Moving to Melbourne in Jan 2019 as a full time academic. Looking for a place (walking distance) near the 86 tram line, station and amenities. Loves chilling at home, exploring cafes, going to the gym, chatting, but also respects the need for some quiet time.
Canadian with Aussie citizenship looking to move to Melbourne from Vancouver Bc. I'm a cook, and am usually more than willing to cook dinner for others, especially if feedback is provided. Will most likely be working full-time once I move, and after settling in, will be actively pursuing an apprenticeship. Hoping to find roommates on the more social side of life. Bit of a gamer, and a music producer from time to time. Looking for any kind of rental, as long as the kitchen is decent, and has a gas stove. Already paying for Netflix and Spotify family and more than willing to give those out for free. Super clean, super tidy, and would like to find others who are that way too. If you'd like to contact me, feel free to email me at email@example.com and I will reply promptly.
Hey! I'm Victor, a 24 year-old human being. Born and raised in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, whatever...I'll be around Melbourne for a while, due to my job. I'm a computer engineer who loves to play a wide range of sports, I'd rather try an Australian one, although as a good European I'm really into soccer. Besides, every now and then I go for a cycling ride around the northern suburbs sightseeing the astonishing Australian landscape. I consider myself a tidy guy which is not obsessed with cleaning but I clean my stuff. I'd rather living in a house with sociable people who might want to have a beer, throw a party in a club or what ever comes up, but I'd also appreciate having privacy. Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from you. Víctor.
I'm a 30 year old man who has been living in Brisbane for the last 3 months but will be relocating to Melbourne for work. Looking for a private furnished room. Working as a Sales Engineer during weekdays, I like to go exercise either before or after work and love to spend my weekends outside exploring, playing sports and go out to try new cafes or restaurants (especially for brunches). Thus you'll mostly have the couch for yourself :) I'm a clean, really active and easy-going person who's always up for a chat or sharing great conversations when at home. Having 3 years' experience living with flatmates, I like to socialise but also respect other's privacy and space as I like my flatmates to do as well. If I sound like a good fit for you/your flatmate, send me a message to chat more, Cheers, Nicolas
Hey there! Originally from Brisbane and Canberra, I've moved to Melbourne around 1.5 years ago and looking for my forever home. I'm a soon to be business analyst (will be starting my new job in Jan!) and also completing my business masters. I'm pretty chill and outgoing, so looking for a similar vibe. I'm a Potterhead and doggo lover, and always up for a board games night, a boogie and wine or two or many. During the weekend I keep it pretty low key with work, uni and the gym and in the evenings scrolling through Insta for dog videos and memes. Weekends if I'm not studying, I like to go out an see the Melbourne sights, socialise, or have a day-trip somewhere, or binge Netflix. I've been living out of home for the past three years, so know the ins and outs of a share-house. I'm happy to contribute to communal things, occasional dinners and be part of a cleaning roster. I'm queer and 420 friendly too and a non-smoker. Ideally the house is super chill, respectful and somewhat clean (I'm not a clean freak nor grotty). Super bonus if a dog resides. Negatives: I have a car and allergic to cats. FYI I'm an ENTJ and a Pisces, just in case this helps. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey! It’s Tuana, 25yo. I am looking for a long-term room to stay and working full-time as a digital marketer at Richmond area. Lived with flatmates before in Madrid & States for a year, each. Just moved to Melbourne couple months ago and enjoying it. I am very easy going and would love to have chats with other mates around & privacy at the same time 🙂 Let me know if it fits you ! Cheers
Hi! I'm Amber and I currently live in Burwood. Looking to move closer to the city as I’ll be studying remedial massage at RMIT in 2019! (Moving dates around January.) I'm an introverted vegan, but I know how to be social with my Libra qualities! ♎️😂 I would love to live with vegans/vegetarians but it's not a huge concern, I do love to cook up a mad feed 🌱 Always happy to hang out and grab a few drinks, but I mostly keep to myself! Would prefer an unfurnished room and unlimited internet is a must! (I can transfer my current plan over and split costs if need be, it’s $60 a month) Have lived alone for 12 months and understand responsibilities/cleanliness well. 😌

Bonus if you are vego I love a chat and a drink but also enjoy time to myself! Im super tidy and respectful. I like to cook and grow things and I have a beaut couch and arm chair that can come with me if needed + a great lil coffee machine! Also interested in starting a share-house with some people as I have some nice furniture!
