energy, gas). A backyard would be lovely - an ensuite bathroom would be gold!! A bit about myself: I am an outdoorsy person, great in gardening, love camping, traveling, sport, music, socializing with a glass of wine or two, sometimes with a cigarette (don't smoke all the time, but I don't mind if you do) or just enjoy having my quiet times and read a book... I can't cook!! -BUT, I am a great chef with creating 3-course menus with literally "The Best of the Rest". If this sounds like your future Housemate, please let me know :) Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers Lydia
Hey there! Jessica and I are an active couple who are quite excited to live in Melbourne for the year. We like to keep a tidy house, cook good food, and socialize. In our free time we like to hike, travel, and play sports (squash, volleyball, bowling, etc.). We're in our mid twenties, and are keen for a place that lends itself to an active and social lifestyle. We look forward to hearing from you!
Friendly, easy going couple looking to move into a clean, fun flat where people are friends as well as housemates. We would also be interested in teaming up with another couple and renting a whole property together. Recently moved over from London though we are both originally from NZ. I have lived in Melbourne before and loved it! This will be Matt's first time. Flexible when it comes to location - our priority is to live with great people as we have been lucky enough to live with strangers in the past who we now count as some of our closest friends.
Looking for a wonderful home! ⭐️🍾✨ currently studying Midwifery at ACU and would ideally like to find a place close to my study. I'm really easy going and happy and I'm looking for a place where I can come home and have a chat or share a wine with some great housemates🍷🍾. I'm very tidy and design orientated so ideally I would love to find a place/group of people that can take pride in their space. I really love to cook and bake and I'd love to be able to share a weekly meal with my housemates🍝. Im very open to team ups with like minded people. 💕🎀 I do not have any pets but if I could find a pet friendly place i would most likely be getting a new little housemate also 🐶
We are a young couple originally from Uruguay (Punta del Este and Montevideo) visiting our Australian side of the family on long term Work and Holiday. I'm (Virginia) a graduate from the school of Finance/Business of Stetson University in Florida-United States, and Tennis Coach. Will is a musician/electrician/Safety Officer. We have been relocated for work to Melbourne with my company and are very excited about this new challenge. Both of us are very nice and easy going, respectful and neat flatmates who like a nice night out for good live music and delicious food, but also very much enjoy staying at home and have friends over for dinner when possible. Music, movie, food, and of course travel lovers!
Hi there, I'm 29 and have just moved to Melbourne from London. I'm originally from NZ but have a great bunch of mates here already so I won't be moping about, promise! I work in marketing and in my downtime enjoy design, music, travel and accidentally overspending at cafes/bars/restaurants. Ideally, I'd like to move into a social flat with 2+ other flatmates
