Hi I am an introvert who loves to socialise with housemates and I view the people I live with as extended fam. I also value having my own social life external to the house. I spend quite a bit of time in my room studying, but love to have a beer or cuppa at the end of the day to debrief and have a laugh. I love cleaning when I have the time (especially as procrastination tactics) and I clean up after myself as I go. My only cleaning request of others is to keep the kitchen clean. I can be shy to start with sometimes, but it doesn't last long. I am studying in the city and working in the burbs. I love my work so I won't be complaining at the end of the day unless to problem slove. I like a dance and I like to go to music gigs. I am pretty positive and happy most of the time, I am a good listener too. I try to stay aware of what others like, get annoyed at and avoid, and I don't mind talking through house mate issues in a sensitive way, even if it gets uncomfortable in the moment, am pretty good at bouncing back from conflict. My previous housemates still try to get me to live with them, so I suppose that is a good sign that I am good to live with!
I'm Robbi from Cork, Ireland. I recently moved here and I'm on the search for a nice place to live. A bit about myself - I feel I'm quite an open and honest person. I love exploring new things about myself and the world and growing and deepening as much as I can from them. I enjoy meeting interesting kind hearted people and having real conversations. I'm open minded and try to be accepting of all people and above all, just practice being more and more myself and supporting others to do the same. I work as a massage therapist and I'm also studying various holistic/body focused therapies. My interests include meditation, yoga, gym, nature and connecting with like minded people over a coffee or beer.
I'm an interaction designer from Belgium, I was living in Chile this 5 last years and I'm moving now to Melbourne for 1 year. I'm open mind, funny and I love to share with other :)
Hey! I'm a Sydney boy living in Melbourne for just over a year now and loving it. My time in my current house has been great but I'm keen to try living in the inner north suburbs. I'm all about bringing positivity, peace and respect to the places I live. I enjoy good chats, good music and a drink or two. I work full-time in the finance industry, take it easy most weeknights and enjoy being social on the weekend. I’m looking for a communal household that enjoys spending time together but also appreciates doing their own thing. If you're at all into sport, heading out for a beer or hitting a live music gig - i'm your man. I generally like to "clean-as-i-go" so messiness isn't an issue and am more than happy to contribute to household chores and cleaning.
Hi, I'm Liam, a 34 year old researcher from Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to call home in the Northcote/Thornbury area. I'm independent and like to keep busy, but would also like to socialise sometimes (eg, drink, chat and dinner) with my housemates. In my spare time I like to hang with friends, watch the occasional footy match (but I'm not totally sports mad), and generally get out and about. I'm neat and tidy and would like to live in a nice environment, which means I will do my share of the housekeeping to keep the house looking nice. Liam. P.S. I've said I'm looking for six months, but that is a min, not max.
Born and raised in Melbourne, 31, of Fijian Australian descent and hold a part time (Tue – Fri) arts administrator role at the City of Melbourne & volunteer for JOY FM on side when I can. I live a quiet life style, enjoying reading, cooking, yoga, listening to great tunes and having a laugh. I enjoy comedy and like having good philosophical chats with friends, housemates and anyone else…I am open to sharing my meals/drinks with my housemates as I am interested in creating nice energy between those I live with. I have lived in a share house for a long time now so understand the importance in keeping tidy, paying rent on time and respecting other people’s space. My days of partying are over but am known to enjoy the odd party here & there. I come with no pets, pescatarian (not strict) relatively environmental friendly and own very minimal stuff. Looking at sharing a space with like minded people, or decent people at that. Cheers, Katherine
My name is Lily and I'm a 19 yr old living in Sydney currently working in a bar, but wanting to move to Melbourne indefinitely. I would be looking to find another bar job, so mainly working nights. I enjoy spending time outdoors including the beach/ eating out, and going out on the weekends but also enjoy being at home. I enjoy socialising but also keeping to myself from time to time
I'm Maisie, 25 and from the UK. I currently work in office administration while finding the time for more creative pursuits such as illustration, sewing and knitting. I'm very clean and tidy and respectful of people's privacy. I'm social, often seeing friends in the evenings and down for drinks and cooking. In my spare time I enjoy the movies (I go to the cinema a lot), live music, reading and chilling with friends - often whilst knitting/ drinking/ playing cards. I enjoy keeping a clean home and having a space to take pride in and that's welcoming and relaxing.
Hey! I'm ideally looking for a furnished double room, in Fitzroy/Collingwood/Carlton/Brunswick East. I’m a confident, sociable, tidy guy from England. I also like to think I can have a laugh and know how to have a good time. I am currently living in the outer suburbs with family but ideally this is very short term, so I would love to hear from everyone as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to message me.
I work at a school in the design department, helping kids design and build their creations. I love to cook and i'm always happy to help out my house mates with anything they need! I also love to rock climb, paint and build things!
I'm an admin assistant for Country Road. I'm currently living in Williamstown and am looking to move more north side as most of my friends are based there. I'm very social and mostly do my own thing but enjoying having good banter around the house. I like to think I'm pretty easy going and good housemate. If any of this sounds interesting to you, please message me
Hi guys! My name is Kate and I am a 27 year old artist/designer. I am a relaxed, creative, fun individual who enjoys cups of tea, indoor plants, cooking, gardening, playing guitar, going to gigs, chilling out with housemates, dinner parties and Netflix. I am pretty busy/independent as I have a studio and work part time so am often working lots but loving it. However really keen to find a place that is more of a home and with people who share similar interests and want to hang out a little too!
