I'm going on holiday for 6weeks from 3rd June to 14th July and am looking for a beautiful human to look after my room whilst I'm gone. My room is upstairs, fully furnished with queen bed, desk, chest of draws, vanity dresser and built in wardrobe. My house is located down an alleyway off a quiet street. It's 2-story and fully furnished with quirky artwork and cushions from around the world. The perks of my house are the 2bathrooms, separate laundry, walk in pantry, ducted gas heating, light well and open living area with a projector and VHS player. Our backyard is currently being revamped and will be done by the time you arrive. We are in Fitzroy North, known for its parks/cafes/bars/pubs and great location. There is free unlimited on street parking and many public transport options. 2min to bus stop (504, 250, 251), 5min to tram stop (86), 5min Rushall Train Station (South Morang), 10min walk to tram stop (11). We are looking for one person 20-30yo, preferably not working late nights, doesn't need to fill the whole 6weeks. Happy to answer any questions you have :)
It's a really homely apartment where the sun shines in the morning and the moon glows at night. Relatively modern vibe in the kitchen with a large living room. There's a balcony as well that's gets flooded with sunshine. I really love this place.
I'm Caitlin, an English / EAL teacher with a rescue cat, Ginger Annie, who is okay with other cats, and is domesticated (a real smooch). I'm returning to Melbourne after stints in the NT and Bendigo, and love the Kew / Fairfield areas. I don't smoke, love spontaneous dinner parties too, play guitar (acoustic, quietly in my room), write a bit n love live music.
Hey! A cruisy guy here currently looking for an ideal place convenient to the city. Prefer north side but exceptions can be made. I'm clean, respectable and get a long with most people. If you're the same, hit me up Luke :)
I've just moved back to Australia after living in the US for the last two years. I'm 30 years old and work full time as a software engineer. I'm pretty easy to get along with and have plenty of share house experience. I'm always keen to share a few drinks and a meal with my housemates. I'm a fairly decent cook as well and have learned how to cook a proper BBQ after living in the US! I like travel (my most recent destinations were Peru & Cuba), skiing, and enjoying some live music. Looking to move in ASAP!
Hi future housemates, I am a 26 year old Melbournite looking for a place to live for 3-4 months. I work at a tech start-up called Equiem as a Platform Performance Manager, but don't worry I'm not a total tech geek and I can get my way around a conversation. During the week, I'm pretty chill and mainly am working but on the weekends I'm usually out and about. I'm easy-going, generally pretty damn tidy person and I get along with most people so I'm sure I'd make a great housemate. I haven't had any complaints from housemates thus far! If you think I sound like I'd be a good addition to your house, chuck me a message. Cheers, Autumn
Hi, My name's Tim. I'm a 33 year old aspiring comedian. I am a vegetarian and a non-smoker and I love comedy, music, reading, flowers and gardening. I'm clean, relaxed, friendly, financially independent and good in a crisis, all qualities I'd like in my housemates. If I sound like someone you'd like to live with send me a message!
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
- neat, tidy and clean - new to Melbourne from interstate - health professional - length of stay 9+ months - car park required (off street would be ideal)
I'm french, 32 and came in australia 1 year and half ago. The plan is to be here more longer . Waiting for the sponsor to be approved, so should be soon now. I'm working as a manager in a thai restaurant near victoria market, full time with pretty good hour for hospitality. Generally monday to friday until 9pm. I live in northcote at the moment. What houseshare means to me is like family, enjoy a glass, a meal, a party, a trip maybe, a chat and laugh times to times but obviously respect alone time aswell. Because I'm french i will try to bribe you with a bottle of wine. So if you have some preference let me know😊. I lived in japan for 4years so in my text a use a lot of emojis 😅 hahaha Cheers
We are a fun, energetic and easy going couple that would love to be apart of your home. Anni was born in Florida, America, but grew up in Finland most of her life, she met me (Massimo), who was born and raised in Melbourne, In Vietnam during our travels. We have only just moved back to melbourne and are in need of a place to stay. Hoping we can be apart of your beautiful home! Massimo and Anni
From the UK originally, have lived here 7+ years. Looking to start a lease on a house northside, pretty keen to get a cat :) I work Monday to Friday and enjoy chilling out in the evenings, producing music, going down the pub, watching movies, cooking badly, etc. On weekends I often DJ around bars in Melbourne. I also love Hawaiian pizza...sorry. If you're interested, let's catch up for a drink!
22yo English/Aussie gal working in a restaurant and occasionally temping in admin. I'm looking to start a course in social work next year (fingers crossed). I'm happy to do less than a year but I plan to be in Melbourne for a while so I'd love to find a place to call home. I moved to Aus from London in September, and I've been in and around Melbourne since November. I'm living in Fitzroy North at the moment with a family friend and I've completely fallen in love with the area so I wanna stay as close as possible. I was born in Sydney, so I've got dual citizenship which is pretty cool and means I can stay forever and I won't bugger off after a couple of months cos my visa has expired. I'm super easygoing, I like to bake, go to gigs/galleries/gay bars, drink coffee/wine, hang out with dogs (cats are cool too but pups have a special place in my heart). I love to party (although I don't want/need a party house - I like to keep it chill at home) and go on adventures. I love to hang out with friends/family and I tend to leave my door open.