Hello! I'm currently looking for a place to live and would love and be excited to have a roomie or multiple roomies! I've been moved out of home twice before, and have proven myself to be a responsible, reliable, clean person to live with. I am definitely known to be a radiating ball of positive energy. I am studying full time, have a job, have a very active social life and spend a lot of time at my boyfriends so I would most likely be coming and going a lot. I love people and enjoy hanging out but if you're the type to keep to yourself that is also great! I'm a very easy going and relaxed person to be around but also highly organised. Would be great if bills and internet were included in the rent but not my biggest worry. Would prefer to live with people in my age group (20's-30's) but again am really flexible. Would love to meet you and live with you!
Laid-back, friendly artist-type from Perth. I'm an editor by trade, a music journalist on the side, and a cartoonist and musician for fun. I'm quiet and neat to live with, with no pets, non-smoker, non-drinker, bringing a car and a lot of books, looking for a somewhat eco house with a direct route to the CBD for work.
Hello beautiful people of Melbourne! I'm Michelle, a 27-year old postgraduate student from the Philippines. I'm moving to your city in February 2019 to study at the University of Melbourne for 2 years. I'm a Copywriter by profession. Looking for long-term accommodation during my studies, preferably furnished and with stable Internet. I don't have a car so parking space is not required. I'm also okay with sharing common spaces, such as the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. I pay rent on time, and I'm really neat (okay, maybe borderline OCD is the word haha!). I have experience in co-living, as I lived with 3 lovely girls from Brasil, Tunisia and China before. I'm the type of person who really gets to know my flatmates on a social level, and not just in a "Oh-s/he's-just-someone-I-Iive-with" kind of way, but actually hang out, whilst still respecting your personal space. I enjoy art, pizza, music/music festivals/concerts, films, coffee, nature, online shopping, TV series, traveling, dogs, yoga, milk tea, the beach, and going out with family and friends. When I'm not into my hobbies, I usually just chill in my room, binge watch on Netflix (but we can watch together too!), or study/work. Don't worry, I'm normally a quiet roomie, but maybe you'll hear me sing in the shower ;-P Looking forward to finding my awesome space!
An easy going guy, moved to Sydney in February 2018 and now to Melbourne (December 2018). I was living in Dubai before however I am from Palestine/Jordan, I decided to start a new life here in Australia and I am really excited about all the new things that I am experiencing everyday in here.
My place is directly opposite Rushall train station which is 15 mins to Flinders, the 86 tram is 5 mins walk away getting you to Northcote and Collingwood in no time! There’s a big open lounge and kitchen area, laundry, back yard, front yard and good shower pressured shower! My room has an air conditioning unit and is on its own floor so is nice and private.