Hi! I’m a 21yo musical theatre student studying in South Melbourne. I’m from Geelong but looking to take a jump and move to Melbourne. As I’m a coffee loving, wine loving, vegetarian, triple j obsessed kinda kid I’d ideally like to live near Fitzroy. I am a Lush employee also so a place would a bath would warm my little heart. I like dogs, plants and people alike. I will happily bring my records collection and stash of books with me, along side a long list of musicals I think are fantastic (I do enjoy non singing films also haha) I’m the kind of housemate who would love to sit for a chat and a cuppa/bevvy, and occasionally stumble home with you. However my course is pretty intense so during school terms I’ll be pretty tame. I also love home cooking and will happily share food items :) Hope to hear from you soon! - Alysha
I love my home and I am keen to share it with the right flatmate. It's fantastically located north of the city, close to the 96 and 12 trams, with plenty of cycle routes in all directions. The view of the city from potentially your bedroom window, is beautiful especially at night. It's a pretty quiet location away from the main road, yet with plenty of amenities nearby. The block is full of friendly neighbours ranging in ages, and people always stop for a chat. Downstairs is open plan living, dining and kitchen, with a laundry room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a shared bathroom with shower and separate toilet. The house is furnished with everything I think I need (your room could potentially be furnished too). I choose to not have a tv, and would rather sit and listen to music and chat. I have a great little garden, both inside and outside is well dressed with plants and foliage. You would be sharing with myself and Lola, my friendly, independent 5year old feline. She is out harassing the neighbours during the day and comes in for attention at night.
Let me introduce myself, Ivo Bruijnaers, from the Netherlands and 26 years young. I graduated my bachelor course of Facility management a year ago and decided to travel. Now my budget runs low I would like to settle for 6 months in Melbourne to earn my money back. But most important to be social and make new friends along the way. What can you expect from me? I am a open-minded, social and clean person whom has respect for others persons space, cultures and habits. Furthermore, I have a passion for food and am able to prepare delicious dishes. Love to play board/card games and social events; gigs, random nights out, sports etc. I will be up for nearly everything as I would like to experience it all. Kind regards, Ivo
Hello beautiful people! ❤️ I have one room on Brunswick street, Fitzroy ready for a new owner. I'm going overseas soon for a while, so you're going to take over my lease. The place is fully furnished, with almost everything you'll need.( a printer, kitchenware, rice cooker, frying pan, pots, washing machine, cleaning supplies etc.) The room can be furnished or unfurnished. If you'd like any of the items that you see in the pictures, including the bed, bed-side table and working table, chair, bookcase, clothes rack, the mirror and the curtains, we can discuss and I can sell them to you in a reasonable price. The room is 295 Aus dollar per week not including other bills, but internet, gas and electricity are all ready to be used, you'll just need to share the bill with your new roommate every month. And you'll need to transfer the bond (1770 aus dollar) once you move in. It has big windows, high ceiling, wood floor and the sunshine would fill your room joyously in the daytime.🌻 The place is close to all the shops and restaurants on Brunswick street. You can just take tram 11 across the road to the city. Edinburgh garden is also across the road, and it would only take 5 minutes to walk there. So you can enjoy both the city life offered by this area and the green environment which would peace your mind. And if you have a lovely animal friend, you're welcome to bring him/her with you but you'll need to inform the agent. Ladies only, and sorry guys, couples are not considered. Inspection is ready now.
Hello, I'm Ben, 28, recently moved from Perth and looking for a place with some like-minded people. I work full time as an environmental scientist which keeps me pretty busy however when i get a chance I like to surf, read, play Futsol (currently looking for a team) and travel. Having recently moved I'm keen to meet new people but don't worry I have an existing network here and have my own thing going on as well. I've lived in sharehouses as long as I can remember and wouldn't have it any other way, I've made some of my best friends out of complete strangers. I value a nice place to live and a sense of community so its important to me to live with warm people. I'm looking to team up with easy going peeps, who aren't funny with the money things, who are social and good at getting along with others. If you're also working 9-5ish that'd work pretty well. If you think we may be a thang, lemme know.

I moved to Melbourne from Denmark 5 years ago and absolutely fell in love with the place. I have since progressed in my career and made great friends here which keeps me busy during the week. I an very easy going and I love a good chat/deeper conversation and generally just hanging out with fun people. I have been living with a partner for the last 5 years, so I am very used to sharing a space and respecting other peoples way of living. On my weekends I am usually going camping, mountain biking, hiking etc. If I stay in Melbourne I go to a lot of gigs, out for dinner drinks, dance and other fun adventures! I am looking to share a space with someone who is as easy going and personable, but still with a good understanding for sharing a space.

Hello, We are a young couple looking for a lease transfer. We would love to live in the inner north suburbs of Melbourne. I work in the wine distribution industry and Thomas works in the fresh fruit distribution industry. We are young professionals - working Mon-Fri 9-5 in the inner city suburbs. We are looking for a 1 bedroom apartment/house/townhouse to call our own and move from our current share house. We are easy-going, relaxed couple who love the outdoors, a nice home-cooked meal with a glass of wine and enjoy the culture that Melbourne has to offer! We are also very clean and respectful and have references to vouch for that. Please contact us if you might have a place for us! Thanks, Nikki and Tom
