$400/week32 year old male

Hello guys and girls. Responsible, mature, fun and hilarious 32 year old here. And my sidekick (not really, I’m his sidekick) Cooper. Cooper is a 6 month old kelpie puppy and the light of my life. He’s also the most well behaved and loving dog you’re ever going to meet. We’re both fully house trained and well versed in how to be housemates. We know how to be quiet and respectful and make everyone in the home feel comfortable but we also wont shut ourselves away and make you feel more alone than if you were living somewhere on your own. Both of us are happy to engage and get involved in things as a household and we both love having a chat on the couch and sharing a meal and getting belly rubs. That said, we’re also pretty content doing our own thing and will always try to create a space where there’s no pressure or expectation. One of us knows how to do dishes and keep a kitchen tidy and one of us knows that outside is where we go to the toilet (I’m still learning). Preferred suburbs to live in is a pretty long list; if the city is 20 minutes away in a car that suburb is probably on the list. Extra points for St Kilda, South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and anywhere else that’s close to parks and beaches because parks and beaches are cool. The focus is on the people we live with rather than the location. Last year was lonely and during lockdown and afterwards i had a bunch of close friends either move out of Victoria or move to a suburb so far away they might as well have gone to New South Wales. I’m not looking for a bestie (I have Cooper), but I’m looking to not feel as isolated as I did last year. Cooper is looking for a bestie but he’s always looking for one. He wants to be friends with literally everyone. You’ll be shocked at how well behaved the dog is. I can be pretty strict with him but he likes knowing what the boundaries are. However I don’t ever discipline him on licking because i kinda like it when he smooches my face. If you’re an a**hole he will sense that and he will probably crap on your bed. So, don’t be an a**hole.

$220/week24 year old male

Hi guys, I'm Vishi, I just moved to Melbourne and am looking for WHOLESOME HOME WITH WHOLESOME HOUSEMATES in Melbourne. I am a junior dental surgeon by profession and will spend 3/4 of my time at my clinics in South Yarra. Guys dentistry is expensive! But you want me in, I can give you home dental checkups for free, lmao. After work, I would love to come to a comfortable happy home with my housemates who will become my family and friends. As a person, I'm respectful, friendly, sociable, I understand the essence of living in a share property such as respect for one's privacy, freedom and need for flexibility. Last experience in Queensland, I stayed with my housemates for 4 years who became my loving family. I would love to join a house that's friendly and can hang out with each other. I'm new to Melbourne so to meet good housemates who will become friends is my priority really, I put the people first, that might be the difference about me. I like having a laugh until my stomach hurts, a giggle, a boogie, an intense workout, a cheeky bottle and more laughing lol. If you like having a giggle, we’ll get along so well. I would love to get out and about on the weekends, will be continuing health and fitness journey, exploring Melbourne, hope to finally explore Melbourne inner-city lifestyle, an life experience I have always wanted to tick off. If I sound any good to you, or think we could get along well, please send me message. I appreciate your time.

$380/week32 year old female

Hi I’m Meg! I’m 32 years old and looking for a new nest to call home. I’m a fairly outgoing person; always up for a laugh, an outdoor activity or a night out. I work full time as an Analyst for a bank in the CBD. I’m also fairly social; I love meeting new people, spending time with my friends, going to the pub, festivals etc. – you’ll often find me with a beer, wine, tea or coffee in hand. If I had to choose one liquid to drink for the rest of my life and I couldn’t choose water, it’d probably be beer with tea in close second place. The more wholesome things I like to do with my life include surfing, hiking and camping. I can’t catch barrels or anything but I can stand up so I count that as surfing. I’ve become a bit of a green thumb since COVID began although I seem to enjoy removing plants and digging them up with a shovel rather than growing them – not sure why although it does sound a bit morbid, I swear I’m a positive person. I’m also a bit of a lover of reading. Fiction and fantasy are probably my two favourite genres. The best book I’ve read recently is Circe – Madeline Miller (the author) is a genius in my opinion. I don’t watch much TV (that includes MAFs and Big Brother) – not for me. If I am going to put the TV on, I’m much more of a David Attenborough type of person. Nothing personal to those people who do enjoy MAFs and Big Brother though. I’ve got friends that froth it. I hope this doesn’t come between us if I do become your housemate - at least there are no secrets between us. I do love a good flick too – I’ll never shy away from a Disney movie. What I’m looking for is a social household and people that are keen to spend time with their housemates. I don’t want to be connected by an umbilical cord or anything as I’m also fairly independent but I’m looking forward to getting to know some new people. I have a car so will need somewhere to park it. Happy with street parking as long as it's easy to find a spot.
