I just started a new full-time job as an ecologist in Cleveland and if things go well I'll be looking to move closer to my new workplace. Looking mostly in Brisbane's eastern suburbs and bayside areas with a move date in June/July. I've lived in sharehouses before and currently have a housemate (won't be moving with me). I enjoy having a tidy home so have no issues cleaning up after myself and helping with household upkeep. I like to cook most nights and am open to sharing meals if interested. I'll be working 8am-5pm Mon-Fri and on weekends I like to get outdoors and catch up with friends. I have a 6 year old retired greyhound, Henry who is an absolute delight. Very quiet, enjoys sleeping on the couch most of the day and loves everyone he meets. Unfortunately, he's not safe around small animals (race dog prey drive) but might be ok sharing with another bigger dog. I have a whole house worth of furniture currently but can sell/store things if needed. Ideally I'd like to find a house with a yard for Henry's zoomies and a housemate/s who are friendly, considerate and open to some occasional dog-sitting.

Hello, I actually just went through a break up from a serious relationship and although we are respectful, it's a bit awkward living with my ex. Naturally anybody in this situation would want to move out. I'm a civil engineer (stable job in this economy) and am looking for a flat along the train line anywhere from Morningside to Lota in Bayside Brisbane, alternatively in Nundah or Clayfield. I will have a normal professional schedule with some periods of travel away for full week business trips. I'm very clean (according to my sister and current flatmates) and have an active lifestyle outside of the house. I'm very athletic and exercise everyday. I enjoy competitive sailing on weekends and study foreign languages (currently Russian) during the week. I'm quiet at home but love to have people over for a BBQ or board games on occasion.