Move date: 10th January 2018 - max. from end of Dec. I'm a female photographer, a creative person, have a degree in cultural anthropology and now I'm a mature age student of Latrobe University - Bachelor of Nursing aiming to do preventative health promotion rather than traditional nursing. I'm fairly social and active, but craving my own quiet time between, I prefer a chilled home. I love art, I'm conscious of the environment, politics and social justice. I'm fun loving mix of extrovert and introvert qualities. I have traveled extensively and love cultural diversity. I like to cook healthy, maintain a clean environment, I'm out going on the weekends. I don't drink (other than the odd glass of a craftie), but rather socialize out and about, see an exhibition, be in nature, listen to music or go for a boogie with friends. I'm considerate, respect other people's privacy and property. I'm fine with smokers as long as it's outdoor. I like to find a good balance in spending time with my flat mates, have fun, creating a great vibe, and also to let them to be. I'm happy to go with any furnishing arrangements. If needed, I have fridge, washing machine etc. but they also can stay in my storage. I'm flexible with arrangements. I'm looking forward hearing from you. Cheers, Zita
I work in Garden Maintenance Monday / Weds - Fri and volunteer at the Vic Indigenous Nursery on Tuesdays! I enjoy getting out of the city on weekends and exploring the national parks nearby and am passionate about the preservation of (what is left of) our pretty planet. Looking for a friendly gang to make a home with for a short while, keen to make friends but equally appreciate my alone time
Hello there! I'm returning back to Melbourne at the start of January after a 6 month visit to the montherland of Manchester visitng family and mates. And I require a long term abode in a houseshare somewhere in the Inner North (Fitzroy, Collingwood, Brunswick, Northcoat etc). I'm a pretty sociable and friendly 34 year old guy who works full time for a company in the CBD as a software developer and into a whole manner of things; anything music related, festivals, gigs, comedy, eating, drinking, escaping the city, camping, travelling, exploring, chilling, basically all the good things that Melbourne has to offer which was why I moved there :-P I'm an easy to get on with and tidy fella who's happy to chip in with cooking etc and general household chores. I'm non-vegetarian but do quite enjoy the healthy infuence that living with vegetarians has! And also considerate and respectful of each others space and privacy. I'm a permanent Aussie resident (just waiting for my citizenship to come through once I've learnt how to spell VB and cook a snag for the test) and lived in Melbourne for 5 years prior to this UK visit. I've been living in a houseshare while I've been back in Manchester (2 girls and another guy) and I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you what a great housemate I am haha. I get back to Melbourne on the 9th of January so would be looking to move in somewhere anytime from then onwards :-) Cheers Danny
Hey there! I'm looking for a room to settle into as I jump into my postgrad in Law at unimelb so I'd ideally love a place nearby as I'm sure I'll get well acquainted with the libraries there. I'm originally a Perth girl and fled the city like many others so I’ve been in Melbourne for study/life over the past four years and have this share house, adulting gig pretty down pat. As for my interests, I'm always up for a wine and netflix sesh and am definitely an arts nerd when it comes to exhibitions and gigs. I'm currently hopping around America/Europe, but will be back in Jan and looking to find a place filled with some likeminded legends then :)
I'm a relaxed and happy creature working in IT at a Collingwood startup. My main life dilemma is balancing a healthy lifestyle with my love for good wine and food. I've lived both with others and on my own for a while and know how to keep a place clean and tidy. I enjoy to throw myself out of planes more than anything in this world, which means I'll often be gone over the weekend. If not, I'll probably be hanging out with my friends, out for dinner or occasionally joyfully losing my hearing to techno. And of course, I would be more than happy to socialize with my roommates. I'm hoping to find a place not too far from Collingwood with two or more other persons who share similar values of positivity and kindness.
Two bedroom unit located near the corner of Miller St & St Georges Rd. Unit is close to 11 and 96 tram, 20 mins from the CBD or a good 1 hr walk. There are plenty of parks and cafes within an easy walking distance & Merri creek is only a 2 minute walk away. I am looking for someone who's easy going but respectful of others space and is clean. I like the occasional social gathering and I am often baking. I am after someone who wants a home rather than just a roof. I am a pretty relaxed person who likes to share a meal when I can but I also really like my own time. The unit is fully furnished, including your bedroom with a big court yard with outdoor dining and a hammock. $250 a week plus bills.
I'm 31, female, and spend most of my time painting. I have a studio in Brunswick East so I'm there quite often in the evenings and work days in retail. When I'm home I enjoy a relaxed, clean environment. I enjoy company of housemates while equally respecting their time and space and would be looking for a place that shares this thinking.
