In my spare time I enjoy photography, yoga, dance and camping. I am an experienced renter, clean, reliable and communicative person who enjoys keeping a friendly and clean home environment.
We are a german couple Lukas (25, student) and Jule (24, teacher) and will be staying in Melbourne till the beginning of july. Me, Lukas, will be studying business at RMIT for 1 semester. My girlfriend will be joining me at the end of march to do an internship at the german elementary school in Melbourne. We are both open minded organized and respectful people. We are both into sports and working out. We like to cook or to go out and sozialize and spend time with friends, but we are no crazy party animals. We are both financially supported by our parents.. We are really looking forward to our time in Melbourne and would love to have a nice place to stay:-)
Hi, I'm Simon. I'm 29, currently studying teaching at Melbourne Uni, and work 2 days a week as an ICT manager in a school. I'm looking to move up because the trek from Geelong has gotten old. I am passionate about science, tech, and learning new things. I enjoy cooking, and sharing the results; I'm also quite handy at repair and fixing computer problems. I'm not a partier, but do enjoy socialising with a good group of friends.
Hi there, I’m 24 yrs old, working in a cafe. Usually get up early and have a regular life. I like cycling, cook and coffee. Always keep rhe enviroment nice and clean. I’m a quiet person but friendly to have a talk:)
*Strictly looking for private room with ensuite bathroom. May consider own bathroom depending on proximity and privacy* Full-time Masters student moving into Melbourne for the first time (I've been here before tho). Easy going, loves socializing and I think I have a pretty unique sense of humor. I have a whole lot of interests but still very open-minded. However, i do value my privacy as well. I totally believe in the live and let live philosophy, I really do not care what you do as long as it does not affect me. That is why I'm looking for a single room with an ensuite bathroom (no exceptions). I like to keep fit as well so having a gym in the building or one nearby is a huge bonus. I also do not mind animals (love them actually), I grew up with pets so rest assured (if you have one). Haven't decided on bringing my car, i do want to so let me know the situation (extra cost and what not). I do realise that melbourne might not be best to own a car. Positives: - Flatshare experienced of around 4 years (never missed a payment) - I do not cook beyond using the microwave sometimes, cleanliness won't be an issue in common areas - Tech savy, will fix internet connections, maybe even recommend on cost lowering, might even make the apartment "high tech" - We will have a good relationship because if we do not I'll probably move out myself, I like to have a positive environment.
Hello, I will be uprooting from Sydney to Melbourne (long-term) in a month's time for work and seek a roof over my head for when I hit the ground. I've been living in a share situation for the past few years and am not fussy in most regards. I'm quite pensive and adopt a simple approach to lifestyle. Although I'm reclusive in my current state, moving into a new city might just bring out the adventurer in me (who knows?). I imagine like most, I do appreciate some space, quiet, cleanliness and friendly vibes in the environment.

Hi everyone! I'm Lia 26 years old, after 4 years living in Mexico City I'm starting a new story in Australia as a student. I'm looking for a place where I can feel comfortable, if it is possible with a lot of natural light not so far away from the Uni. I'm a very respectful, easy-going and clean person, I have lived in share flats for the last 8 years. I really enjoy music, picnics, pilates, food and a hot cup of tea :)
Hello! I'm Jacob and I spend most of my time making/studying music and teaching journalism classes at Melbourne Uni. I'm looking to move for two main reasons: my place isn't very homely or practical and my housemate situation has always been okay, but with it's fair share of annoyances. Ultimately, I think I'm super easy to get along with, very clean and tidy and genuinely interested in the wellbeing of people around me. I moved to Melbourne from Perth in 2016, where I worked as a journalist and DJed now and then. I mostly make different types of electronic music – and music is very much my thing – but I've found I'm a curious and creative type more generally. I guess another side of me is pretty interested in writing, politics and assosociated stuff. But maybe the best thing about me is that I'm completely open to living with all types and identities, so long as they don't hurt others around them. If you want any more info, feel free to get at me! Jacob

London girl moving to Melbourne to work - will most likely be in an office job 9-5 doing events management or something of the sort. I'm pretty laid back but I do like to go out and party, chill, cook and I clean up after myself. I used to be a personal trainer so I'm so excited to get into a gym after 5 months of travelling and into some yoga and meditation too. I'm super sociable but will respect if you don't like that - sometimes I need a day off too! Bonus is that I think I'm kinda funny accidently and I'm a really good listener so you can come to me with your problems 😉. I have tattoos, sometimes I like being fancy and wearing heels, but also I love beer and playing pool.