Hey there flatmates, I'm a 26 year old easy-going Canadian on a working holiday visa. (Currently looking for a job) I'm super neat and organized. Love to keep things tidy! I've spent the last 5 years as a mother's helper/housekeeper, so I know the ins and outs of keeping a home maintained and livable. The way to my heart is through good/nutritious food, great beer, and excellent company. I love a good day/night out here and there, but there's something quite wonderful about staying in, watching a good flick, reading a good book, or just chilling. My passions include health and fitness, food, exploration, and water filled beach days.
Hi ! I'm Régis, I'm a french student in an engineering school in Paris. I'll be 3 months in Melbourne for an internship at the university. I'm looking for a shared house around the university where I could find a friendly environment I think I'm clean and easy going person :) I'm passionate of music ( I play piano and accordion ) and I like very much mountain sports :-) I practice rock climbing and I hope can do some in Melbourne ! I also do enjoy visiting and exploring, so I look forward to moving a bit to see Melbourne and its surroundings :)
Hi there, I'm a 31 year old female looking for a house in Northcote, Fitzroy North or Fitzroy. I work full time in comedy in Collingwood. I lead a pretty busy lifestyle. When I'm not out going to gigs or comedy shows I'm at Pilates or Muay Thai, hanging out with friends, or out and about discovering new bars and cafes. I'm always up for a quiet drink, a board game session or family TV time when I'm at home, but I'm also very respectful of personal space and alone time. Perks of living with me include: -Dyson vacuum -A particular skill for scone baking -A Netflix, Stan AND Foxtel GO subscription -Free tickets to comedy -Stories - I've got them I'm looking to move at some point in the next 6 weeks. Please shoot me a message if you're interested in meeting up.
Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm a cheerful, easy-going 36 year old looking for similarly friendly and relaxed peeps to live with. I'm happy to find something for 2-3 months while I search for something more permanent. Having a home I love is important to me - it's somewhere to bring friends, somewhere to escape to, somewhere to get lost in my latest creative project or boogie in the bathroom while I'm getting ready for work. I like living with calm, mature open people who have their own lives but don't mind a chat or a shared meal from time to time. I work full time in the CBD, and like to spend my spare time catching up with friends, dancing, cooking, reading, sewing, and having a little dalliance with Netflix every now and again. I have a busy social life and am out quite a bit, and it would be great live with others who are similarly social. I've met some great people through previous housemates! It's worth mentioning that I appreciate having a tidy home, so if that's not your thing then we're probably not destined to be roomies. I'm looking for a place in the inner north - Fitzroy North, Brunswick East, Northcote are my preference - with up to 3 people. I'd love a place that's got a light airy feel and is close to public transport, and a garden is a definite plus.
HEY! I'm Matty, currently living in Fitzroy and looking for some genuine people to live with. Clean, friendly and funny and not half bad at cooking if I do say so myself. Looking to share with some friendly guys or gals so if you're interested hit me up Cheers.
I am currently looking for a room anywhere around Melbourne CBD and its surrounding areas. I am a very easy going 30 year old that currently works for a bar in the city (bartending but also managing their social media and PR on the side). I am very respectful of other people's spaces, love a good chat / hang but also love 'me' time. I am very clean and pay rent and bills on time. I have two rescue pups, Wolfgang my tiny staffy and Loki my big sook. Both are well behaved, toilet trained etc. They absolutely love people and bring a smile to everyones faces. I am happy to also pay a pet bond on top of whatever bond is required.
A bit about me. I work full time in media and my job often keeps me working late or at events on school nights. When I am at home you’ll find me binging on Netflix and fawning over cats on the Internet. When not at home you’ll find me petting other people’s dogs at new bars/cafes/restaurants or checking out live music at a gig/festival. A bit more about me. I’m trying (and failing) at getting fit. I love breakfast at any time apart from breakfast time. I enjoy cooking…but I’m pretty great at eating out/ordering in. I think cheese is a dinner food. I have terrible taste in movies. I have an excellent costume collection and am always willing to share. I see housemates as good mates and want to meet your friends too, but am happy for us to have our own space. I might not be at home a huge amount, but when I am I make up for it by always having cold beer (or wine) in the fridge, loving a good chat, being keen for family dinner cook-ups, hungover Sunday Netflix binges, mid-week bevs (or 6), enjoying a weekend cleaning session and always paying rent/bills on time. I also have heaps of furniture + kitchen things. I’m flexible with my moving dates, but am keen to be out some time in May/June. I'm looking for a room in a great place or to team up with people and start our own. I come with pretty much a 2 bedroom place full of things, but am open to popping a bit in storage.
I'm chilled out, independent and have an excellent work / life balance. I grew up in Tassie and have lived in Melbourne for six years. I work as an in-house lawyer for a wonderful infrastructure project and my hobbies include cooking, yoga and photography.
I am a 27 year-old female who works as an interior designer while finishing my masters in teaching. I am really chilled and clean. I like art and culture, movies and travel. I am out quite a lot for activities such as choir rehearsals, futsal games, meeting friends and gigs. I am looking for somewhere to move in at the beginning of June but is negotiable.
