Hola hola! This is Pablo, an interior designer/architect from Spain who recently decided to move back to Melbourne (already lived here 2 years ago). I'm gonna start a Project Management course in October and also will be working part time so busy times ahead! I'm currently at a friend's room so im in the hunt of a proper place to move in as I will stay here for a considerable length of time. Last time I lived in Fitzroy (Bell St) and loved it so that's why im looking around this area, North Fitzroy, Collingwood and Carlton are also convenient for me! I'm super easy going, responsable and tidy boy so if you guys think I could be your future housemate and you feel like meeting me in person PLEASE contact me! :) _Pd: I love cooking so I offer myself to make a proper paella and other Spanish meals whenever you want! :) :)
Hello, My name is Antonin, I am French and I am looking for a nice flatshare around the city center of Melbourne starting in october. I already lived 6 months in this great city but I went back to Europe to feel the northern hemisphere summer :) I am therefore looking for a new place to live as I just came back. I have a financial studies background, I have worked as a maths teacher the last five years and since I arrived in Melbourne I have done loads of different jobs: waiter in a French restaurant in Carlton district; private Maths teacher for kids; extra on filming set... I am trustworthy, calm but always try to have fun, easygoing and clean… which should be normal! I enjoy travels, adventures, sports and socializing among other things. I spent the last 5 years working in South America, and loved it! I therefore speak Spanish as well. Thanks for reviewing my message and hope to hear from you soon. Best, Antonin
I'm Emma, an Adelaide girl looking for a place in Melbourne. I have recently been living in Canada and I'm making the move back home. I am looking to share with like minded people who are fun, clean, social. I work in Marketing and also have a passion for Graphic Design.
Annie and I are two Californians with our working holiday visas looking to work in the city. We will probably be working quite a bit but also love to hang out and go out on weekends. We're both cleanly and respectful people and would love to meet some new people :)
We're a young professional couple with two dogs. We're looking for someone who's interested in saving money or getting debt free to help us do the same and the long term team/friendship that comes with it. We have good taste in music, food and people, but I guess everyone thinks that they do... We're moving to Melbourne in October and want to team up to get a nice place as close to the city as possible for the best price possible - with a yard for the dogs. Steve: A Canadian Engineer working in Southbank and master of the meme, Steve's pretty stereotypical Canada in a lot of ways. He's an outdoorsman and fly-fisherman that does engineering as a necessity to fund his addiction to chasing fish. Also an aspiring ninja that hasn't reconciled the fact that his luminary childhood dreams of world domination will most likely never come to fruition. Sometimes prone to write SJW stuff online. Mic: Mic is an Australian that works in retail management for a national chocolatier. She's keen on live music, animals (her Facebook feed is literally about 75% raccoons, dogs and otters), a major foodie and Beatles fan. If you don't understand or empathise with the plight of women in the modern world, swipe left - or whatever you do on Flatmates... Mana and Mocha: Mana is a 4 year old brindle staffy X who has mastered the art of the guilt trip. Having easily the most expressive dog's face you'll ever see, she likes to lounge around or run around or do anything fun really. Her favourite place to be is snuggled with someone - or the park, or... y'know what? She just likes to be Mana, wherever that is. She does fart a bit, though. Mocha is a 4 year old tan kelpie with OCD. Whilst waiting for her food or begging for yours, she can be easily fooled into chasing a ball instead, which can then be used to your advantage to eat in peace or get her to go outside, etc. She's a snuggle magnet with a turkey neck. Great for winters in front of Netflix, but sometimes she gives you this really judgmental look, like "What are you doing with your life? Stop watching Mad Men and go outside for a bit." *Disclaimer* Not to be political, but we're left leaning tolerant people that don't subscribe to bullshit norms and get pissed off by cruelty to animals, which means that you can complain to us about your problems and get support to chase your dreams, but we won't clean up your shit or entertain revisionist bullshit that puts Tony Abbott on a pedestal. Hate isn't welcome in our lives. If you don't genuinely like dogs, it won't work - guaranteed. Oh, and Sunday morning is for homemade pancakes. It's a ritual. Sometimes I'll make crepes instead of pancakes, but it's usually pancakes with homemade mascarpone and some sort of fruit or chocolate sauce we've made. I can always make more to feed the house.
