Hi there, we are a Brazilian/British couple looking for somewhere to call home for 3-4 months! We've been living in Brunswick East for the last 8 months but unfortunately our lease is up beginning of next year (more specifically Jan 4th). A little about me, I am Laura, 28, from the UK, lived in New Zealand and Australia previously, big passion for travel, music and architecture. Adriane is a Brazilian national who has also lived previously in the UK, USA, Chile and Australia. During the week we would both be working/studying so we just want a place to relax in the evenings, maybe cook a nice meal or go to the gym, watch a movie on Netflix etc, weekends would be pretty similar... we are not massive party people! We enjoy going to gigs/concerts, keeping active/outdoors and eating FOOD. I would say we are both pretty easy going people just looking for somewhere to live in Melbourne not too far from the CBD due to work commute and study location. Any questions or availability on a place would be awesome! Ideally we want an entire apartment/one/two bed flat NO STUDIOS. Fully furnished or at least all furniture included. Must come with internet/TV, basically somewhere we can move in hassle free. If we had a preferred area I would say Brunswick East grew on us and we just love our neighbourhood and its surroundings... we are however open to other areas dependent on costs and distances to the CBD. We are open to A housemate, so if you are looking to find someone/a couple for a 2nd bedroom feel free to give us a message and we would be happy to meet up and see the place :) Thanks!
Hey there! My name is Josh. I'm 25 from the UK and looking for a place with my boyfriend, Brian (30) from Taiwan. I'm a former teacher who is doing part time work at an Escape Room, while my boyfriend is a web designer by trade. We're both friendly, responsible and considerate housemates to live with. We'll happily join any arrangements and do our bit to keep the house nice. We love a good chat and would love to make new friends, but appreciate everyone's boundaries. I'm a bit of a geek who likes writing, literature, video games and TV, but I also love going out for a drink occasionally and attending comedy shows. Brian loves fitness classes, music and art. We're a balance between extroverted and introverted. We've been in Melbourne a month now and are looking for a longer term place for the duration of our working holiday visas in the neighbourhoods listed. Looking for somewhere to settle down for a while make our own rather than living out of a suitcase!
Hey there. I'm a 22 year old student originally from Queensland looking for a new place to stay. When I'm not working or studying I'm mainly into sport (footy, cricket, football), also love driving around Victoria discovering cool places. I'm also fond of the odd random 2 week trip overseas, especially if it involves skiing and/or kayaking. As a flatmate - pay my rent - respect other flatmates - do dishes - don't smoke
We are two friends that are from Adelaide and have moved to Melbourne this year. Alex is a Masters student at the University of Melbourne and Shakira works full time at a start-up.
I'm new to Melbourne, recently relocated from Auckland, New Zealand. Looking to live somewhere central enough to my work. I want to live in a house of sociables who love to have a good time and don't mind living with a recording artist who might have recording sessions from time to time. I'm outgoing, respectful, love cleanliness in common spaces and want a house I can call home. I have a 9-5 job as a work assistant for a food delivery app so bills are always paid on time! Right now I'm just seeing what's out there. If you think I'd gel with you current house situation then message me on here or my phone with viewing times, house info and house photos.
Hi there, I’m moving to from Brisbane to Melbourne in Jan and I'm looking for a place to call home! I'll be working full-time and start studying part-time in March. I'd like to move into a place early-mid Jan (dates flexible). A bit about me - I work in consulting and I'll be starting a Masters of Development Studies at Unimelb. For fun i like to read, do yoga, eat a lot (veggie) and binge-listen podcasts. On the weekends I go to the beach, hang out with friends, and sometimes don't mind having a few drinks and a boogie. My ideal living situation would involve a tidy space, with lots of natural sunlight, with people who are friendly and respectful!
Hi future flatmates! I am 25 and am currently studying in Master Banking & Finance in Switzerland and am coming to Melbourne for an exchange semester at La Trobe (Feb - Jun 2020). I don't plan on being on campus too much, so I'm looking for a room closer to the city! To me: I am typically Swiss/Bosnian, very neat, uncomplicated and always in a good mood! I'm looking for a shared flat with people who are open for a beer or some party but also sometimes can enjoy the peace and quiet alone in their room. I exercise regularly (and am down for all kinds of sports) but also love to just hang out and eat a huge pizza. I also love electronic music and would like to discover the techno scene of Melbourne with my roommates sometimes! If you are looking for someone uncomplicated, sociable and fun to have, but also tidy and reliable, then I would be happy to meet you! P.S. Since there is so much to discover in Australia and the surrounding area, I will often be away for a long weekend and the place is all yours!;)
