My name is Louis, I'm 30 years old and I am a creative professional that works from home, I used to be a social worker for 5 years working with refugees, disabled and disadvantaged communities & in mental health. I'm looking to live with max 1-2 people with a budget of $300 a week (flexible). I can pretty much live anywhere - I have a preference for leafy and green suburbs in the Northern, East and South Eastern Suburbs. I'm not too fussed about living inner city, and I'm also open to outer suburbs and regional Victoria! I have lived and worked in the West and North Western suburbs for the past 5 years so looking for a change from there! I would like a large room or two rooms so I can set up one for my art and work from home setup ! I am a highly creative individual that thrives in an environment that has an appreciation for the creative arts that is safe and welcoming . I usually spend my free time writing and recording music at reasonable times , editing videos, and doing photography. I also gig in around the inner north circuit in my project. To contrast that, I also am a mindful person who enjoys Bushwalking, road trips in my campervan and also travel. I am seeking to connect more with nature with like minded individuals and also take my creative endeavours and lifestyle a little more seriously. I am clean and tidy but would work well with someone who isn't pedantic. I also live well with people who have a sense of humour and we are able to have intelligent and mindful conversations about the world. I would ideally be wanting to live with young professionals who are creative /have an appreciation of creativity. I drive a campervan so I'd need a driveway or off street parking (higher then 2.1m) I'm totally of the opinion that in order to live well together there has to be good synergy - so keen to tee up a viewing and interview whenever convenient. I'm in no rush. For me the right fit is very important!

When I'm not curled up with a good book or playing video games, you can find me exploring the great outdoors on bushwalks with my dog Louie, who is a 2-year-old blue heeler. Speaking of which, I walk him every morning but I'm looking for a roommate or two who would love to keep him company for cuddles and playtime when I'm at work, if there is another dog that already lives there and loves to play, he'd be over the moon (And that would make me so very happy too). I'm a big fan of movies and enjoy losing myself in captivating stories on the big screen. In my free time, I also dabble in writing, knitting, and art, finding solace and self-expression through these creative outlets. Boardgames are another favorite pastime of mine, especially when shared with friends. I do work 2 jobs currently, which are both weekend and night shift heavy, so I would be getting home at strange hours sometimes. But I am happy to work this into other schedules and remember to be respectful of other people's sleep schedules (I would be as quiet as a mouse). In terms of house vibes, cleanliness is important to me, so I maintain a regular cleaning schedule to keep things tidy. Respect and inclusivity are at the core of my values, fostering an environment where everyone feels welcome and accepted. I do have ADHD so anyone else who is a little Neuro-spicy would be able to understand how that works in a share home. Open communication is key for me as well; it helps build strong relationships and ensures that everyone's needs are met.