i work in the film and tv industry in melbourne and around the world.. currently finishing work on an hbo show called the leftovers. will be i am very clean and tidy and easy to get along with. very into art and music of all types, have lived with couples with babies before, nothing much fazez me in that respect. i like to achieve things with my days, i skate, paint and run most days.. and make books.
My Names Laura, I'm 24 years old and I work full time in the city at a 9-5, looking for someplace to live that's close to work and nightlife. I recently moved back to Melbourne after living over seas. I'm clean, tidy and love to cook. I love to keep active and socialise. I'm looking to live with people I can hang out with, have a drink and a laugh with. This is as well as respecting each others space and privacy. I really wan to live with people who are laid back and relaxed but also keep things relatively clean. I love to go out on the weekends for a few beers. I love checking out the local music scene and meeting new people. I keep pretty quiet during the week, spend most nights going to the gym or relaxing. Let me know if I seem like the kind of person you could get along with.
I've lived in sharehouses for around ten years and really value clicking with my housemates. When I'm not brewing commercially I like keeping active with squash and other sports, painting, cooking and going to gigs. I like to think I'm pretty easy to get along with and like both hanging with housemates and having a bit of alone time. Happy to chat by phone or meet up
Easy going couple that loves to stay in sometimes or to be around and about exploring the city. We both like some computer games and having a nice chat over a drink.
21 year old male, very recently moved to Melbourne for work. I work full time doing Environmental work. I'm tidy and clean up after myself and happy to help with my fair share of general chorus. Im open to doing weekly group dinners but for most of the week I will be cooking my own meals. I believe I sit somewhere nicely in the middle of socalising around the house and doing my own thing. And happy to join in on board/card games if they're going. I do enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but I wont be throwing any parties at the house. I'm quite an outdoorsie person, Ill try to spend my weekends out hiking and doing similar activities, I love watching/playing sports (Any will do). I have no issue with pets! Ive listed 2months stay, thats more just so that I dont get locked into a 6 month lease with someone you cant stand. I will certainly be open to extending that for longer if I get on well with the housemates
Hello mates!! I'm Alberto and I'm from Italy. My hobby is do a lot of sport, visit new places, drink wine and beer, meet new people, watch the film, swimming in the ocean, run in bicycle. I'm quiet and happy person, I have a lot patience and I really want to learn surf! I will live in Melborne at least 6 months. I'm search of a private furnished room, No share room! See you soon!
As much as it is a cliche, the place it's self is in the heart of everything, a stone throw away from the frolics that Brunswick St and Smith St can bring. While also a couple of mins walk from Edinburgh Gardens, which would be just plain rude not to laze about in on a sunny day. The room can comfortably fit a Queens sized bed, bed side tables and has a good sized wardrobe. It has its own balcony, that looks upon red bricked roof tops and gets some beautiful sunny mornings. The bathroom is shared, but really spacious and the shower has great pressure, most important. There is plenty of shared living space, a laundry and a courtyard that is just waiting for summer to finally visit. You will need to go on the lease, which I have signed up for another six months. So if you're up for living in a pretty spectacular double story town house with a chilled girl who loves a laugh, this is the place for you.
