    Jaye

    $250/week55 year old non-binary

I'm Jaye, a somatic movement educator, restorative yoga teacher & creative arts therapist. I'm self-employed & work part-time. I'm calm, friendly, mature, self-aware, creative & fun. I have plenty of experience in 'grown-up' share housing & have what it takes to create a positive, functional & joyful experience of shared living! I value a clean, tidy, organised & aesthetically pleasing, homely space. So I am keen to live with others who share these values. I like a share house that is a peaceful, well-loved, shared sanctuary, but also a social space where friends/partners drop by for cups of tea & there are some regular shared meals. I love growing vegetables & cooking wholesome, delicious vegetarian (dairy-free) food for my housemates. I'm over 50, queer, non-binary (AFAB) & live with a chronic illness. So I'm looking for a queer-friendly space where people respect & accept different ages/genders/abilities. I'm a non-smoker, & I'm definitely looking for a non-smoking household. I'm also looking for an environmentally-aware household, (where we make eco-friendly choices, when possible within our capacity). My family: I have a bonded pair of Devon Rex cats. They are indoor cats (they only go outside on lead or in their portable enclosure). They are sweet, silly, sociable creatures & love human company. At home I like listening to music, watching sci-fi, reading, cooking & gardening, doing yoga, napping, dabbling in various creative hobbies, deep diving into somatic research, playing with my cats, spontaneous kitchen dancing & making bad puns to (hopefully) amuse my housemates.

    Jake and Ashton

    $300/week20-24 year old men

Hi, our names are Jake (24) and Ashton (20). We’re currently relocating from Perth back to Adelaide, where Jake is originally from. We really need somewhere to move into ASAP as we won’t have another place lined up once we arrive. A little about us: Jake is a full-time chef in Perth, and once back in Adelaide, he expects it will only take about two weeks to secure work again. Ashton works in customer service and will be able to find a job quickly once we get to Adelaide. We’re both responsible, always on time with rent, and easy to live with. We love cooking, spending time at the beach, and we’re non-smokers. We’re also part of the LGBTQIA+ community and are looking for a safe, welcoming home. We do have pets — at the moment there’s a litter of dachshund puppies, but they’ll all be sold by 24 November. After that, we’ll only have our two dachshunds, who are part of our family. Because of them, we’re looking for a place with a backyard so they have some space. They’re well cared for, and we always keep our living space clean and tidy. For us, house vibes are really important. We love coming home to a clean kitchen and a peaceful environment. We’re both friendly, respectful, and easygoing housemates, and we’re looking for a place with nice people who enjoy both relaxing at home and maybe going out together sometimes — like grabbing a coffee or doing something fun. To us, the ideal home is one that’s friendly, respectful, and well looked after, where everyone feels comfortable.
