I'm a 29-year old professional with a background in education and music/performing arts. Currently in Chadstone but looking for a place that's more in the creative inner north and closer to my places of work. I am a writer/composer and teach music + work in a music shop so I have an income :) During free time, I'm often curled up with a book and a cup of tea or out meeting up with friends/seeing shows/op shopping. I'm a friendly and respectful housemate, and though I enjoy time to myself (I guess you could say I'm a bit of an introvert!) I also enjoy a good chat and spending time with housemates. I love to practice/play music as well, but always at appropriate times (usually when other housemates are out :) ) I'm always up for cooking a meal to share - have had to cook a lot for fussy children previously and I'm told I make a great chicken pie! I enjoy a good procrasti-bake too.
Hello! I am currently studying nursing/midwifery full time and have worked casually in a jewellery shop for 7 years! Main hobby is making my own pieces to sell. I have a relatively busy schedule but love being able to decompress over a dinner/drinks with housemates and friends ☺️ Looking for a chilled household, who are respectful of each other’s space
Hi I'm Chelsea, I'm and independent theatre maker and creative at heart however, my day job to pay the bills is working full-time in administration. I'm a go with the flow kind of person who loves meeting new people and also knows when to give others their space. I'm definitely someone who is always out exploring what's new or what's on in whatever city I reside in. I love to travel and have also previously lived in the United Kingdom and United States. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, cheers.
brief: 21, M, fashionStudent. I'm open-minded more than anything, and try to see things from other peoples views and guess their wants and needs. This makes me conscious of my impact on the environment around me, and I'll do my best to minimise my footprint. I'm flying into Melbourne July 1st and will be studying full-time from July 8th onward. I care for people, sometimes more than I care for myself. Which is bad, but something I'm trying to figure out. If I sound suited to your household, please, contact me.
Hi! My name is Nina and I am 18 years old. I am currently living with my father in South Yarra but would like to move out to start working on my life individually. I work part time at a restaurant as a waitress and do full time studying doing Psychology at Swinburne University. I am open to having a pet if allowed but this is not a requirement. I am a very quiet person and am usually out most of the day. I feel as though I get a long with people and am very friendly. I like to watch movies, listen to music, go out with friends occasionally, study and play guitar. Message me if you have any other questions. Thank you! :)
Hi, I'm Jesse. I'm a 25 year old kiwi guy and Jango is a 4 year old kiwi cat. I'm a full-time construction worker, Jango is a part-time exterminator. We're nice guys looking for our next house/cool place, preferably with some like-minded folk somewhere in Melbournes central suburbs. preferably northern central. Our current lease ends on the 7th of July so we're looking to move between now and then. I've house shared for nearly 10 years now and id say that I'm good at creating and maintaining a household and generally not being a dick. Jango, although now adult in cat years, does little to nothing to contribute to the household and can actually be a dick sometimes. But he's usually really nice, so he gets a pass most of the time. I drink and I smoke socially, I'm not a party animal but I'm not shy. I love herbs We come with heaps of perks, some optional. eg potentially accurate facts, household whiteware, at least 3 jokes, general furniture, free pest control, beer, house maintenance skills, heaps of arguably great stories, kiwi jargon and much more.. Our prerequisites are that place must have a decent outdoor space to hang out in, be cost effective and comfortable for everyone. Besides that we're pretty flexible. If your racist, homophobic, sleazy, really smelly or just a dick please just sort your shit out. an don't contact me. Hola If you think your cool
Hi, My name is Nikoline, an out-going danish girl with 23 years worth of life experience. I’m coming to Melbourne to do an exchange course from the midst of July until around December or January depending if I decide to stay over Christmas. During my time in Melbourne I will be studying at Melbourne University, Victoria at Parkville. I would like to spend my time in Melbourne by enjoying everything the city has to offer. That starts with a nice place to live. As a person I am very open minded, social oriented and I have a loud (and some would say charming) laugh. When at my best, I am spending time with my friends for a drink (or two), at a movie date or for a coffee. I am very curious by nature and I value having a busy daily life that combines my studies, being physically active and having fun. I feel very strongly about food - meaning I love to eat it, but I am not very good at making it. The good news is that I am finally ready to learn :-). On a more serious note, I would cherish to live in a place where I can hang out with my roommate(s) whether it’s a night out, having a game night or just a casual dinner. At the same time, I appreciate my own privacy as much as I respect others. As a roommate I would characterize myself as a non smoker, neat, organized and without a pet. Overall, I consider myself a respectful person towards others habits and lifestyles. I wish to live in a well-kept but at the same time chill home. Therefore, I am very flexible regarding my future living arrangement; even if it is a room for rent in an apartment or shared house. I am looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers
Hey guys, my name is Farell. I work full time in the city. I’m looking for a private room in and around the CBD. A little bit about me. I would like to describe myself as laidback and social. I enjoy drinking over the weekends and binging on junk food. I’m looking for housemates I could share stories over a cuppa coffee post work or grab some dinner. If you think I would be a fit please drop a text.
Hi! I'm a Polish girl in her 20s studying and living in Glasgow, Scotland. I'll be moving to Melbourne in July 2019 for a student exchange. My main interests include reading(mostly popular science), weightlifting, travelling and cooking. I love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, strolling around or simply sitting in the park. I am a mix of an introvert and an extrovert, meaning I usually spend my time alone studying or working on something, but I love an occasional outing/dinner/drinks. I am quite organized and tend to keep my place neat and tidy, as that's how I function best. I'm rather easygoing and looking to have a fun and friendly relationship with my flatmates, while respecting each other's privacy.
Hi there, I am Victor, a proactive Spanish geologist currently working full-time in Melbourne. I do enjoy myself doing outdoor activities such as climbing, hiking and many others. I also play the guitar and a bit the trumpet (but haven't got one :( ). I do have plenty of experience sharing houses over the last few years overseas. I love cooking some delicious Spanish dishes from time to time such as paella. Looking forward to find a nice house and better flatmates! Cheers