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, board games, generating food, smoking maybe eight cigarettes a year, and making hay out of city life. Pets are a life goal; large, friendly, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere inner-northish and within reasonable riding distance of Docklands. I'm currently living in Northcote with fam so flexible move dates are OK. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate - shoot me a DM and let me know ok? Thank
Im a paramedic student, currently living in Heidelberg. I work at a pub in Fitzroy north. I'm easy going, get along with anyone, always up for having fun and trying new things. I'm a tiny bit OCD so like to keep things tidy and I don't mind cleaning. In my spare time I like to get outdoors, exercise, catch up with friends and all the usual stuff. I can be pretty shy at first but not with the right people, after I get comfortable. Would preferably like to live with female housemates
Hello, I'm looking to find a new lovely place to call home while I finish off my degree and enjoy all the lovely perks of Melbourne. I'm a full time science student majoring in microbiology, love dogs (but don't have one), enjoy seeing live music or poetry on occasion with friends and friendly chats over morning coffee. I am also financially stable, share-house trained, considerate and easy to communicate with. I am social but would prefer to live in a relaxed house that I can come home to and have a quiet space to study in, although I do enjoy having a friend or two over for an afternoon beer or a chat over a cup of tea. If you think I'd be a good addition to your household please get in contact with me. I'd love to come meet the housemates and check out the place. Thanks! Hannah
Hi there, My names Anna. I am looking for a new house or flat around the end of October. I'm a friendly and independent person, I'm 22 and have been living out of home since I was 18. I work part time and am a full time student. Looking for an easy going place to live with friendly people.

Hi, I'm Brianna from the U.S., I've been in Melbourne for a few months now and I'm looking to rent a flat for what I am assuming to be my last month here before I travel Oz (unless I extend my work contract again, which I might do!). I need to move out of my current space on the 28th of October but could find a temporary arrangement if I need to wait until early November. Ideally, I'd need someplace furnished with at minimum a bed. I currently work a 9-5 in the tech sector in the CBD/Docklands area and love the Collingwood/Fitzroy area (art and tacos have my heart), so somewhere easily accessible to both of those places would be ideal. Walking distance to parks/cafes/bars/free tram zone is on the top of my list, but mainly I’m looking for some cool cats to share a flat with. I spend my downtime drawing, exploring, yoga, and trying to seek out adventures and meet new people in this awesome city. I’m looking for flatmates that are a bit social, that enjoy a Netflix binge or a drink out on the town together as I don’t know a ton of peeps, but also do their own thing. I’m big into animals, so if you have an animal friend I will probably spend a good time petting it.
I work for a rad bicycle shop and love camping! I am super tidy, a nonsmoker, and am often away on an adventure on the weekends. When home I like to read or run the Melbourne Letter Writing Association, a club in Melbourne where people meet in bars to write letters and postcards! I love craft beer and music and have no pets =)
Hey! I'm Lacey, I'm an American raised dual citizen, and I've been in Australia for two years. I'm a student at RMIT studying communication design, and work in hospitality! A share house chick through and through, I can keep tidy spaces and pay my bills on time. I've got a cute lil cat named Cornelia, who mainly hangs out in my room and on the porch, and likes to be outside when she can. When I'm not working, I love a good brunch, vintage clothing hunt, and even an occasional boogie. When I'm home I love a chat, sneaky uber eats over and movie night, but equally love alone time. More than happy to look in most places to live, as long as its close to PTV!
Hey there Just moved back to Melbourne to work on my art blog. I'm a clean, respectful housemate who's happy to be a part of the household but also understands the need for space. Looking to preferably stay in a share house with 2 or 3 other housemates. Move date is flexible - anytime in October is fine.
Newbie to Melbourne life, Been here just over a month. I'm looking for not just housemates but people I can actually call my mates! friendly and easy to get along with (well that's what people tell me), LOVE to cook and socialize over food and a few drinks, incredibly into live music and the arts (Bit of a muso myself so you will most probably hear me singing haha) in general and also incredibly bad at talking myself up it seems!