Hello! That’s me in the Beanie – I have no good photos of myself. I’m looking for a room somewhere across Melbourne’s north, from around April, which is much sooner than you may think. Can move before that for the right house. I would like to pay as little as possible but expect to pay much, much more. I am a trans woman in my 40’s (oh my God!) and am well and truly house trained re money, cleanliness, personal space etc. I am looking for a home, not just a house. I like to live with people who are friendly and like to hang out but I also want a home where I can have me time too. I became a nurse a couple of years ago and I also work for a charity in Melbourne’s west. I have a bike for the city and a motorbike for the country. I also have a car (I realise this many vehicles could be a problem). I volunteer at Trades Hall and my politics are definitely of the Left and Feminist. I love creativity, being creative, watching creative, listening to creative. RRR/PBS not Fox/MMM ABC/SBS not 7,9,10. NOVA not Hoyts 30 Rock, not 3rd Rock You get the idea… I love kitty cats and most animals too. Wombats and Wallabies are my fav Australian animals – I hope they’ll be on our Republic Coat of Arms! Hopefully that’s enough to at least get me a house tour and a cup of tea. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Amy
Hey:) we, Theresa (25) and Felix (26) - a german couple, are looking for a place to stay, while studying at La Trobe University for the next semester. We are both laid back and tidy persons, who like doing sports (outdoor / team sports), other outdoor activities as well as meeting new exciting people. We wanna make this stay a great experience while being in Melbourne and around. We are both experienced in flatsharing, like cooking and are always up for a beer and/or a chat.
Hi! I'm 23, British, young professional looking for one bedroom in a sharehouse starting asap. I'm easy going, clean and very sociable. I'm moving back to Melbourne this weekend, work as an Business Analyst in the city and looking to get sponsorship to stay for the forceable. Ideally after a short term lease until June as I'm going home for a month but open to full leases. Originally lived in Prahran so around this area would be amazing but with the right house and people I'd be happy in most inner city suburbs. Please let me know if you have anything and we can chat!
Hey guys, we are a Couple from Germany, Mike (23) and Antonia (20) years old. We are searching for a low priced room. Mike is an Australian and German citizen, who does his term abroad and I want to work during this period, because we want to travel after his term. We are both clean, tidy and quite lodgers but we also like new people. We like sports, cooking and trying new things 😊 If there is a pet at residence, it's no problem in Germany we have pets too.
Hey, We're looking for a third housemate for our sweet place in Fitzroy North. It's a lovely house, with an open plan kitchen/ living area and courtyard out the back - great for afternoon beers! The free room is upstairs with a nice view, air con/heating and built in wardrobe. Perfect location with cafes, pubs and Piedimontes just around the corner.
I'm a 24 years old, about to become 25, Brazilian ( from Rio de Janeiro) who has come to Australia to study. I love life, like to know new places and people, i'm extroverted and sociable, but I also like to have a quiet and relaxed time at home. I'm looking for fun and relaxed people to move in with, who enjoys hanging out together, netflix and drinking beer, but also have their own space. I'm willing to teach you how to samba and other brazilian things if you'd like. :)
I have recently taken the plunge to leave my full-time professional job in Western Australia and pursue a Master’s degree in Melbourne! I’ll be studying at the University of Melbourne and looking to find a place that’s not too far away and within good range of public transport. I am an easygoing, respectful and clean housemate. I love good conversations and spending quality time with people but am also fairly quiet and independent. I love to travel and am excited to explore my new home city! Outside of studying I enjoy reading, walking, visits to the cinema, sampling craft beers, and Zumba. I love animals and would be ultra happy to find somewhere that has a cat or dog :)
I'm a full-time student studying creative writing and editing, working part-time as a waiter in a cafe. I'm currently living in a share house in Kew, where I've been for the past year. In my spare time I'm into street photography (which hopefully doesn't sound too creepy when I describe it as walking around taking candid photos of strangers going about their lives), writing stories and poetry, reading, and gardening (though I'm equally good at killing plants too!). I love hanging out with my housemates, whether that's at home with board games or chaining a couple bars together on a night out!