I'm a bred Melburnian, recently returned home from Europe. While working in government and as a bartender, I am also completing an engineering degree part time. I enjoy creative and outdoor pursuits in the little free time I have. This includes playing the guitar, sketching, rock climbing, hiking. After dark, I can be seen at a gig or a house party, when I'm not paid to pour beers. I'm after a community-minded household, preferably on the sustainable side (composting and recycling); with an element of socialising and grocery sharing preferred, but not required. I'd prefer housemates of a similar age range (mid-to-late 20s/early 30s) and values. Having lived in sharehouses for over 3 years, I know how to conduct myself in one. I can pay my bills on time, do my share of cleaning, won't leave stuff lying about the place, clean/pick up after myself, and am mindful of noise and personal space. I don't smoke, nor do I have pets. I'd prefer my own room, as I'm bringing along a fair bit of stuff.
I'm Heleen, a Dutch girl living in Melbourne. Starting my new job at an advertising agency in the city next week and hope to stay at least a year, maybe longer. Looking for a comfortable place in an area that is full of things to do. I like artsy stuff, photography, sports, interior design, coffee, beer, wine and food. I'm always busy doing stuff, but will be a room mate that likes to have friends over for dinner and drinks, so I don't mind to cook as long as it's not only for myself :).
Hi there! We have a spacious room to rent in our sharehouse in Fitzroy North. Free from November until the end of February. (4 months) Location is absolutely great: 2 min walk from 96 tram, 10 minutes walk to 11 tram. 20 minutes by tram to the city, within walking distance of Fitzroy, Brunswick, Carlton and Northcote. The best things about the house: it's big, has a veggie patch and a backyard, it's clean and it's on Park Street.
Rent is $220 per week. Bills are not included but they are not very high. The room is furnished. But you are welcome to bring in your own furniture, for your bedroom and other rooms too. About the house and the people: there are three of us late 20's to late 30's. Julie, Ramón, Minty and a furry fluffball (our female cat). We all enjoy a good laugh and a good conversation, and are friends though very independent and respectful of each other's space. (Ramon and Julie are a couple) We are clean and are looking for someone who also is clean. This is the only non-negociable thing about our house-share. We don't smoke and have a no-smoking-inside-the-house policy (it's totally fine in the backyard). We'd like someone that is social but independent; preferably a girl (positive action;-)). Hope to hear from you soon! R, L∧ J
Hi! :) My name is Nina, I'm brazilian and I'm here in Melbourne to improve my english and to work. I like music, politics and arts. And also I'm easy-going, clean, organized and very friendly! I'm looking for a share house, ideally for 5 months. In general, what more enthrall me is to learn about new things and listen particulary impressions of different people about the life :)
Hi! My name's Becky and I'm a student from England. Recently moved over to Melbourne for a year long placement at St Vincent's Institute. Currently living in Ivanhoe with awesome housemates but would love to be closer to the city so I'm hoping to pack up and move someplace else! I'm super easy going and chilled, love a good movie night in or equally a good night out! Also love a good weekend clean (provided i'm allowed to blast some awful music). Most important thing for me is social housemates who want to do stuff together, whether it's hiking, drinking or eating out/in! Drop me a message if you think I'd be a good fit! I'm hoping to move in early November.
I am a 27 year old full time events manager/Lighting Designer/Audio Technician/Creative. I work full time Monday -Friday in the city, organising and running events, lunches and parties for students at RMIT. In my spare time I produce music, collect records and play the odd DJ gig here and there. I love to cook and share a meal with housemates, as well as watch films or get stuck into a good series together, or some intense card/board games! My previous share house ended due to the landlord renovating. Prior to that I had been the head of the house for about 4 months, looking after all rent bills etc. Which I feel shows that I am responsible and forthcoming when it comes to bills etc in the house and know the stress that someone not paying their way can cause. I am looking for a place to call home for the next few years, somewhere I can relax and chill outside of work, as well as work on my creative, music and art projects. I do not mind having people over from time to time for dinner, or the odd social occasion but I am not looking for a party house. I like to think that I am clean, tidy and respectful of other people's privacy, without being pedantic about it. I really look forward to hearing from all of you, Mark
Caitlin and I are originally from Perth where we both worked in music and arts. We've just returned from a year travelling and doing volunteer work in Europe. We stayed in about 70 different locations with families, friends and airbnb hosts, so we're rather well house trained. I'm opening a craft/gallery bar on Smith St and Caitlin is furthering her photography career after a 2 year hiatus (Caitlin Worthington Photography). We are initially looking for a room in a shared property or starting a new lease and sharing with one or two other people for our first 6-12 months living in the area. Please get in touch if we sound like the kind of people you'd like to share with.
Hi hi hi! My name is Emelia :) I work at a Start-Up (YourGrocer) in Digital Marketing & Content, teach a cooking class twice a week and have my own cake and dessert business. So safe to say I am fairly busy. In a former life, I was on MasterChef (woo) and so I live to cook / eat. I am looking for a home that is welcoming, fairly social (but not a huge party house!) and people I can become good friends with. I am very respectful of people's space, am very clean and organised and just all round a good egg.
Hello potential housemates. I'm fun, friendly, clean and happy housemate looking for a home with a group of lovely people in Fitzroy or surrounds. Sadly our landlord is renovating so our happy household has to split ways. I work full-time in the media industry, not often standard hours (earlyish, days or evenings), so perfect for bathroom sharing. I've lived in a few share houses so already trained :). Happy to share a wine and dinner but also know when to leave you alone. Happy for a home for six months plus or longer, I am flexible. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Easy going. Easy access to public transport is top priority. Prof working in Collingwood. I have a regular routine lifestyle; gym and work take up most of my time. Love to hang out with my mates but will never bring the party back home. Im pretty causal and laid-back, tend to get along great with people who don't take themselves too seriously.
Hi there, my name is Emma-Jean I work FT as a Librarian in Fitzroy. I have a cat named Velma. I'm looking to move around the 15th of October, but can be flexible if needs be. Currently living in Fitzroy, I've been here for five years and I would like to stay in the area so I can walk to work and my weekly pottery class. I love sewing, crochet and making pottery. My favourite thing to do is read in bed with a hot cup of tea. Some of my other favourite things to do are visit art galleries, go bushwalking, listen to podcasts, cook and eat good quality food. I have lots of books, comics and house plants.
Hi I'm Jason 28 i work within the Employment Services industry. I like to think I am down to earth easy going person who enjoys good food and the occasional drink with friends. I do have full time commitments so would predominantly spend weekends and nights at home.
Hello there. I'm a nurse working full time across Melbourne having recently relocated from Brisbane. I'm looking for a quiet, calm and relaxing environment to come home to and unwind in after work. Something with a nice green outlook, a good walk near by or a deck/balcony would be excellent. I am an easy to be around, funny and clean person to live with. I am an extremely responsible person who is respectful of others, including personal and communal spaces. I like to keep my interactions light hearted and sincere and love to have a cheeky laugh when I can. My job will see me rotate on a variety of shifts across the week. As such, I am looking for a home that is quiet (so I can catch up on sleep) and easy-going (so I can get away with making a meal or having a shower at odd hours). I have a little dog with me, he is 8 years old, 8kg, non-shedding and a little legend. He is well trained, toilet trained and no trouble at all (he doesn't chew, doesn't scratch floor boards and doesn't rummage through the bin etc). He gets along well with other dogs/cats/birds. In my spare time I will be out and about with the dog, catching up on sleep, cooking, reading, watching a good tv show or just going for a drive to unwind. I'm flexible on my move in date and length of stay.
Outgoing couple looking for furnished room. Hola hola! We've just arrived from Chile with a Work and Holiday Adventure Visa! We are looking for a cool place to settle in starting the 14th of September (hopefully). What would be cool? A sociable house with good location, Wi-Fi, a nice kitchen and a furnished room. About us: We're both 28yo Publicists who like to have fun, meet new people and places, have a few drinks and a good laugh. We're responsable and house trained. We also have Pisco!
